Yes I definitely agree and she still carries the power of God in her voice. And at the same time as we get older oftentimes especially for singers their vocal sound will change Depending upon multiple factors. And yes rest can play a part in how they sound even with their new voice. I could be wrong but it does sound as if she is tired In this particular performance and that's OK. I've been a supporter of Yolanda since the early eighties when she 1st came out with My Liberty. Karen Clark Sheard's voice has changed at least a few times over the past several years as well. And as the consummate professional that she is - she has learned how to work with it and still be powerful. We should definitely give Yolanda the respect she deserves because she has maintained her voice excellently for over 4 decades and the changes that hit most singers earlier have not begun to affect her until after age 60 plus. As supporters of these anointed vessels we have to understand that these changes are going to occur. That's life and life happens. The 3 best older singers aged 60 plus who have taken care of their voices in the most prestine manner in my opinion are Karen Clark Sheard, Yolanda Adams and Gladys Knight.
Praise The LORD O my soul And forget NOT all HIS benefits Who forgives all your sins And Heals all your diseases, Who Redeems your life from the pit and Crowns you with LOVE and Compassion. Taken from the book of Psalms JESUS loves you.
She is fine she just hives her all at the alter when ministering she feels the spirit moving through her as she praise God in song she knows what God has done for her and her family LOVE her and what she does
From 88 to a 88 motorhome, GOD has had you in my life, now we are All going home,..to much testimony concerning you, just know I/we 2 servants Love you... peacemakerservant1
Yea I hear it…. I just chalk it up to her/them(others included)-getting older and still tryna sing the song in the same ranges/key as 20 + years ago (It’s hard to do!)
She's 60yrs old now and that song is not easy to sing for her at THIS age. She's still sounding good but her upper range has come down with age... it's bound to happen. I would suggest she lower the key. No singer will sound the same forever.
