Really don't see what the huge issue with this game is, I enjoyed it very much and only had an issue with the camera but I just get used to adjusting while I play that I don't get bothered by it.
Ethan The Mudkip in my opinion, people are looking for problems this game has because they're constantly comparing it to Banjo. Everyone expects it to be like Banjo and when they find things that aren't Banjo, they freak out. This game does have some legitimate problems, like every other game, but it cant just be a game because people won't stop comparing it. That, and the whole JonTron thing just doomed the game, sadly.
I understand that you don't like this game, but it's sort of annoying to watch a glitch video that just complains about the glitches and stuff. It'd be much better to leave that for your review rather than in a video where the whole point is to showcase glitches.
their minor glitches and some aren't avoidable. like the out of bounds glitches which happen cause everything is owes loaded in just invisible.this is done to save on load times and in order to fix some of these glitches the entire code of the game would have to be rewritten. things like the snow man clipping glitch is minor and nit picky.
As of 6-29-2017, there has been at least one or two patches to the game. this fixed some issues that you are having. Although I haven't got to level 5 myself to see the flying-too-high glitch(?), you will take more than 3 hearts of damage I assure you. (I've done that in level 1) I'm sorry you havent enjoyed your time with it, but I have, and thats what matters to me.
Hey dude, it's perfectly clear that you don't like the game, we don't have the collective attention span of a newborn. Mentioning it OVER and OVER AGAIN decreases the quality of this video drastically. You should save it for the review imo, as thats going to be the video where people care about your opinion, not here. What do I know though? You have a great singing voice!
The glitch is that walking off the water rather than jumping out doesn't pop the bubble and when it pops outside the body of water it was formed in, you don't enter the swimming state.
The bushes shaking are an enuendo. It’s supposed to be something for more mature players. Not to mention you hear laylee giggling when you walk in one. I don’t know why the devs did this but it’s in the game.
I only caught part of the streams but now I can understand the anger you showed on them. You are a great youtuber and i cant wait to see more from you. i will soon get a twitch account and i cant wait to see you over there. Keep up the SpaceFriends even if they arent edited, I like them at least. there may be 5 of us who do
I like the new video, bud! I've gotten very disappointed with the reception of Yooka-Laylee. I was hoping it would be good, and I'd get the Switch version, buuuut.... oh well.
I don't want to bash a game I've never played (and never intend to play either), but that last glitch seems like a really lazy oversight. It's as if they didn't even play test it or just assumed no one would pick the option.
Hearing you sing had to be the most awkwardly satisfying part of the video...Maybe unexpected... Been a while since you uploaded a video bro... -_- sorry about dem zelda glitches... they don't like strangers... Do not comment on this comment you anti commenting commenter.
6:49 Shows that Playtonic doesn't know to Unity right. You see, in Unity you don't have to store items in "special place" before you spawn them. There's Instantiate command that lets you create objects out of thin air as long as you have a prefab of it (which again, doesn't have to be stored in the level). Also LOD issues in the halloween level isn't Unity's fault, it's just badly implemented custom lod (and lod objects nowadays are seldom needed since modern GPU can display objects with arbitralily large amount of vertices. It's more about drawcalls now). How do I know? I'm making a 3d platformer as well. With a level editor.
1) Its not Ukelele. Its Yoo (Yo)-Ka- Lay-Lee. 2) Its not that bad. The game is decent and unlike a commenter said, it is not worse than Mighty Number 9 (does its frame rate drop every 10 seconds and cause your PC and camcorder to bug out [see Projared]????). Many people claim dissapointment when the game was released when all it was trying to do was be a Banjo Kazooie clone like its KickStarter said. The fact that they tried and they got this is phenomenal. For not having enough time (eg- the helicopter was supposed to have a clear window with a passenger; it even has a cockpit but due to time constraints, they couldn't put in a pilot so the window was made dark) to make a carbon copy, the game is good. All of this backlash will either stop a sequel or make the people incharge allow the game makers more time to polish. Either way, its not a bad game.
I like this game alot, but sometimes, they could've tried a little harder. It doesn't bug me that much, but that helicopter out of bounce thing was a little... y'know.
