I like Pearly Tan and Thinaah, bless them. But there is still a big gap between them and the top WD pairs. I am afraid they may not be able to overcome this.

They're ranked in the top and peaked top 6, I don't think the gap is really all that big. When it comes to the upper echelons of playing strong it mostly comes down to consistency.
