A drive from Oughtershaw Road, through Gayle, to Askrigg. Looks like Thursday morning is trash collection day. :-/

I am a 70 year old lady from Canada who would love to live in this area for my remaining years, unfortunately I am too old and don't have enough money. Every now and then I watch videos of he Beggerman Road which I have biked and walked numerous times.

Askrigg was the 'Darrowby' and the vet's home where they filmed 'All Creatures Great and Small', I believe.

As did I! (not at the same time as yourself, obviously!) :) In fact, the blast of fresh air in the morning as I climbed out of the boot is one of my most treasured memories of visiting the Dales.
