Chloe, I have a 2019 TRD 4X4 Off Road and we seem to like all the same Tacoma and after market parts and accessories. For that reason, I am a big fan of your videos. The detail that goes into your presentations is better than 95% of all that I have watched. Thanks and keep them coming.
You should attend the Off Road Expo in Pomona, CA...every year in October! The best place to see all the suspension setups and mods in the industry! ✌️
I was planning on going this year, although because of work stuff and too much travel I was SO tired that weekend... but now I'm a little mad at myself haha. Next year!
The crisp horizontal headlight cutoff line visible when your original headlights were illuminating the wall was there for a reason. The high and blurred cutoff line for those new headlights could create dangerous glare for oncoming traffic. Liked the fire extinguisher quick release, though.
Been watching your channel while waiting for my Tacoma to finally arrive. Made a list of the items that you've recommended and reviewed. Now that my 2023 TRD Off-Road in Lunar Rock has arrived... I'm just waiting on my packages. Great Content and Amazing Videos!!! Keep It Up!!!
That was a great video Chloe. I added the seat jackers on the passenger seat and my wife had the same expression on her face as you did......wow. I have a 10 way so I'm not needing them. On the tailgate interior cover which is ridged ( not good for working on) I replaced mine with a flat aluminum powder coated one from Snail Armor, easy install and about $200.00 and good on the knees when climbing in the bed. Keep up the outstanding videos.
Thanks Chloe. These are right up my alley. Ordered tailgate bracket before I finished the video. Also, you gained a sub. 🤙 I’m new and with less than 300 miles in the odometer I have a lot of video to watch. 🤨
Hey Chloe👋. Always enjoy your content. Thanks for the Techron BOGO tip. I picked up a couple of high mileage bottles at our local Advance Auto Parts store. A patron leaving the store overheard me telling the Parts guy about your channel and the Techron bit and he came back and bought some Techron fuel cleaner too. 😆. Keep'm coming. 👍 And yes, TacomaWorld has a lot of great content. Maybe you can make the next South Padre Island Annual run .
I bought myself a 2022 Tacoma SR! I watched your videos a couple years ago and didn’t even own one. So now I’m back on your channel lol thanks for this video!
The advantage to the OEM cleats, though, is I can pass a rope through the tie downs in the corners of the bed and then pull it tight and cleat-hitch it to hold. Makes for quick and easy release. I wish someone would make machined cleats with horns!
Let’s get a second gen build in the works. There is some great stuff out there for the second gen and it would be interesting to see what you do with it.
I just purchased a new Tacoma: 2023 SR5 white, double bed, 4 cyl engine, 2WD. Just the basic Tacoma. I wanted the fog lights, so that is why I did not go with the SR trim. The OTD Price was lower than what CARMAX and CARVANA ask for a similar used one.
Nice video!! Tacoma world does have good stuff!! I'll have to make a video on my tacoma!! I have a Bowen custom bed!! I also had them do a bed compartment like the Ridgeline. I have my air compress in there and two extra barriers to run all my stuff!!
Nice collection of mods Chloe, Thanks for sharing. Yes, Tacomaworld is an awesome resource. Been there for just 2 years but it has been a very informative and helpful place with some truly wonderful people and moderators keeping it real.
Dave is a great guy and lives really close to me. I’ve sold a few things to him through TW. You need to check out the Z Precision Tacoma Cup Holder that fits up to a 40oz Hydroflask.
Nice job on the video and love the truck. Would like to do the headlights on mine at some point. Only mod so far is a custom pin stripe job. My teen driver scraped the side of a mini van in a parking lot.
Hi Chloe, what type of terminals did you use for your fuse/relay block project ? I’m trying to find the right crimper for it and not sure if it’s the weatherpack crimper ? Can you also tell me where you sourced the terminals or did it all come with the Truemods fuse block relay kit ? Thanks
Hi Chloe, quick question. Have you ever considered doing a DIY install of paint protection film for your Tacoma? Curious what your thoughts are on a DIY install.
I've thought about PPF (for the front--not sure if I would do the whole truck) and it sounds like something I would benefit from considering I come home with scratches from the trails. The price is a little steep though, so I'm not sure yet!
@@ChloeKuo nice! If you're open to applying PPF yourself, you can actually do it for pretty cheap - at least relative to what a professional shop would charge. On amazon you can find 3M paint protection film for well under $50 for a good size roll. I'm considering giving it a try on my ZR2. Worst case scenario the application goes horrible and I just remove it. But anyways, it seemed like something you'd be good at since you DIY a lot of things!
@@ChloeKuo we really like our goat armor BUT it doesn't cover everything and we normally sticky tape ours because we have long drives before we wheel and we are scared of it coming off lol
Hi Chloe I have a big problem. Nobody makes pinch weld covers for Tacoma side body pinch welds. If you know people tell them to get on it. 😊 thank youuuhoo.
Hey Chloe I don't know if you answer spectators questions but how much money have to put into your awesome Tacoma so far? I have a 2nd gen TRD Pro and you provide a great inspiration to ideas I can apply to my ride.
Chloe, have you installed any type of light for the glove box? I'm really surprised that there is no light in there. If you have jnstalled one. Let us know and if you haven't do you feel there needs to be one?
Hi Chloe, my Tacoma 2022 Off-Road doesn’t have Blind Spot Monitor nor the front camera. Please if you can tell me where I can get this important mode for me. My fist time owning a truck and still hard for me changing lanes and not having a front camera is a headache for me. Any feedback with information will be appreciated. Thanks
For all you Tacoma experts out there, does anyone happen to know if you can flat tow a Tacoma 4x4? I'm thinking of buying one and I want to be able to tow it behind a motorhome. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Chloe does your buddy Dave make a conversion harness kit for the OEM trucks of 2020 and up which mine is a 2022 what the headlights that you have make a conversion harness to where your DRLs can be Amber instead of white?
I used to design intakes for Airaid and K&N. The TRD intake is not a waste despite whatever people say on the internet. It’s a well designed, functional unit.
I know your an engineer and do not mean any disrespect. But, modern fuels have cleaners in them and manufacturers do not recommend additives. Maybe, if you have a very old car with some specific issue. But just saying..you have a new truck with both port and direct injection.
All you Taco owners, you know there are so my mods for these trucks that you will eventually spend more on mods than the truck originally costs. But heck it will look and be 😎
