Yoongi since he debuted has been a very interesting person, I dare say that now I see him much more comfortable in his acting and how he faces things, and it will never be too much to be happy about that with him. Always leave possibilities, both good and bad. Always.

Yoongi is very interesting indeed, he’s a quiet more to himself type, but also shows his goofy side a lot especially recently, one thing that impresses me the most is his love for his craft and art, it really inspires me, he also doesn’t do that toxic positivity bs, he’s honest but also someone that could really encourage you and make you feel comfortable with yourself with no judgment whatsoever, anyway so what I’m trying to say is I love this man to bits.

Yoongi doesn’t talk much during interviews, but when he does, I noticed that he has very thoughtful and sincere answers. His brain is unique and I think he brings a unique perspective. Also he can be just as silly and goofy as the other guys. He’s just a bit more introverted! Another also … just let Yoongi-ah sleep! He’s always so tired and I bet producing music takes so much brain power.

He's a deep thinker. He's really smart and you can actually see him thinking. He can be pretty skeptical...I think maybe suspicious at people's hidden agendas behind other's intentions. His trust has to be earned. He's not strange...he's smart af, and knows his worth.

i hate how many "guide to bts" makes him seemed like he's cold, doesn't give a fuck about anything, has no feeling, is always lazy and intimidating. he's the smollest fluff ball ever, he never raised his voice at anyone and he has always been a soft honey boy since debut.

Yoongi is one of my favourite members, he's so misunderstood. I remember the first time I watched a BTS interview and I immediately felt drawn to him. His personality is so real...you can tell he loves the group, he just doesn't show it in a conventional way

In my opinion I think the reason that Yoongi doesn’t know how to receive physical affection was because of his dad. He said that his dad cared for him and his older brother silently with verbal affection rather then physical with hugs and stuff. I’m basically saying your parents are a big influence on how you grow up and their personality’s will most likely rub off on you. Yoongi reaalllyy cares for the members and it’s obvious so if anybody else calls that warm affectionate little fluff ball a cold hearted man again I will be there to educate.

We can see that all of them changed over time thanks to their friendship but I think Yoongi's transformation is the most obvious. Their love helps him to fight his mental issues but also taught him to trust people who love him, to open up and show his funny side too. In recent videos you can actually see he's happy. It's so satisfying, if I ever had a chance to tell him one thing I'd say he's my inspiration and proof that even we introverted thinking types can achieve this kind of success, being loved by so many people 💜

I like the 7 members but Suga has a special place in my heart. He is so underated, he is so talented, not only does he rap, dance he also writes songs, he produces .

Stanning the group for long, you'll know that his "devil-may-care" attitude is just a Yoongi thing, and it's normal. His opinion about haters comments makes me think about two reasons: (1) he says he don't care because he REALLY don't care about it, and (2) he says he don't care, but deep inside he's the one who's the most affected. And he only says he don't care to REMIND himself NOT to care about it. (also to reassure us ARMYs not to worry)

For someone who doesn't like to be the center of attention or be given compliments, this is a very difficult lifestyle. It's mentally exhausting to be an extrovert when you're an introvert. During meditation he said he can't be still because he has ADHD. He copes very well with his anxiety and I purple him for never giving up.

i think you got it spot on, he is sentimental, he cares too much. thats why he puts on this cool mask in front of others as defense mechanism. I dont know from where but I remember Namjoon saying that "no one worries about us as much as Yoongi Hyung". Its still mind-blowing to me that this man went on tours and produced with a severe shoulder injury for seven fucking years! Like all brilliant people he is complicated.

Yoongi has the most attractive personality I've ever witnessed. And his sense of humor, especially when he's being deadpan... bruh, he gets me cackling every time.

He has a quiet and soft personality yet it's very thoughtful. When he speaks it's usually well thought out and insightful, especially in interviews. And he expresses his love through food, he is constantly cooking for the other guys and that takes his time and effort to provide for them which some people really over look. He quickly became one of my favorites.

I love the fact that Suga being so intelligent will have a long a productive career after BTS as a singer and producer. Despite the fame and fortune, he has managed to keep his head clear, having fun in the process, but without losing his true essence and unique personality.

He does not believe in the MBTI results. But his behavior, his thought patterns, his relationships and his reaction to the external environment manifests his personality. What I find amazing is that he belongs and works well in his pop group, loves and is loved by them.

Yoongi Min is the dictionary definition of multifaceted. Like a carefully cut gem, he has many sides to himself, but all of them are beautiful. Each side of this magnificent human being glitters and sparkles with raw, honest, unfiltered beauty. I couldn’t pick another bias if I tried. 💜🥰

He has pretty much the same personality as me and its great to see and feel that similarity. When I have those random burst of energy its just that I feel comfortable with the people I'm with and the environment or just on my overall mood that day. Yoongi is actually the coolest member of the group. He's not cold, he just knows when to act a certain way for every situation, and also he is just being his genuine self which I love. He does deeply care for all members of the group but he shows it in different ways. We're all different and express ourselves differently and that should be expected. Different personality, different way of being raised, all these things makes you who you are. He's a great guy.

I have always see him as the most loving and caring person. He likes to hold hands. He treasure their friendship and even his presents from the member. He has the most sweetest smile. Min Suga is the most strongest person I have seen in my life. And also very hard working. His life is really inspiring. His patience towards his maknaes are on another level. They love teasing each other and even bicker. But they admire adore care each other to another extent that you cannot even imagine. The relationship between BTS is so pure and lovely. I wish i get someone in my life like them.

I admire him not only for his looks that are adorable, but because he is an autodidact and very knowledgeable person. I think it’s super unfair how people judge Yoongi so quickly. When I first got into BTS, there wasn’t a single moment I thought Yoongi was cold. I thought he was just very quiet. My own brother is very similar to Yoongi in a lot of ways. I’m more expressive outwardly and affectionate even if me, myself is introverted. He’s more…stoic in expression an to himself. But, he shows me very kind gestures such as buying my flowers, letting me give him hugs and giving me hugs before an after work. We talk often an get along well. However, our mother is a heavy drinker and can be verbally or physically abusive, depending on her state. Because of those reasons, my brother has learned to hide his emotions behind a straight face. The last time I seen him cry was when my mom took a beating way too far an he cried for the rest of that night. I was 6 and he was 7 then. Now he’s 19 and I’m 17 soon to be 18 in a month. There are multiple factors why people can be the way they are. Which is why it fucking pisses me off because, if you decently know about Yoongi, you know the shit he’s been through and the stuff he’s had to deal with. I’m not saying he’s happy but people need to seriously stop and THINK about someone else’s life. It isn’t all that you cook up in your OWN heads. Mainly the people who are like this, in some way or another get hurt easily/have been hurt an this is their defense mechanism. Yoongi hits me as the type that cares A LOT more then he shows. ALOT more. An I notice the little things about him, which is why I love him so much and he’s my favorite member. The little things people do reveals SO much about them BUT most people only look at the fact that-just because he isn’t always expressive and JUMPS to the first opportunity to be super hyper or affectionate OUTWARDLY means “he’s cold and indifferent”. It's absolutely terrifying and devastating at the same time of how you manage to point out the right characteristics of the members and put me on the verge of tears lol. Yoongi is just such a complicated person with such complex and intricate details and minor personalities that weave into being him ONE whole amazing person with a pure soul imo. He's just so differently beautifull, and I mean it in a good different. As you rightly said he does kinda die when he receives attention, cuz he just doesn't know how to be able to receive it and portray it in the usual ways others do. HIS way of love and affection just shows the range of characteristics which can be displayed by a person in terms of even displaying love. Yoongi is an Extroverted Introvert. An extrovert with the people he loves, and an introvert around those he isn't much comfortable with. In fact, the reason why he is my bias is because his personality resembles mine so very much. I feel comfortable, knowing that my different personality type exists in a person I love and respect in many ways. His sad, tough past also resonates with mine, although we were in very different circumstances. He wants to show his true side to his loved ones, but often his insecurities stop him from showing his true self. This is a hard shell that those people develop who were never socially accepted when the were their young and true self. They had to hide under a mask, and had to learn to wait for the right people to open up and show their heart of gold to. Sometimes, you can't hold back the emotions and your true personality, so that's why he just gets crazy and happy All of a sudden. If people like him and me are able to overcome their insecurities and traumas, we can shine better than everyone around us. It's beautiful when he is comfortable in his own skin. Happy with himself, Happy with others. That shows that he is at peace internally, and externally. He is so very patient, very kind and caring, despite what is on his face. He will give up everything and everything, if the time of disaster strikes. His sleep, his money, his time. He may seem Cold, cut off and reserved, but that's only cause he was taught to never be his true self. People don't accept him for his true self. He has to have a shell. This is another reason why people like him prefer privacy over Boastfulness. He is also VERY passionate about his art, and is dedicated to put his utmost effort into every project. He is very similar to me. I feel like I'm looking in a mirror, and I can see how others view me. 💕🌺 People often find me very intriguing as well. They don't seem to understand me well. Same for him. Everyone just avoids approaching me at all, even if the people who have approached me have been treated very respectfully and kindly. They go tell others, "she isn't as bad as she looks" and they are shocked 😂😂 It's not even like I'm scary to look at. I look normal, with no abnormalities. They just don't understand why my normal face is rather serious. It's from the childhood pain. You evolve to be calm and reserved. Even if you will be the most selfless and caring, patient and helpful person they might ever come across. Only if they give you a chance. People like yoongi also don't approach first. Yoongi was never appreciated by his parents and they never supported him. He was all by himself when he ran away from his house. He also had to undergo a major accident. He had to do hard jobs to earn a living and pursue his career. When people say he's a grandpa, that's not because he's lazy or old fashioned, but because he has so much experience at such a young age which makes him just as mature as an experienced old man Having all these things affect him at such a young age would actually make him look cold. He's just very mature about things and his boldness is what makes him look cold. He is very good at heart and he loves his family and friends. He may not show it sometimes but he cares about everyone alot. Edit: I'm not trying to degrade his parents. They were not able to support him in his choices because they never expected that it would actually help them. His parents are NOT toxic nor they are judgemental. Suga is my bias and i ADORE him. Yes he comes off as passive aggressive but that's his love language. He truly cares for each and every one of his members. Even though he doesn't act like it, he really does. I've seen compilations of Suga wanting to hold the other members hands. And he never gets to which is so heartbreaking. Suga is a true gem and we need to treat him like such💜

Personally, I think it's just the way he is. I have a character similar to Yoongi. I'm not comfortable with speaking out loud about my love and care for my friends and family, I don't find too much physical contact comfortable and my friends often find me scary although I don't know what I've done to be deemed as scary. I believe in showing my love through actions. But that doesn't mean I don't like receiving love or hugs from my friends. I often reject them so they don't try to hug me anymore but that's because I've been like this my whole life and it's hard to just change myself like that. I feel shy too. It's still uncomfortable to talk about how much I care but I do other things that makes up for what I don't say out loud. It's kinda to protect myself as well. I'm someone who gets hurt easily but I don't want to show my vulnerable side to anyone so I put up a "strong" font in front of others. Also, introverts would under this, it's tiring to always be happy and excited about things. We need some quiet and peaceful alone time to gain our energy back. Suga had social anxiety as a teen and he chose a career path that places him in the spotlight 24/7. I think he was still fighting with his anxiety (he might still be battling against it as he himself said that these things never disappear permanently) in the early years of Bangtan along with the worries of their uncertain future. It's just the way Yoongi is, nothing too complicated. yoongi’s personality is quite like mine, so im glad people are learning not be quick to judge. sometimes there are important reasons for us being the way we are.

Yoongi is my home. He makes me feel safe, able to verbalize my frustration with the world and still comfort me thru it, thru his music. How gentle, goofy and loving he is, how intelligent.. introspective.. his passion for music and how he continuously goes for what he wants.. his interest in mental health which is something we have in common.. I see so much of myself in him.. except patience..

I remember once Yoongi said that his father loved him very quietly, and Yoongi strikes me as someone who loves quietly as well. He is someone who shows his love in small kind actions like when he cooks for the tannies or when they create music together. I am glad the fandom is doing away with the "cold thug scary" Yoongi stereotypes. He really is someone who is gentle and fun and kind. Being quiet does not make someone cold.

I love all the members. Yoongi seems very self aware and a caring person. He is smart and quite talented. I think he’s open and patient once he gets to know someone. This is the vibe I have gotten from him. He can be quite funny too.

Yoongi rapping in the 24/7 heaven song, is absolutely amazing. It’s one of my favorites. He is super talented and I find his personality very interesting. Also, he is so smart. His answers whenever BTS have interviews, are profound and thought provoking.

I love yoongi's personality.. he's quiet with some burst on energy sometimes.. he's definitely happier now.. he smiles & laugh more than in the videos in the earlier years..

this is one of the reasons why i am a yoongi biased. he is talented, a musical genius and everything. but what i love the most about him is that i know he will never fake anything. he is always genuine and that's just admirable esp when we talk about kpop idols. and i feel like many people relate to his personality so much, and that includes me. i am mostly a quiet person but i can be easy going and fun, noisy and chaotic depending on the situation. i love physical contact but won't ask for it and idk how to properly receive affection and compliment bcs of the way i grew up. but i always tell people who i love that i love them in ways i know. my humor is even the same as yoongi, it's so funny. but I can't relate to his patience and calmness, and that's what i'm trying to learn from him. he is not cold, but just reserved and quiet. he is sweet and a very thoughtful person.

Suga is that kind of parent who loves the kid to an unimaginable extent but gets shy while showing their emotions. Honestly, my first impression of him was a softie and a cutie. Later on, I saw his unbothered side......which I again found cute. He is just the best and that is why he is my OT7 bias wrecker🤣🤣

What I notice most about Yoongi is that he seems very articulate and outspoken. I suspect he is the leader when it comes to activism. I love all of them, but I am not sure they would be as committed to social justice without him. He is often the first person to answer difficult questions in interviews. I just wish he could get more sleep...

*i remember, when i first got into bangtan there was always something so fascinating about yoongi, i couldn't pin- point it but as time went by, i started to learn more about his personality like ; his amazing patience, how well articulated he is, his own way of showing love, affection and appreciation for the members, etc. i've seen some armys say that he has a "cold, mean demeanour", stupid shit like that but that's definitely not true at all. yoongi is.. ..warm-hearted, caring, loving and passionate about the things he does. though he's quite introverted, he feels comfortable enough to show his real self to close people in his life and i think that's just so sweet and beautiful about him.* 🖤 i can't really explain much anymore because you've said it all in this wonderful video.

Ever since I started watching them, Suga has always intrigued me in a good way. And I discovered "Fifty (or more) shades of Suga". Savage Suga: Makes people laugh by putting disrespectful people in their places, and replying in the most unexpected ways. Mysterious Suga: Always looks around, notices everything happening around him, smirks and minds his own business. Thoughtful Suga: Doing grocery shopping, cooking and feeding group members. Realistic Suga: A perfect combination of optimism and pessimism. Scared of the uncertainty, but learnt to live in the moment. Bad boy Suga: Curses in his raps and lets out all his bottled up anger. Cat Suga: Sleeps like a rock, becomes goofy with a gummy smile. Drunk Suga: Becomes extra loud, calling Jk and V as if they are somewhere else. Smart Suga: King of random knowledge and spits out information when you're less expecting. Artist Suga: Facial expression, dancing on point. Caring Suga: Whenever someone is looking for water, give it to them looking the other way. He's an introvert, and he often struggles to express how he actually feels. I can relate to him a lot. And there's a lot of other sides of him that I felt during watching the videos but it's hard to put into words. And last but not least, Good looking Suga: I really wanna know his glassy looking skin's secret. 😼

One of my favorite "Yoongi's love language" moments is for sure his VLives, because even tho he's an introvert, he has been sharing so many things of his life and his thought when he goes live, always in his soft and comforting way of speaking. My favorite "recent" one for sure is the one he made after his shoulder surgery, he was in his home resting and didn't need to show up but he did anyway to reassure us that everything was fine 🥺🥺

Since the beginning, Yoongi has been the most interesting and more mysterious member to me. Every layer of him that we unwrap is something new and beautiful, and he gets me to smile every time I see him. I get emotional and attached to him, and he makes a change to our world with his every good deed

yoongi is my bias because of his personality. not only is he INSANELY talented but i also have sort of the same personality as him. he comes off as cold but he is an affectionate guy and he rlly cares for ppl. im the same. a lot of ppl when they first meet me they think im this cold sarcastic person that doesnt rlly care for ppl. i can be at times but i love my friends and i'd do anything for them. suga is so relatable on so many points but especially his personality for me is the most relatable of bts lmao

Min-Yoongi (Suga) born in Daegu, South Korea, into a poor family. Growing up, he was a good student in school, but rather than paying attention in class, he spent his time writing lyrics on scraps of paper instead as a means of pursuing his passion for music. He did mention that he was inspired to make music after listening to “Epic High” which he heard in sixth grade. However, when his parents found out about this, they were more than angry. They threw away all of his lyrics and forced him to focus more on his studies. It was around the same time that Yoongi began developing an interest in basketball; he was extremely good at it and would play with the kids afterschool and on the weekends. There are several clips of Yoongi playing point guard and making three-pointers with accuracy. But music was always his passion, and he continued producing despite his parents’ disapproval. At the age of 13, he began composing works and learned how to use MIDI by then. Because of the poor condition of his family, he was forced to work, but he decided to go to other places to sell his music on the streets. However, it was extremely hard to sell music, and Yoongi in both interviews and his music talks a lot about being scammed (people cheated him out of his money) for his music. One of the most heartbreaking lines he’s said was that when he tried to buy a $2 bowl of noodles, he didn’t have enough money to take the bus home; often times, he had to choose between eating and taking the bus and even more often, went hungry. Yoongi became part of the underground rapper team known as D-Town (Daegu Town) and took on the name Gloss. An iconic rap of his goes by the title 518-062, which signifies the issue that Gwangju's area code is 062 and 518 is the date of Gwangju Democratization movement. Around this same time, Yoongi auditioned for BigHit’s “Hit It!” audition. After auditioning, he placed 2nd out of all the rappers, and landed a spot as a trainee. He was eventually approached by Bang PD-nim himself, who promised Yoongi he would be in a rapper group with little to no choreography and heavy emphasis on his producing ability. Yoongi accepted, and he was then introduced to Namjoon. From that day, he and Namjoon have lived together (they’ve lived together the longest out of everyone in Bangtan), and they began waiting for the rest of the members. While as a trainee, however, Yoongi began working as a newspaper delivery boy. When delivering papers, however, he was struck by a car in a hit-and-run accident which completely damaged his shoulder. Rather than telling anyone, he kept the secret to himself and fought through the pain as he practiced as a trainee under BigHit, afraid that if he told them that he would lose his career with them. To this day, Yoongi does not have full motion in that shoulder and he no longer is able to b-boy (special type of freestyle dance) because of it. As a result, Yoongi began developing mental health concerns. He developed severe depression and social anxiety which still affects him to this day. In his song “The Last” in his Agust D album, he talks about his mental disorders which were severe enough to lead him to see a psychiatrist, and implied in the same song that he has thought about suicide (the beeping noise right before it turns to him rapping about how he’s okay now). During the HYYH era, Yoongi’s social anxiety got to him, and BTS was forced to cancel a concert because Yoongi was unable to perform. Two days later, he posted a long and emotional self-reflection about himself (transcript link below): 160110 Suga’s Tweets Today, Yoongi is a rapper, a Korean Copyright Music Association recognized producer, one of the most outspoken Korean idols about LGBT rights and mental illness, two extremely taboo topics in South Korea, and of course, one of the seven members in BTS, arguably the world’s biggest boy band at the moment. All of his lyrics are extremely reflective of himself and society, and he isn’t afraid to talk about society-consciousness issues. He has extremely thought-provoking lyrics and quotes which continue to prove the beauty Yoongi brings to the world. Furthermore, Yoongi continues to inspire people all around the world, and continues turning people’s lives around, especially those who are also fighting depression and mental illness.
