@@GuyWithBallsOnArm Plastic water bottles are not lowering your testosterone. It has been proven over and over again that the phytoestrogens (that most likely are not leeching into 99% of your water bottles) are not enough to disrupt your hormone levels or production.
I felt the same. I took then took 30 seconds to do a little bit of math to calculate my daily needs, heres the formula 1. Divide your body weight by 2.2 to get your weight in KG 2. Divide your KG weight by 10 3. Multiply that number by 325 to calculate your optimal daily water intake.
I tell people this all the time, water is the most beneficial substance there is. Its good for your muscles, ligaments, joints, bones, skin, hair, organs, bowel movements, immune system, brain, cognitive function, mental sharpness, energy levels, hormone production, etc Every fibre and aspect of your being is directly effected by how much water you drink.
I'm a person that has chronic dehydration. Even 1 litre of water in the morning straight away is not enough for me to pee at all in hours. It is only after I drink another 1 litre in the afternoon that I start to pee. Most of the time when you feel really tired, think back when's the last time you drink water and how much you consumed. You're probably dehydrated, not tired.
i feel your problem, but i got another...even in the morning without taking a sip of liquid on purpose and and after going to the toilet I sweat terribly, just while I go to the place of sending to work, my back sweats instantly and the clothes stick to the wet back and sweating starts even more, as a result, the whole back is wet like after cross-country , and I just walked about 200 meters, and heavy sweat does not depend on the environment, even if it is about or less than 20 degrees outside, there is no sun and it is windy, my body seems to be saying: dude, I have to do this, I have to sweat so much that you feel as uncomfortable as possible in society. Surprisingly, when I am at home, there is no such severe sweating.
Properly hydrating also helps muscle recovery as this water will be drawn to your muscles; relieving some of the soreness and fatigue in your muscles caused by lactic acid.
@@BoredCapturerit’s most likely the PEDs and the dehydration from creatine. Back when I used to take creatine, it would suck up my water like crazy and I would have to drink like 2+ gallons of water each day.

And lastly, real man don't drink out of plastic bottles, because real man have drinkable water in their natural environment, we don't let fake capitalist feed us with plastic, that's for people who want to die and real men don't want to see their friends dead so we strive for a better world.
I’m glad you talked about this, I train every week day and try to get at least 1 gallon, if not a gallon and a half every day. I never have hydration issues and rarely have headaches. Do it!
Hell yeah, esp those of us in the desert. And those homies who are exposed to the elements are in even higher need, keep that in mind when you see some people standing in the median flying a sign as you're driving to the gym. show some love and hand them a bottle of water.
It's a mixed bag for sure, but I've had plenty of homies say yes to a snack/water. Never forget they're still human and deserve to be treated as equals who just have it harder than us.
Every job I’ve ever had, my colleagues have had headaches or really tired but slept enough. Whenever I asked “when’s the last time you drank water?” it was always “a few days ago?”, everybody always had a soft drink with lunch, and it took a lot of convincing to tell them to just down a 330ml glass of water, most never would. Drove me crazy to see everybody doing that to themselves.
Few days ago? Really? That's is not normal at all... that's mentally ill, no offend, but that's, literally insane... i never heard this before... but yeah... i understand you... a lot of people are not normal these days.

This video literally saved my life. For the last year I've been struggling to stay awake during the day, feeling very fatigued. While exercising my reps would plateau, even regress. But after I realized I wasn't drinking enough water, these problems all got better. Thank you so much.
Noel i wish to thank you. Very often i go into a dark place that is hard to get out of. Sometimes it feels impossible. Very rarely do i hear the words "I'm proud of you, you're doing great!" And maybe i don't deserve to hear them because i don't do much. But anytime i see your videos, i feel like you are my inspiration to do good and to go and try to be my best self, and i hear you telling me you are proud of me. You are such an inspiration. Thank you, truly. I'm on a long path of getting into a better headspace, and you make it so much easier. Thank you, Noel, truly, thank you.
Fruit. Eat your water. Your cells retain water WAY better when you eat it... aka watermelon, cucumber, pears, kiwi, pineapple. You can't hold onto the the water you drink without minerals. Minerals and electrolytes allow the cells to hold water and plus. Fructose is turned into ATP or adenosine trophosphate AKA ENERGY!!!! Through the help of mitochondrial cells. Electrolytes come from fruits especially. They get electricity in the roots from beneath the ground through minerals in the soil. And they get the sun above. Light. Electricity + light= electro and lights. Aka electrolytes. If you want to hydrogen. Minerals + electrolytes + sea salt + fruit waters. Blend your own pineapple!!!
Do not worry brada. I've been in a couple of dark places and my past and present is also full of darkness, currently in a blackhole of life literally. Nothing can change it unless we try to ourselves, self pitying and getting pity from others just keeps u in an endless cycle of pity party. Lots of people talk about physical health and appearance but nobody talks about mental heath. Its sad that we live in a world where nobody can understand us and only can get little push from them(loved ones, family & friends) then you are on ur own from there. Keep getting up no matter how much life knocks you down, lets have the courage to get up to see another day.
You're so right!!! Water is not enough on its own. Not without cellular keys. Not without that knowledge. Fructose is best though because it goes the lipid route and bypasses the pancreas. It's the only sugar that does that. There's maltos, dextrose, pintos, glucose, and Fructose. The bacteria love it too. The good ones. They can more easily deliver to Fructose to the cells to convert into ATP Fruits have 12,000 angstroms of energy A lemon has the wattage of a AA battery. We are electromagnetic, electrical, electric, so we need electrolytes. That's why they call us a soul. We are solar beings, with a solar plexus, living in a solar SYSTEM. We ARE a solar system. Let's go!!! Fruit. Eat your water. Your cells retain water WAY better when you eat it... aka watermelon, cucumber, pears, kiwi, pineapple. Hydration is so important!! I have POTS which limits how much water my body retains. I now weight lift and making sure I have enough water is critical. Not only does it help my lifts but I don’t get as dizzy and fatigued. Also having a fry mouth just drives me crazy. I have a 64 ounce metal water bottle that I got for like $20 and it has helped a lot to make sure I’m drinking enough!
For anybody that still hasn’t figured it out… 325 mL/10 kg of body weight equates to .498 oz/lb of body weight. Basically just divide your weight (in lbs) in half and drink that much water in ounces. Example: if you weigh 200 lbs, drink 100 ounces of water.
At least Texas has a degree of humidity. Arizonans have dry heat over 120° on average in the summer. I can easily drink over 300 ounces of water in the summer and not have to pee once in an eight hour period at work because I sweat so much.
Totally agree, my limit for staying hydrated is just under that, don’t know if it has to do with the generally cold climate here, maybe. But in the summer, i add 1,5 liters (1500ml) on top of that, to go above that limit, it is always enough no matter my personal output. Then again, i’m not a marathon runner or anything like that. Just gym and at least 8000 steps every day.
Dude I can confirm this. The other day I forgot my water bottle (during leg day as well) and my strength decreased a lot, so I got a lot of unusual quad cramps. Bring your bottles guys.
Noel.....I know you may never see this....but I just want you to know that you gave me the determination to start fixing my body...I used to be self conscious about my man boobs *puberty* and I never did anything about them but after awhile and watching you along with a few other gave me the determination to better myself....thank you
On the opposite hand, drinking too much water can be harmful if you don't have enough electrolytes. When I started working out I would get lightheaded, dizzy, nauseous, and have no strength. I was drinking way too much water since I was out of shape and washing out my electrolytes.
It’s so true I keep harping on my friends about this they usually have excuses like oh my coffee & beverages have water, then they have symptoms of dehydration & swear to everyone they “drink lots of water”.
Water is not hydrating on its own. That's why people who "drink 2-3 litres per day" and carry huge bottles etc mostly just pee it out. To understand why, you need to know how water is actually absorbed. Water is absorbed about 97-98% in the small intestine (after the stomach and large intestine). So if you have water with a meal, it will get stuck for a lot longer in the stomach and large intestine before reaching the small intestine, slosh around creating potential GI distress. Conversely, if you drink water straight up, it will pass right through the small intestine because there is nothing in the water for the small intestine to absorb. That's why you just pee it out instead except for a few percentages. You can literally drink 2 litres per day and still be dehydrated (especially if you exercise and replenish with plain water, that can be dangerous if you exercise for longer than an hour). To get water to the small intestine and stay there until absorbed, you need to introduce a small amount of carbs and sodium (if you are doing a marathon length workout, then also potassium). Not too many carbs so that it stays in the large intestines too long, and not too few that you pee it out. So, plain water can't enter your blood-barrier without two things: sodium and a carrier like glucose or sucrose. Plain water will never go straight into the blood barrier, which is why so little of it is absorbed. When we work out it's a lot more important because we also sweat out a lot of sodium (and a little potassium), and with plain water only replenish the water component. This according to a PhD specialising in hydration I was lucky to learn from.
@@williambarrantes1674 500-750ml (16-20 murican wizards of Oz) plain water One teaspoon (real) maple syrup (because it has both fructose and glucose, which is awesome for absorption) 1/16th teaspoon or 200-250mg of the plainest salt (sodium) you can get at the supermarket (iodinised is fine). If you easily get indigestion, then you can skip salt (sodium chloride) and get Sodium Citrate instead. Regular salt can be more difficult to digest for some if not through food, so if you're sensitive then sodium citrate (aka citric acid) is great because it's derived from lime juice which is much more bioavailable.
@@TheDiddler69-U by "stay in your body", I assume you mean be absorbed through the blood barrier. From what I remember, Gatorade has too much carbs and would stay in your large intestines for too long for that reason, less efficiently absorbed but probably more absorbed than clear water. Something with slightly less sugar would do better. Like ORS tablets.
I'm showing this to my husband. I drink a gallon and some change a day, he drinks maybe a glass. I even bought him a cute little matching jug and everything🥺
A tough one for hardgainers is drinking it around meals, but it’s imperative to help restore electrolytes. In this case consider an electrolytes supplement for the times to parse them out when youre not super full
As a person who knows what’s up, drink when you are thirsty as your body was meant to function except for when you work out in which you need to drink regularly and a lot.
You drink when your thirsty is correct anybody who thinks you should never feel thirsty is wrong 'your body will tell you what and when you need it, you dont need to consume three litres everyday its nonsense
As a man working out at home i can confirm this is true when not drinking water or if you drink as little as 1 cup of water when you exercise your mind would feel dizzying and your weight and lift will be more fewer than your average Lifts and Weights

Always drink about 1 L of water about 30 minutes before going to the gym. You feel fresher and more motivated, have more strength and a way better pump! And most important if you are consuming creatine this is a must! otherwise the creatine will have NO!! effect..
A liter 30 minutes before your workout seems like a recipe for disaster. I agree that water before a workout is good but a liter seems like a bit much.
The optimal water consumption actually should be individually seen because everybody is different. The 2 or 3 l rule is just a generalisation. So I think it's important what you actually feel good for you and just following something very general thing. Still, 1,5 sounds low, but 3 might be too much. Or optimal, you have to decide that.
@@LifeisajokeERYou drink 11L per day? Lol i dont believe you, that's way too absurd. Do you know you can die from over hydration? Your brain expands form excess water and causes brain damage and even death in severe cases.
Just incase if some people don’t know, just drinking water genuinely helps you lose weight. I did not exercise for a long time, and I was kinda fat until I started drinking gallons of water (or 6 bottles of water) every day.
