He stopped attending the world tour tournaments this year for some reason. But he did still plays in Japan tournaments. Will he be back on international tournaments?

Heartbreaking, isnt it. Last time Momota and Viktor met it ended with devastating score for Momota. I really hope he will gain his best performa soon.

This final was awesome, both players played a beautiful badminton! I think Axelsen was more tired than Momota at the end, might be why he lost.

The fascinating thing about it is that they seem to have a similar amount of stamina, but Momota accuracy and speed are saving him so much energy, that's why he was able to go for the final push at the end while Viktor was out of steam

Though Axelsen knew Momota was using attritition strategy, but he could not defeat that brutal strategy.

Dark Star no it’s not as simple as who’s better than who, Momota usually uses a very reserved and defensive strategy in the beginning, while the opponent keeps on making unforced errors when attacking, later Momota switches to a more offensive strategy when his opponent is already out of steam later in the game. This although very effective, is sometimes not effective against players who are in a better mental condition and can attack with little to no unforced errors

Onesie カウンターの低めのロングレシーブに一瞬で反応して進行方向変えるのもすごいし、あの体勢からクロス奥に飛ばして相手の逆を突くとかセンスの塊でしかないどんなにキツいショットも粘り強く拾おうとするアクセルセンが一瞬で諦めてる

So many History made by Kento Momota. Since Thomas Cup 2014. World Champions All England and super series titles. Kento Momota Dominated Head to Head Record through Victor Axelsen. Kento seemed like lost his top performed since Olympic Tokyo 2020. Nowadays Victor Axelsen Era.

Not impressed..just saw the MS final All england 2018 shi yuqi vs lin dan and that match was soo much better..momota is soo boring. He refused to attack and just play rallies and not making mistakes
