This was so beautiful. I visited Yellowstone as a teenager (when I hated everything and everybody) and loved it! Can't wait to bring my grandchildren Question: How did the holes form in the rocks? Are they formed from water with little rocks swirling in them, or are they anthropogenic - formed from mashing the acorns?

Can You Imagine Whom Created the Black Oak Tree. It is very Interesting that the size of a 5 foot base of a Black Oak is approximately 250 to 300 years old.
