YotaMD Build Intro - "Cypress" 2006 LX 470 

Psyched to see this build come together! I'm glad you kept the AHC. It's an awesome system that is often misunderstood, misdiagnosed, abused and ends up getting an undeserved bad reputation.

As an owner of an 06 i'm pumped your doing this! Had OTRAAM fix my busted muffler and he reccomended going with a doug thorley over the OEM one, it sounds nice (not like a flowmaster or anything, but real nice) and it sits above the frame, hoping to avoid putting the same holes in this one on the trails.

This is hands down the best color on the LX. I love my 06 galactic gray but the cypress color is my favorite.

Yo you just helped me save my yota ....I'd love to show you the 4runner I've fallen in love with she's my favorite vehicle I've replaced sections of frame and she has stayed true and straight I've gotta do engine mounts I did custom exhaust but I've gotta do the coolant leak from the bypass and you helped me find it Thank you so much

Oh yeah I had to replace the frame yes ... The whole thing 6inches past the rear diff to where the bumper is mounted at the bushing ....I did it with 1/4inch steel tubing and it's body bolted and rides on synergy suspension bushings

Amazing build intro! Can you do a video on the AHC lift/tune and installation of the king coils? I always wanted to do it, but I think an in-depth video would help me build the confidence to actually do it.

The prices of these rigs just keep climbing. After looking for a few months and thinking every single truck was "overpriced," I also pulled the trigger on an '06 LX 470. I paid a bit more but mind came with fewer problems. I think we came out about even!

I am a subscriber and in your video when you introduced the YotaMD build Cypress 2006, you mentioned that you were going to add a whole bunch of armor, front and rear and other items. Was wondering when you might be showing us those. I have a 2005 and loving this vehicle. It is my favorite and same goes for my wife. I plan on adding some front and rear armor in the way of Dissent or someone else's aluminum. I have the AHC working and new globes are ready to go in but have not had the Techstream working yet so I am not sure on my globe pressures. Would love to see your video on the front and rear bumper. Even a walk around on what you have done with the bumpers and anything else would really be appreciated. thanks for all of the videos to date.

whatttt u bought this for 13k usd? damnn i hope everything is all up to date now haha. i got my 99 for 500 bucks and i wuz btching bout the condition of it. but mine doesnt seem to bad at all lol. maybe little more rust. we will see i continue to fix what i can on it
