@@asimp1778 Soc and Greasers are two opposite “social classes” you could say, they were in the book “The Outsiders” was which follows Ponyboy. I forget what the plot was about, I had to read it in grade 8. I remember me enjoying it though.
@@asimp1778 I’d check in with your local bookstores, if worse comes to worst, if you’re in Canada you should check “Indigo/Coles”. They are an extremely trustworthy seller that I’ve been using for years to get my books.
As you walk into the bar for your next shift you hear arguing you think to yourself "not this again". With all the arguing happening you slowly walk behind the counter to punch in. You look across the room where the arguing is happening and you believe you see someone that looked like someone you had a crush on in high-school, he/she/they makes eye contact with you across the room, you quickly put your head down and pretend as if your getting something, you say to yourself "holy.... it's him/her/them!" You see them come to the counter and ask "y/n?" You quickly pop out from the counter, " y-yes?" You say, "it's kinda crazy in here isn't it?" He/she/they say looking into your eyes, "y-yea I guess so" you say, stuttering. "Is that a jukebox?" He/she/they say, "yea it is... wanna play some music?"you say looking at the jukebox. "Duhh come on let's dance!" (And then that's when the music starts playing you know)
Okay, guys. Please, tell me I wasn't the only one who thought Pony and Johnny liked each other? I have had best friends, but none our interactions went like that! I just want to know I'm not crazy.
No one believes me. I told the facts but apparently its a *"bRoMaNcE"* i have best friends and romantic best friends and we never acted the way Johnny and Pony did.
YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY ONE when I watched the movie in seventh grade English everyone collectively agreed those two cared a little more for each other than just best friends do
tell me why I JUST finished reading The Outsiders and watching the movie for school and then this playlist pops into my recommended? AWHHWAHWGD Like I literally just finished (spoilers ahead) typing my eulogy project for Dally and Johnny! I came to youtube for a break and here this is
(I couldn't write one for a soc if I tried, bear with me): We were always fighting but went to to same school, things always got messy when we were lift in a room together but it was always different when I talked to their leader. "Hey ___~" The way my name made rolled off his/her/their tounge was satisfying, "Never call our leader by their name like that again." Hissed one of my members of my gang, "It's fine, it'e better for them to remember my name when we kick their ass." I said with a smug look making them roll their eyes. "Whatever makes you sleep at night, Princey/Princess/Your Highness." He/She/They fired back at me making me glare, he/she/they always had to make is clear that we had money which annoyed me. I was rarely seen without my gang and today was one of those days, I was walking throught the empty halls of the school as everyone was in class, before I could even reach mine I was pulled into the janitors closet and my back was slammed against the wall, "Dude, what the fu-" "Hey Princey/Princess/Your highness~" When I heard the familiar voice I groaned in annoyance, "(Lover), I'm not in the mood and I have a class to go to, and believe it our not I have perfect grades to uphold." I said hinting at my bad mood, I was about leave but I realized how close we actually *'Was this closet always this small?'* His/Her/Their hands next to my head, "Why am I even here? Give me one reason I should punch you right now" I asked him/her/them visibly not amused. "___, I'm not stupid. You're into me." He said in a sly tone making my face becomes painted red but caught my composure. "And what if you're wrong, why would be into you?" I said giving a playful glare, "Well I'm never wrong, and if you payed attention you'd know I'm invested in you." He/She/They said leaning into kiss me which I fully accepted. "Our gang is gonna freak when if they find out about this, this'll be our little secret."

when i was little before i read the book my ideal type was greaser boys with curly short black hair which makes no sense since most of them had long hair but eh
Yesssss. One of my favorite dynamics. He sat in the back of the detention hall, feet kicked up on the chair beside his own. Sure, getting into a physical altercation in the school parking lot before first period was not the best thing that he could of done, though if you asked him - the guy was fucking asking for it - except the price was his fist now sore. “Danger. The glasses.” The teacher demanded again, motioning like he had his own and was picking them from the side of his face and taking them off. To that of which he ignored and rubbed the pads of his fingers against his right cheekbone. Turning his eyes away he glanced at the graffitied face of the desk he’d chosen, the work was not his own, though the amount of profanity was impressive. He didn’t glance up as he heard the door open. The teacher spoke again. “Crosby, what did you do this time?” His tone was lighter than he knew when speaking to anyone else in the room, Justice knew why and that was because no one else that held a presence in the room was a non-delinquent east side Crosby. He flicked his brown eyes up to look at Cass. He was blanched as he handed over the slip, “I got it during practice.” Cassian answered before turning his warm gray eyes over to the rows of desks before finally catching the others face in the back corner of the class, instinctively walking over to him. “Hey Cass” he greater the amusement clear on his face. “Danger, move your legs.” he said, his frame was stiff, embarrassed that he was even here. Justice noticed it but he couldn’t help it, “nah. Don’t think I will, but you can step over me if you want.” Cassian gave him a begrudging look, asking him if he was serious, though he knew he was. Rolling his eyes he placed a hand on the back of the chair which Justice had his legs on and stepped over, barely saving himself as he tripped. Face flushed by the time he claimed the seat behind the man, “I hate you.” He glowered in a whisper in the mans ear. “Sorry doll, couldn’t help it.” “I think you could.” “Justice Danger. Take the sunglasses off before I do and you get another week of detention.” The teacher said again. Justice ignored it but Cassian didn’t. “So I heard you got into a fight this morning.” “You didn’t see?” “Unlike /some/ people I was in class.” He shifted closer “so are you wearing your glasses because of it?” Justice not once turned or shifted himself to look at the man, “can’t I just want to wear sunglasses?” “You could but I know you don’t without a reason.” He said, and for the first time the other shifted in his seat to look behind him at Cassian. As if it were permission the boy reached over and took them off, “Cass...” Justice said weakly as the other revealed the black eye. It couldn’t have been more than a fistful of seconds that they were just looking at each other, Cassian not given the time to touch the bruising skin on the mans face before they were interrupted. “Danger, the glasses.” The teacher said again, “Actually,” as Cassian gingerly placed the glasses back peaking over Justice’s shoulder at the teacher. “Mr. Price, Justice has a black eye, can’t he wear the glasses?” “... I suppose that could solicit some leniency.” Mr. Price replied reluctantly before sparing a glance at the sparsely populated desks, eventually turning his attention to the papers he’d intended on grading during the next hour. Justice glanced between the two, turning behind him once again to look at brunet “thanks” Cassian shook his head, “it’s no big deal,” he said. “Also..” he leaned closer, knee touching the other through the part in the chair, The peripheral movement to Cassian made a tingling sensation shoot up the boys spine, he leaned back on the metal connecting the chair to the desktop, crossing his arms and turning more into the other. At the newly gained full attention of the other Cassian glanced away his tone growing just barely audible, “... are you doing anything after this?” He asked, sparing a glance over at Justice who was gazing at him. He raised a brow, settling more into his seat “Why?” Cassian bound his hands together, digits fidgeting. “/Well/ if you aren’t doing anything later.. we could maybe go do something together.” “Are you asking me on a date Crosby?” He asked teasingly, not expecting to see the crease in the others brow and warmth traveling up from his neck. “Maybe I am.”
@@jaimelee414 Oh wow 🥺 I really appreciate that you look out for my comments! So if people ask I always write more scenes. For some of the comments I make I actually have stories in place but sometimes I just make them up for the playlists. With this one Justice is a character I’ve had for a year, Cassian was just made up this morning, but their story is something I’m developing more of now... Does that make sense?
@@jaimelee414 I’ll think about it, those three stories were fun to write but their directions a little hazy for me right now. Definitely will consider it though!
@@ringoforgot Sorry, I do have a Wattpad but I don’t feel comfortable in my stories enough to post them, I’d consider it if I was finished and in the editing process of one but that won’t be anytime soon I fear. Currently I only post stories on the Writer’s Club Amino.
Lucy stared at the Soc girl who always maintained her good grades. Her nose was always buried in a book one way or another. This girl’s name was Allison. Or Ally for short. But Lucy didn’t call her either of those things. “Hey, are you just going to pretend I’m not here?” Lucy asked with a dull expression. Her chin resting on the palm on her hand. Ally didn’t say anything. “Hey, I’m talking to you princess.” No reply. Lucy got to her feet and walked behind the girl. She peered over Ally’s shoulder trying to figure out what was so intriguing about this book. It was just words on a page. Why did Ally like reading it so much? It made Lucy kind of jealous. How could a book steal all of Ally’s attention from her? Fine. Two could play at that game. Lucy leaned down and started to kiss the girl’s neck. The socialite wasn’t impressed. Lucy’s patience began to wear thin. “If you don’t give me attention right now I swear to god I’m going to make you regret it later princess.” She warned. The pretty girl snapped her book shut and turned to look at Lucy. “What do you want? What’s so important that I need to stop reading my book for?” Ally demanded with an attitude. Lucy smiled and kissed her forehead. “I love you.” She whispered in her ear before leaving. Ally’s face was in permanent shock as her face started to heat up. In an attempt to cover the blush, she quickly picked the book back up and started reading. Trying to desperately shake those words out of her head. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. She smiled to herself softly whispering four words. “I love you too.”
This reminds me HARD of The Outsiders, I've read it so many times and I cry everytime with Johnny and Dallas, I never want it to end but it does, Thank you for making this playlist
She was beauty. She was grace. She was badass; rare in a girl. And she was a Soc. High class. Rich. Better. Better than a lowly greaser like me. I was 'White trash with greasy hair'. And I hated it. I wished she would think of me as more than just my social status, more than just my name and face. I wanted her to remember me for my personality. I wanted her to hear my name and think; 'Oh, he's the sweet one like no other.' But she didn't. She didn't even know me. And it was probably better that way---for me to have an unrequited love tied to my best friend's sister. They weren't even blood related---her family had adopted him. Recently, too. But he was still protective over her like they were real siblings, nearly murdering any guy that dared look in her general direction. That's a lot coming from a sweet guy like him. My hope is, that someday, I won't have to hide it anymore. That her and I could be together, and she would love me. But that was just a fantasy. A mere fairytale I had come up with. And as fairytales always go... ...The queen never falls in love with the jester. . . . . . hope this was alright :) i did the opposite pov on the twin playlist to this! the full story is up on my wattpad: TalWrites1408 and my tumblr: insomestrangersbasement

I read the book in middle school .. and I have the movie on dvd ..👌🏾 I love the outsiders .. my fav characters are dallas, pony boy, Johnny, two bit and darry 😆😊
As soon I saw the tilde I just knew it was from the outsiders which is a really good book so this is surprising that I someone got inspired by the outsiders
I read the outsiders in ly own time at school not for a subject but I'm addicted yesterday we were doing a quiz so I tried to convince my teacher the outsiders was geography related lmao
Theres also a movie, tho I'd recommend you watch that after you read the book because it's not nearly as good as it could be unless you've read the book.
