This is beautiful BUT I can't help to feel like we, african rooted people, need to stop telling outsiders (non African rooted ppl our ways of living and beliefs.) We are sacred. And blessed. Keep our culture strong and our ancestors proud.

African Spiriituality is the bedrock of all Spirituality on this planet and by default, available to all.
@missqt48
@missqt48 2 года назад
The thing about African spirituality! It is just that! There are mystics that work in conjunction with our DNA! So ‘outsiders’ can study all they want, they can dress, speak and admire the practice but doensnt mean it is for them. Just like some people study Judaism and their lifestyle mirrors the practice but it doesn’t make them a Ju. There’s a huge difference between physical and mental! In these ‘last days’ it’s better to use your ‘third eye.’

Blood sacrifice helps us realise the Importance and Reverence the Ceremony is requiring. Life, Blood, is the most precious gift we can offer. Animals, are still a requirement for Life. We eat meat. It is necessary for our bodies to function. Offering this in Ritual is a huge sacrifice for us. I raised my hen from chick to the day of my Ritual. I made sure she had a certain diet so she would be pure for her role in the Ritual. She was precious to me. The Gifts i received from this Ritual were necessary for my Spiritual progression. So i wanted the Orisha to know, how seriously i took this Ritual, and what i was willing to sacrifice for my Spiritual progression. Blood sacrifice isnt evil. It is necessary sometimes.

I'd say before you start saying incantations or chants in Yoruba, learn the language to the point where you almost become a native speaker. A single change in tone can mean something else. For example the word "ogun" has like 15+ meanings depending on how you say it. Another thing I see is the unnecessary use of the word "Ase" as if it were a greeting. It's a powerful word, becareful what you say "Ase" to, you might end up cursing yourselves with wrong pronunciations due to intonation and "Ase". I'm not even joking, ask the real Yorubas.

God gave everyman how to connect with him. Christianity is Jewish tradition plus jesus christ, Islam is the Judaism, jesus christ and mohammad. Islam recognises all the names in the old testament which is Judaism. Condemning her faith shows your kind of person. Judaism is abrahamovic tradition and humans were used as sacrifice before God told abraham to use a ram. All religion can be modernised.

It's funny that anything comes from black people is of the devil. I wonder where that ideology come from? Hebrews, Hamite theory, the Noah curse of Canaan, or the various quotes if the Bible who suggests that divination is wrong. Hmmm. Ifa is older then all Abrahamic religions , but in yet we as black people are of the devil because of Babylonian texts, and racial discrimination from rabbi, concil of niieca. If you don't understand African culture and black people them be quiet. Jesus respected nature , ancestors, etc. Smh
