actually i got into kpop through cdramas. bts is a hard-working group, correct. they made the kpop industry big, correct. they deserve the hype and fame, correct. but lemme tellya, not everything is bts bts bts.....some other idols like shinee, snsd, wonder girls etc. were also huge groups who had many influences on kpop industry. so what i'm trying to say here is that bts is not the only source from where people get to know and like kpop. every idol works hard to achieve their dreams and make it big. please remember that. when we don't agree with you guys saying "bts paved the way blah blah blah" we never entirely disagree, we're just saying that they're not the only hardworking, successful and talented people. many impactful idols attracted audiences and fans even before bts debut, so please don't be greedy and just accept that your fav is not everything. not only you, but also other armies. also we never dislike bts because of them being themselves, they're loveable and talented, wk. but some toxic, immature and arrogant fans kinda damage their image. so please refrain from being too proud of your favs.

They payed way for what ? Twerking on stage ? Wearing short clothes in which half asses are showing ? Underperforming on stage ? Same music in almost every song and the rap is only about “being a bad bitch” “cars” “money” . The most overhyped group in kpop and made relevant by foreign fans . I mean their popularity have significantly declined in Korea .

Because the BTS performances at award shows were so over the top and ridiculously unique and well executed and large big budget productions that now everyone is held up to that standard. People who tune into the award shows expect that caliber of performance and so now everyone that gets to perform at an award show must put forward maximum effort for a one time performance.

before bts on award shows idols don't use more number of backup dancers ,, in 2014 bts is the first one to use more number of dancer and creating a storyline in award shows performance

Bts does not have any predebut survival show or lives but they still had released some music as units before their debut

There are some bangtan bomb contents that are predebut era and they just do like a short vlog inside their old studio.

I may be wrong but I think Run BTS was the first "independent" show managed by a label - all others before that were TV broadcasts They did do Rookie Kings and American Hustle Life before that though but you probably know that by now 😊💜
