Finally, I made it to the Yorkshire Dales and in this episode part 2, I Ride from Ribblehead Viaduct (see part 1), which I have been meaning to go and see for so long and end up at the Tan Hill Inn. What a sight it was and the surrounding area was absolutely stunning with awesome riding roads which made it one of my new favorite rides.
Please also don't forget to check out my Instagram page with photos and clips from all my rides. You can find me on there using the name adventure__4life
I have been out on so many rides the last few years and have always been recording, I just never uploaded anything online. I thought I'd have a go. I now have the fantastic BMW R1250 GS Adventure TE in Kalamata design which means lots more awesome bike trips to come.
I am a noooob to vlogging so please go easy on me. if you can like and subscribe, that would be great and you can watch as I learn to make better uploads and show you some fantastic places to go on your next adventure.
Thanks Guys :)

I enjoyed your previous video so I watch the part 2. When you next come up this way go from tan hill to the A66 and head west to Alston, the road from Alston to Barnard castle is absolutely stunning. I’m very fortunate to have moved from Binley up to North Yorkshire, my mates who still live in Coventry come up and ride out up here, they love it. The North Yorkshire moors are lovely as well. Get yourself back up there’s loads of great routes.👍🏍

Love the video. I was out on this route on Saturday. I hadn't seen your video till today. But I also just randomly chose roads as I came to them. Funny that you chose same roads. Where you stopped on way to tan House to let off drone I stopped in same place for a look around 😂

Hi Steve that was excellent 👌🏻. It's so nice to see uploads from others filming my favourite roads in the Dales, and at 0.56 there was a derelict building to your right which is Gayle beck Lodge ( an old grouse shooting Lodge where the grouse shooters would rest for lunch ) that is my stop off point for a brew from the flask and where I'll sit on my camping chair and watch other bikers whizzing past 👍🏻. At 5.00 on your upload there was a large mound to your left and that is my other stop off point for a brew and on the top is a flat spot for the bike and plenty of room to sit and look down over the town of Hawes, great when the sun is shining offering excellent views. Buttertubs pass was mentioned by Jeremy Clarckson as one of the best driving roads in the Uk and who can disagree 🤷🏻‍♂️. Excellent viewing Steve, great upload 👌🏻. Oh forgot to say, the Tan Hill pub was the inn they used for the very first advert for Everest double glazing Windows many moons ago, forget the actors name they used to make the advert, but it sure is a popular place in the summer months 👍🏻

The man in the advert was Tedd Moult, Muker is pronounced moo ka. My company which does tree and vegetation removal did all of the TDF route tree clearing it took us 8 months to complete, it took us to some beautiful places. North Yorkshire is the biggest county in the UK and it’s scenery is so varied.

Straight passed the "Butter Tubs" at 6.33 in the film and not a mention? I guess you didn't know what it was that was fenced off. There's 2 deep holes there that the Dairy Farmers used to store there butter in on their way to and from market; hence "Butter Tubs" Pass. That's what I was told anyway.

@@Adventure4LifeTV It is indeed, though it seems a shame to me that most bikers tend to stick to the popular roads around the Dales and don't really explore the area. There are so many fantastic things to see on routes that few seem to know or are perhaps afraid to take, but you can't really get lost in the Dales - the biggest danger is running out of petrol because there are so few places to fill up !
