He is the youngest member of the group BTOB ( BORN TO BEAT ) and they are a 12 year old self composing and producing group known as the vocal/harmony kings. All 6 members can sing, rap, dance and play instruments, they have such beautiful songs, diverse discography and they always perform live. Sungjae made a comeback last week and launched a solo album where Be Somebody is the title track. He is a soloist at the same time, a member of the group. They recently established their own company, BTOB COMPANY to continue their group activities and at the same time, have their own solo/individual projects. The song is about being true to yourself..self love and finding your worth. It's bcoz for so many years, he felt like he wasn't able to do the things he wanted to, there were restrictions and limitations in their former company..he felt like he wasn't really able to showcase his talents, specially in singing coz he is more famous as an actor. Now that they left their former company of 11 years, he feels so free and that he can show how good a singer he is, he now writes songs, makes contents on his channel, do variety shows and other stuff that he wasn't able to before.
