I’m feeling nostalgic watching ahsan/setiawan vs rankireddy/shetty… in this court ahsan/setiawan and boe who were once rival met again but here ahsan/setiawan are still active players while boe is a coach 😂😂

I notice that Ahsan and Setiawan like to play risky shots. Always flat exchanges, low lifts, baiting an attack so they don't have to move around and can rely on their skills and exp to counter attack. Win or lose, they want the rally to end very quickly. Probably the only pair with enough experience and confidence to play this kind of game; helps them stay competitive despite old age.

Flat exchanges and low lifts, yes. Baiting an attack, not so much. The point of their gameplay is to avoid getting attacked as much as they can, hence the low lifts. They know their defence and their reaction time arent as good as they used to be.
