The day I almost took my life as I was sitting in the bathroom I opened my phone to find some music to kind of trigger my mind to do it but I accidentally open my Facebook and saw BTS’s inspiring , encouraging video compilation and from that day on I stop. My tears dry out and I listened to them. I will never forget that day that BTS saved me. I still have worst days and high functioning anxiety but I know where to find words of encouragement and comfort . I owe kindness to myself

im failing my exams, my grades are going really down. I don't know what i'm doing wrong, I put attention in class, I understand the topics, but still can't answer correctly my exams. I just finished another one, and thought about this yoongi live. His words mean so much for me.

When I was at my 20's that was the hardest part of my life, like I didnt know what to do with my life, didnt know much about life. But now that I'm on my 30's life gets better. the best part about yoongi is that he keeps it 100% real. when he says you don't need to do anything extraordinary in order to get better, it is true. is something I've grown to learn in my own battles. truth is once you start fighting you do not fight bears everyday. someday it's just like chasing a butterfly. it's a process that can be long but the more you put yourself down because you're not seeing progress, the more your goal gets far from reach. and I know we get pressured so much about getting better in so little time that it becomes the standard but the best gift you can give yourself is starting to self congratulate every achievement you make, no matter how small it is. its not easy to get a grip on it at first but once you start, everything will seem easier progressively. These words have helped quite a bit. Im a recovering anorexic patient who struggles to see past the perfect body, the perfect mind frame, the perfect anything. I have OCD and anxiety on top of it and I sleays want everything in order, done ahead of time, etc. Im learning each day that I'm not perfect, I'm going to fall on my face and I'm going to stumble. But I have to keep pushing ahead and see that light at the end. One day, I will be fully recovered, my anxiety may subside but I will be that much more stronger than I was before. Thank you for the beautiful words Yoongi.

i was having a hard time. Im pansexual, have mental handicaps, and depression, and my father just invalidated all lgbtq+ thinks depression is fake, supports albiest acts, is racist towards asians (even though im literally asian on my moms side) and alot of other stuff we just argued about. im so upset right now and i really needed this. sorry for the small rant thing. I wrote over 70k ranting but still needed someone to just say it will be alright.

Yoongi is the kind of teacher that everyone wants and nobody gets. In the US especially, the education system is solely based on standardized testing and throwing piles of homework on top of us and expecting us to be able to do it. Majority of kids in the US say that high school were the worst years of their lives. Which I can 1000% agree with. If you think about it.. America has some of the worst student support systems in the world (of course others have worse too) All students have councilors to help them but whenever we’re upset we are told to basically suck it up and deal with it. Yoongi would probably be the most understanding parent.. a lot of parents don’t see the honest struggle we have in school but I imagine he would be that kind of dad that would help you instead of yelling at you for not finishing an assignment.

I think i flunked this exam. I'm crying and just so tired. All i could think about was what Yoongi said. Its not the end of the world, thats not how our lives work. 💜
