This is a God send, thanks for doing this brew its inspiring as hell I think after watching this I'm ready to take it on and try body work! I know it takes alot of time and effort to do series like this would love to see more keep up the awesome work!
A lot of people are intimidated by body work, but it really is easy, very time consuming and requires a bit of patience but it's not hard at all. Quick tip when you remove the door moldings warm them up with a little heater for about 10-15 mins before you pull them off, it helps a lot
Awesome video, it shows that body work isn't crazy hard, but takes a crap ton of time and patience as well, everyone is doing a awesome job, looking good guys.
Watching your channel has given me confidence to do the body work my car needs. The main thing is "time" , having a Lil one which I can't wait til he can be outside with me doing the car thing. Keep up the great work brother. Foxbody for life.
What a coincidence, I'm in the process of doing this myself. I have too many layers of paint so its a heat gun/razor blade slow action however a clean process. Are you guys putting the trim back on the doors?
I’ve been a subscriber since you had less than 1000 subscribers it’s awesome to see how your channel is grown and honestly you deserve so much more credit than what you get. Your videos are awesome they’re on point I do miss the old videos when you first started because the music mix was awesome, but I totally get why I can’t do that anymore. Keep up the great work Boss hope to see you at 100k soon
I clicked on this vid to catch up from before and It looked like he was bondo filling the gas cap filler door, til I remembered the door is on the passenger side.🤦🏻♂️
Where did you get that block, that you are using? Also what type of water sprayer are you using? Please send links if you can so I can use the links to buy some of the stuff that I need and help the channel. Thank you for your time and all the help that you give us.
I'm ready for the body work, but truly don't feel comfortable trying final spray, but in doing all the body work myself I'll be saving a lot of money, Thanks fellas
I'm sure that fox is going to look sweet when u 2 get finished.. by the way thank you for the invite but a couple of grandkids was at the house. Maybe I'll get another chance..
My nuts are big. I recently dove head 1st into body work on my 87 coupe. Going Team Z front and k member. I'm learning a ton from your channel and NeoMustang. Thanks Brew2L fam! 🔥 💯 🎉
@Brew2l - First thanks for these videos! Because of your videos im looking to attempt my bodywork and paint myself. I know you love the Kiwami4 for base and clear but what are you using for laying down primer? Is that the Harbor Freight gun? I am taking the car down to bare metal (not sure if that makes a difference) Thank you in advance and keep pushing us all to get things done and even trying it ourselves!
@@BREW2LFOXBODY I appreciate it greatly! I only have a 30gal husky compressor so I think I may have to do a panel at a time with the kiwami4. Hopefully it's enough air but may need a new compressor! Haha
Hey brew2l love the videos going to be doing mine I was wondering what brand/type of primer were you spraying and was it just one type and same with paint and clear
@@BREW2LFOXBODY Thanks for the response BREW I just wanted to say I appreciate how down to earth you are, and caring you are to the fox community. Your videos give me motivation to keep going, hopefully when I get my fox out to some gatherings hopefully I can meet ya, keep the videos coming I appreciate BREW2L
Bodywork is easy. I’ve been doing full restorations of 60s GM and Mopar musclecars for almost 30 years, including body and paint. That’s the relaxing part.
Brew arn Chris (infamous) are my two favorite channels I'm hoping to see these guys at Motor City Fox Fest this year!...my wife passed away unexpectedly due to complications from a severe car accident and I've been trying to get my fox ready for the show but it's hard with unexpected funeral expenses but ill be there in her honor....she loved mustangs just as much as I do and I'll be there with my car no matter what....I live about 7-10 mins from the show just hope it isn't burning hot outside...but great job Brew!...you have bigger balls than me like I said in the live chat...I'm scared of bodywork....I'll wrench on anything but when it comes to bump and paint I'll leave it to the professionals lol!
Being nosey. Who is Andrew to you? Brother, nephew, friend? I think it’s kool you always have him on the Chanel. Love seeing the younger guys digging these cars
Hell yeah brother thank you this is what I needed I got my fox Walmart primared out and didn't know that you need a better primer I'm goin to finish it forsure after these tips because black shows is what I heard and I Want to make it pretty decent for my first paint job
You can prime the whole car with 1 part spray can primer but it needs to be done in very light coats. Before you spray the car you need to let the primer sit dry out (in the sun is best imo) for a couple of days to help reduce the likelihood of it shrinking up on you later after you paint the car.
I don't know what brand that wing is, but it looks like an unlimited products wing which their stuff is absolute junk but usable with a lot of work. Great video as always.
I can do bodywork i worked in a body shop for a few months my boss was terrible with the sanding because sometimes i couldn't see what he was telling me to smooth down i learned to do everything but i wouldn't do it for anyone but myself so i can do it to my own standards and comfort
Great job on this video and teaching a dying art for backyard builders. The amount of money saved by doing the work yourself is insane. Can you do a video showing what tools and blocks you are using? Appreciate these videos. We are about to start building a Fox Body for my youngest son.
I appreciate the hell out of this, I have been thinking hard about doing all this stuff myself on my car and I'm pretty terrified, lol but I think I can do it
