Not sure if he's intelligent enough to know a ferret isn't a rodent, but I'm sure he's intelligent enough to know that the ferret can inflict great pain upon him.
A D O R A B L E ! ! ! I had a Yorkie many years ago. His birthday was 11/14/84. His name was Romeo. Lol! Wasn’t as small as your sweet one but my mother and I loved him very much. Unfortunately he had a collapsed trachea, an enlarged heart and was very hyper so in public he was very loud. I mourned his passing deeply.😭 Lord bless you and your family! 🙏🏼💙❤️💜🤗
I had a teacup with the same issues that passed away about 10 months ago and miss her dearly dearly dearly looks just like the dog in this video they're the best.
I had ferrets and a yorkie back in the 80s...they played together all the time...some where I have it on VHS ...lol..thanks so much for sharing..I really enjoyed watching :)
So sorry to hear about your precious Yorkie. We lost our ferret: Isabella, 4 years ago but “Echo”, our Yorkie, is still hanging on at 15 years old. May God rest your little buddy and bless you both.
seema solanki I’m so sorry for your loss. We just lost our beloved Echo (pictured here) today. He was 15 and he’s gone to join Izzy (also pictured here), who died 4 years earlier. 😢❤️🙏🏻
Cynthia J. Coleman ; They are tough; awesome predators of small game, and fearless watchdogs. Our chorky who died this July, Tuco, pulled down FIVE birds! He unhestitantly attacked any dog or dog pack that wandered into the yard. Their super cuteness is a disguise.
Beautiful Yorkie and ferrett. My Yorkie likes to fight my hand with his teeth. I wear an oven glove. The instant I take it off he quits biting and waits for it to go back on.
Lee N well my friend yorkies do not shed so that should be of essence unless they are allergic to flat out animals I understand your children come first before any of that . Nice to know there's a caring parent out there though one love brotha :)
That was a great fun video. I can't believe how quickly the ferret could backup under the couch, amazing. Very mischievous so the feret is a good match for the curious behaviour of the Yorkie. The feret playing peek a boo was cute.
We miss him alot so love and attachment to us like a family member I and my husband miss him a lot this week only it happened got liver cancer came to no on last cage
Thank you for that upload. Loved how they played. Really cheered me up. Trying to move house in sydney nsw with all the flooding. What a freeken nightmare!
If you notice when he tries to stick his head under the chair to keep messing with the ferret, around the 12-13 sec mark of the video the ferret gives the yorkie a little snip on the yorkies nose. After that point the yorkie realizes that it might not be smart to keep messing with the ferret and calms right down !
Patrick Towey they were best friends and very gentle with each other until Izzy died 4 years ago and our beloved Echo the Yorkie left us just a week ago 😢 He was the best dog any one could ever be lucky enough to live with.
@@iphonejacki sorry jacki. my heart dropped. i have a 5 yr. old yorkie named bella. i'm a disabled veteran and i would be so hurt if something happened to my best friend bella. i feel you. best to you and one day you might have another pair of beautiful friends who love you no matter what. peace!
lray173 thanks for that❣️And thank you so much for your service 🙏🏻❣️If your Bella is anything like Echo she is a loyal and loving little companion who always keeps you in her heart regardless of circumstances. I’d say you have another 10 years with her God willing❤️
Hi Ingrid...unfortunately my darling little boy and girl are no longer with us. We buried Echo the Yorkie on our front mossy bluff, and Isabella, the ferret near our cabin in the woods..broke my heart.
Hi Elena. Yes, like any pet they can bite. But when Izzy “bit” us she would just gently mouth our fingers in the softest way. She was the most delicate, playful and loving companion one could hope for and we loved her very much..
I know they have to know each other because my Yorkie would have caught that little ferret. She accidently killed one of my young birds outside. It was young and tried to fly out of it's nest and the next thing I knew it was in Lucy's mouth. She dropped it and unknowingly crushed it. I was sad and she was too. I the ferret would have to nip Lucy to keep her from harm. I love your video's.
Pamie Hi Pamie. Echo, my Yorkie was very loving with Izzy, the ferret. He seemed like he never would have harmed her. She was a member of the family like any of us. I know that “in the wild” he might have hunted Izzy and done her harm but we never had to worry about her as our family pet. The two were very close and loving with each other. They both mirrored the humans’ kindness towards each other. In the wild the rules are different. In the wild, often violent relationships between predators and prey are very strict. You are eaten or you eat. So the predators kill their their prey in order to survive. And to feed their young. But it seems that in a family they can learn different strategies and relationships because their basic needs are being met. It’s a huge responsibility isn’t it... best regards.
@@iphonejacki Thanks for the reply. It must be so much fun to watch them playing together. I really enjoy what you filmed to share with all of us. God Bless you Izzy Echo and your whole family!
Did the guy in the background buy a lawnchair for 100 bucks? And why did his wife think they only cost 5? Wait I think they're talking about lunch. he has a $300 budget and he spends 100? Im confused
Lol. Our ferret was the gentlest little darling who when she went to bite you, would just gently mouth your finger and then kiss it ever so softly. She was playful, attentive and mischievous. But never aggressive.
That's right yorkies were breed to to kill rodents. Technically they are mortal enemies but looks like they are best buds. It's almost like he's teasing him haha you can't y Ser here.
