@@LauraBwayMorris LMAO I was gonna say..... He's such a good phantom though I want to see him perform in person one day so badly. Alas, I only have videos rn :(
This is great- I don't know why it doesn't have more views. Endless debate about the quality of the performances of all the other roles between the US and the West End casts; in this case, however, Jon takes the pronunciation, accent, and I daresay the performance in it's entirety to a new level. Well done!
@@RickM666 Eh I disagree with that as someone who's lived in both countries, however, posh accents like this do tend to be more nasal so it works well for me.
He is very good but no one can touch Johnathan Groff’s King George |||. Johnathan Groff’s is funny and a little accurate but Joe’s is more serious like King George would be and he looks more like King George |||
i mean this is the proms, so i doubt it would be seen as proper etiquette to go full comedy like i’ve heard he does in the shows. it’s ultimately a recital and showcase of musical talent rather than a performance
Jon Robyns gorgeous and articulated. A very steady well positioned and vocalized performance indeed. Michael Ball needs to get off the carbs and realize he is an annoying emcee. He should just stick to the singing. The outdoor audience was their usual embarrassing selves having a great time of it.
Gabvo Torres I saw him in UK and he is a lot more comedic in the actual show. And it was the first time I ever saw Hamilton, actually fully performed. So that’s probably why I prefer him. But both (and all the others) are amazing actors, so why should we compare them?
