i'ts funny to me when you know the flash is comming, so you stop, and then look at them dead ass in the eye as they cannot hold back the urge to mash that button before killing them XD
@@heartyman14 thats t8. one was a ch combo, every char can deal 100 dmg from a ch + wall in this game and 2nd was also a launch/wallslat punish. even dvj couldve done that
@@h4b3e1n9b0Rn all i'm saying is the average character's max damage is down considerably and there's currently only 2-4 outliers who either are just dummy broken or their specialty is high damage combos
people already learned the risk reward for drag's df1 in T7 and that interrupting it wasn't so bad. Now they have to unlearn that cause every string extension in the game needs to counter hit launch for some reason...
thats been like that since forever, many yoshi setups are f3+4 stuff into a whiffed attack that puts them bt, baiting you into pressing on wakeup into bt flash for full combo
I fought some yoshis that will always do this, just play a little careful against this character, watch him use flash, spin, or that teleporting launcher, and you'll beat him. Might be the most effective way to beat yoshi but idk.
@@Kibzdabibz that’s some reddit type of bs tbh. But there was one instance in a tournament when the player was interviewed post match. Guy blatantly started downplaying yoshi after robbing people in the matches.
@@TSOTSO511 ya, +7 is such a crazy advantage for that move to have, but you know whats even crazier tho? him being scared to take his turn at +7 or any advantage he gets every single time he hits yoshimitsu with anything due to the possibility of being interrupted by a 6 frames move or evaded by instant evasive spin... simply retarded
@@TSOTSO511As a Yoshi main, that's a good fucking question. It's not a problem for me but dear lord does every other character get their teeth kicked in at -7💀
and that's why Yoshi is fine except his damage being too high, play against yoshi, just know when to holding back. play defensive is a very useful strategic when facing Yoshi, and the unblockable needs time to pull off. hold back, side step, easy win
@@firasempire5294 I wish that were the case, but unfortunately, folks will always complain. Whether "things are balanced" or not, it only takes ones' favourite streamer to complain about getting skill issued, for the mass to follow suit.
Great showcase of how to fight your average online Yoshi Nemesis, I hope everyone watching takes some notes. Even with a handful of mistakes and knowledge-checks (like going for a d2 instead of a 1,3,2 launcher on Yoshi after his succesful parry whiffed) that might catch anyone occasionally, one can still overcome the Yoshis with sufficient knowledge and patience. Though judging from the -usually clueless- comment section, most people will actively decide not to learn, but instead keep whining about how it's "never their turn" LMAO
Idk why people hating on yoshi, what I see in yoshi is unlimited potential to mess around. The enemy can't guess what I'm doing if I have no idea what I'm doing.
I'm not even a Yoshi main and honestly Drag mains don't deserve to have opinions. Most busted character in the game, stfu about your complaints for other characters
