The fourth round of the Yorkshire Classic Club Championship was held near Silsden in Lampkin country where Rob Lowther and Colin Lawrence set 10 harder than usual sections on the slippery rocks in Holden Beck.
Jimmy Noble Ariel mounted topped the field losing a miserly 5 marks. Next best way behind were George Emmott on his newly rebuilt Triumph twin and John Maxfield on 18.
Jeremy Saffin (Cub) took the Intermediate (50/50) class on 26 marks.
On the Clubman route Steve Gossop on his trusty Ariel had a brilliant ride to lose only 5, one mark ahead of James mounted Carl Winstanley. Next with another excellent ride came David Cockroft on his Jackson Cub on 10, 2 ahead of Steve Thomas on his Bantam.
