Something peoole overlook is how these high meta champions have insane base stats, like Yone having 345 base movespeed which is almost among the highest in the game, and Sylas having insane HP growth compared to almost any other champion which is why he's so tanky with little to no health items.
That's how Riot makes champions meta without needing to buff them constantly, just giving them better stats right off the bat. Every champion that is constantly meta has better HP, resistances and movement speed than average.
Akali is basically a tank. She has the highest base magic resist in the game, close to the highest base hp regen in the game and top 4 hp per level scaling as well. They keep these characters strong by just letting them stat check people with higher numbers and base stats it's so lame.
@@iwakuralain3064 Yeah, and this is so ridiculous, you would think champion as slippery and mobile as Akali to be very squishy, but nah, lets give her tank level free stats for no reason and an ultimate level damage on her e which is already a good gap closer/escape tool cuz why not.
Watching Bekin play Yone is my guilty (not) pleasure because I fell in love playing Yone in Wild Rift and it's super sick watching such masterful techs at this ridiculously difficult champion. Srsly though Yone is hella fun! I'm learning some tricks with his ultimate; thanks Bekin!

I know you probably know, but around 12:12 you said you stop at and teleport to the first champ hit with Yone ultimate. It's actually the last champion hit, else you wouldn't be able to hit a whole team with it.
Thank you for explaining how yone cancels sleep effects. Thats been killing me on Lillia jg and I didnt know why. On the flip side, I love playing Vi jg into yone. Vi can interrupt all of his dashes and I think even his ult during its cast time.
the reason they don't build last whisper might be because Yone doesn't get value from it on the magic and true damage. I'm sure there are still times to build it anyway though

man him talking about irelia makes me want to see him play irelia, ik he hates irelia but she does happen to be my fav champ even if I don't main her anymore so it seems like i'd be fun to see
Last whisper is not as good on him because he deals substantial magic damage. Though when you finish LDR, it gets better as it amplifies magic damage too.
You probably know this already but it’s not actually true damage for yone E. it’s post mitigation damage so even though it looks like true damage it’s still whatever the damage would have been minus the resistance
@@billybob4159Great sustain, a shield, unstoppability, mobility, low cds, crit passive, hybrid dmg BUILT IN TO HIS AUTOS, can build tanky if he wants, can dive you, fight you from your turret to his, super safe even when going in deep because of E, can jump walls with two separate abilities, OH AND TRUE DMG. I bet there’s even more than I’ve listed here, too.
I saw a dude in Grandmaster-Challenger korea, who has made a really bizarre build but is so fukng strong: He goes for Rage knife, but never upgrades it to rageblade for obvious reasons, and then goes for shieldbow with BT, then sells rage knife and gets IE. Its so stupid strong early game, takes a while to spike after early midgame tho, but you are so stupid strong early on that you biuld a lead anyways.
