hey, sis!! so let's talk about our "tests" from God. Today's question: what was on the other side of one of the tests the Lord has brought you through? whether the test was years ago, a week ago, or this morning (lol), let us know in the comments below how you saw God show up through it! For me: one of my most recent tests revolves around God *repeatedly* showing me through the relationships closest to me (my husband and sister) that it's okay to be wrong and when I am wrong, it's not a reflection of my identity, but simply that i *did* something wrong. It's been humbling but on the other side of my test of humbly owning my part and honestly, my "ugly" in a sense, He's given me FREEDOM. I've realized that for a lot of my life, i've been afraid to make mistakes because i felt like when i did, i didn't just make a mistake, I *WAS* the mistake. But God has been revealing to me that this is a lie. I've also gotten to experience God's love for me through my husband and sister. it's been challenging okay, but also so so sweet!!

my test is now the relationship with my boyfriend who had an accident with an electronic motor. The Test is if I stay faithful to him till forever. In the good and the bad. I believe that we will marry one day❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Love this, and so relatable. Similarly having this as well, just the Lord revealing the blind spots in me and really my personality in relation to others often time, and recognizing in the exposure there is ALSO profound grace, LOVE, redemption. And profound freedom like you said. Reminded of how God still clothed Adam and Eve when they felt exposed (and exposed themselves even in and to sin) God was still there and very much still loving them/ us! Thinking of the song, Known by Tauren Wells. Oh the joy to be fully known and loved by God and have that intimacy with our savior. 🥹💕🙏🏽

I think sometimes we see big physical things (healing, houses, spouses, money, promotions) as blessings after a test. Those are, but sometimes all you have on the other side of a test is a greater intimacy with God, and a faith worth more than gold. That fortifies you more for future testing than any physical blessing ever could!

I agree so much with you on this. I got passed on for a promotion that I truly deserved at work. I was so disappointed I went to the Lord in prayer. This praying for God to wipe my tears has led me to a place of greater intimacy with God that I would have never reached if I didn't get denied that promotion. I keep laughing at the devil because what he intended for evil God has turned around for my good. I know God's preparing me for better, but even if he doesn't, I will still worship & put my trust in him only.

Hey sis! I have a testimony on obedience - So sometime in 2018, I had an accounting professional exam to sit for in my country (Nigeria) which consists of 5 papers. I had studied for them and went to classes for about 2 months. A day before sitting for the first 2 papers, I had planned to stay up all night to revise but God said to REST. I found it very difficult to do that but I obeyed and went to bed. I kid you not, the following morning, I was revising about 2 hours before the start time and I began to hear a voice say to me turn to this page and this page and read. Exactly what I read in those 2 hours of revising came out in the exam!!! When I got home and I told my mum she was so happy and surprised at what God had done. I had the next 2 papers the following day and the same thing happened!! the last paper was meant to be a case study exam and I was so scared because I wasn't sure if I wanted to even write it, I tried staying up all night and the Lord wasn't having it. He instructed me again to REST and told me this time that the specific topic I had studied for was going to be the one tested in the case study exam and I shouldn't bother revising other topics and so it was!! exactly what He said was true. I cried tears of Joy for days. 2 months after, my results got released and I passed all 5 papers with the 5th paper being my highest score!!! Till today I think of that experience with God! God is Good, intelligent, Faithful, sweet, amazing!!! and truly obeying Him is the key to BREAKTHROUGH 🎉🎉🎉

Your obedience is required! I obeyed God when he told me to withdraw my teaching contract back in March after turning it in for the 23-24 school year. I had no idea what was next, but I did what he asked, found out we were expecting our 3rd child and first boy!! He continues to provide and surpass my expectations all for his glory. I’m just so grateful he trusts me to trust him. This was so good sis.

On the other side of my test was being healed from 20 yrs of Systemic Lupus, and a Kidney transplant after 1&1/2 on dialysis. To God be ALL the GLORY. This was a very humbling experience.

What was on the other side was…my daughter. I had a crazy turn of events in my pregnancy and was told to be induced but she was so small she wouldn’t be able to survive. She was still thriving in the womb so I went against medical advice and said I’ll deal with it how God wants me to. I’ll let nature run its course if I need to. She told me she would leave the papers for me to sign. I told her not to bother because I’m not signing them. Fast forward. We made it to viability with 2 rounds of steroids in for her lungs and she was born 23w 5d. We had a pretty uneventful NICU stay. Because of my faith in God she’s now a very healthy 3 year old with no issues other than attitude. Glory be to God

@@sanaishere18 i stopped trying to achieve balance and just did what was most important at the time. Each semester brings different challenges and you just learn to pivot with things come up. Commit to a scheduled time with God and change it as your needs change

God has called me in to a 40 day time of abiding. Day 1, He said to remove the distractions. I had to send messages to people that I could not engage with for 40 days! , come of my socials, protect my ear and eye gates on the content I was consuming and fast. I am 5 days a way from completion and 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 All is can say is God is truly amazing, real, kind, compassionate,loving❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ The first day I sent out the messages, literally the next day, all of the heaviness I was feeling left. Over the last 35 days I’ve been growing and glowing. My Godly community is growing , I’ve joined 2 ministries at church that I had NEVER even considered to serve in , and new opportunities are lining up for me at work. These 40 days have not been easy, But with God all things are possible. I am excited about my future with Him!

@@Girlsttal2 He is definitely going to move, Sis! Removing whatever consumes your focus so you can focus on Him is a game changer! Even with your thinking. My thoughts get BUSY in this time, but submit those thoughts to God. “Change the channel” if you will and fix your thoughts on Him. Go into worship, play music , read a verse, or go into a quick prayer. Even if it just , God , thank you for taking hold of my thoughts and I submit them to you, Amen! So, God gave me a dream that was kind of scary when I was pregnant (about a week and a half from delivery) with our son. In the dream, there was something around his face, and he couldn’t breathe. When it came time to deliver God spoke a word to me, “Have a C-section.” It wasn’t part of my plan. I didn’t want to, but I knew God said it and therefore knew I had to. I told the dr’s and nurses and many tried to talk me out of it. Even in the OR just before surgery the dr questioned me. Afterward, our healthy baby boy was delivered and the dr looked at me and said she was so glad we had a c-section because the umbilical cord was wrapped around my son’s neck twice and if he had been delivered otherwise, it would have killed him. So, I have had many other times God guided/protected me, but this one literally saved my son’s life. TRUST HIM. ♥️

This is me currently. When i am tempted to lose hope and feel discouraged i go to my Father and tell Him exactly how i feel. I already told my last employer i would not be returning and to most people that does not make sense but faith hardly makes sense. Even if i know this though, i am tempted to feel impatient and lack trust in who God is. I am trying to wait well! I think there is more than one test here- patience and trusting God. Trusting Him for exactly who He is- Provider and the source of all things. I hope everything worked out for you!

Years ago when I was going through great trials move over it was always teaching me to trust Him. At the time I would find pennies. And on all currency is the inscription In God We Trust. So whenever I would find a penny I'd pick it up and it would be a reminder that he's thinking of me and telling me to trust Him. Now I'm going through a challenging season again where I need to trust Him.

If yall only knew these tests are crazy. I left my job and lost my business, I had to trust that the Lord would provide for me. Months ago I wrote him a letter about my salary expectations on my next job , terms, etc. Soon i will be signing my contract for that job. TO JESUS BE THE GLORY. He is my best friend.

Hi there! I’m newly getting into my Bible and relationship with the Lord, Jesus Christ. I grew up “Catholic” , got baptized when I was little but hardly went to Church and stopped going around 10. Around 19 I got into the “New Age” things and was in it for about 4 years. I’m now 23 and have seen how deceived I was. I really became Lost in these years. I believe Jesus has called me and made me aware of Salvation. I truly repent from ever getting into those things, and I know I need deliverance. I thank God for opening my spiritual eyes for revealing the TRUTH to me, and here we are thinking we’re “WOKE” in the new age teachings. I prayed to the Lord to give me PATIENCE AND LOVE to properly share his word, since I am trying to speak and share without irritation or frustration; when people argue against the Bible/ God’s word.

There’s a book that I think you might find helpful. It’s called Deliverance from Demonic Covenants and Curses by Rev. James Solomon. I got delivered from New age stuff as well. God let me know what I needed to remove from my life and I believe that He made me aware of that book with the info and prayers in it to help in my deliverance and walk moving forward. Also, read the Bible daily. I hope this helps! I’ll be praying for you too!

Obedience is required. i remember in 2022, my final medical year , while praying at night th HolySpirit told me , asked me what score did i wanted as a final percentage? i told the Lord 71% . He told me the condition was to pray every night between midnight till 2 am . i obeyed ,two nights before i start, the Holy Spirit asked me again what i wanted and i said 74%. GUESS WHAT????? i got 74% , i remember telling God thank you quietly. now i am passing through some tests but I know God has a special plan for me and I will thank Him

As a guy. I needed to hear this. I currently been going through a lot since June. I lost my job and been looking for a new job in the career that I want. God been testing me with this new job that I’m not to fond of but I’m still going to do it because I need the money. Not only that I got a ticket that I got to go to court for that require me to get a lawyer which I don’t have the money for. I pray and give everything to the lord and hope I make through. I’ve been frustrated for years because my husband and I have tried to conceive and I’ve gone through two cycles but none successful. We have been married 11 years and have been trying for about 9 years. I feel so defeated some days and scared that this might not happen for us but God keeps reminding me that delayed is not denied. He constantly sends me signs and answers that this blessing is on its way. So I believe that supernatural blessings can still occur even though some days I feel like this may not happen, GOD will always prevail. I’m in my season of isolation and I’m giving him the glory though it all. I will eventually have an update on this blessing, I’m sure.

I experienced the same. I took herbs and prayed. I did a testimony and soon as I have time I will come back and edit with more info. I now have 3 kids after being told it may be impossibe. God gave me a dream and he came through. Faith and some lifestyle changes that God led me to had me so fertile. Im praying for you.

Monday evening I finally felt like I let go of what God was telling me to let go of! The test of listening to him or letting go of a “situationship” that I prayed the Lord to move & help take the desire out of my heart. Literally the NEXT DAY he opened up the opportunity to speak at a Women’s Conference that I have prayed about speaking at for over 1 year!!!! Gotta close the doors on the past to walk into the open doors of the future! I’m so thankful and grateful and excited to give him ALL THE GLORY! He does answer prayers! He is so good 🥰

One of the tests that came to my mind that God really assisted me is through physical and emotional pain. I kept praying, being obedient and having faith. He really healed me emotionally, physically and mentally. I truly appreciate your word sis. Thank you 🙌🏼

Just to name a few examples of what was on the other side of my act of obedience; On the other side was, a beautiful new car, apartment that I'd prayed for and didn't think I'd qualify for, healing and restoration for my Mother and husband during COVID-19 pandemic; both were in really bad shape until I began to trust him in ways I hadn't previously! He has done so many marvelous things in my life due to obedience, sacrifice and faith! He can do "ALL THINGS"!!!

Whew you are saying a word. My test came but I went against Gods will and couldn’t get peace and removed myself. God asked me to step out on Faith to do something new and I’m trusting him to do it with me not afraid and obedient this time ❤️

Well I left a relationship that wasn't God's Will for me & for making the sacrifice He blessed me! Funny enough, He gave me two books for my departure, the first "True Life in God" Messages, which I received praying in a Church in Cairns and then a book "Walking with God" which is a summary of Scriptures, so both of these have been very important in my walk with Christ! Currently going through a test again so times are tough, but awaiting the Lord's healing/salvation/redemption!👍 (ties in with the Scripture passage you spoke on!)

Thank you, sis!! I’m currently going through my next test. My corporate job has come to an end after almost six years. My test was to stay with all of the uncertainties, lack of job security, unhealthy stress or move on to my next steps in my career. I must be honest, this was a very hard decision for me to make and accept. Instead of me losing all control or feeling so out of place, I prayed on it and put my faith in God. ❤

God has called me over the past few years to remain faithful to him during a very difficult and unexpected time in my marriage. It has been hard as things have not gone the way I think they should go. Prayers that I expected God to answer in a certain way and in a certain time aren't being answered the way I want. But through it all God has been whispering in my ear " Trust me." It's hard not to trust my circumstances tell me is true but I am learning and growing and through it all I see how God is perfecting and maturing me.

A lot of money was on the other side of my tests. I have never been good with money, or healthy eating habits, and God used both of these to test if I could handle the money I need for a long trip. I'm a student so I kept making excuses like "everyone my age spends this way, eats this way, indulges this way," but God wants me to be different and I wanted to be healthier both financially and physically. So, I am making better spending and eating habits and a lot of money just keeps coming in. I have received 4 scholarships, and a large sum of money from financial aid and family. He knows I need to be better in order to handle this money well. So, Glory to God's perfect timing.

I have recently been believing for God to provide me with my own flat, and today I received some news which has made the process seem less than what God has put in my heart. I believe I'm in my test currently, it's been 5 years since I've finished college and going for 2 years I've been unemployed but for the very first time I'm pushed to make notes in the subject area I'll teach when I do land my job...I started creating teaching notes that will be re-used throughout my career there without any knowledge of getting this job right away...I've always had this idea of doing it but I just felt a need to just get it done now....I'm doing it in faith...I will get this job and my notes will be used...this I pray in Jesus name..Amen 🙏

I was invited to Go on a cruise but i was hesitant about going because I wasn't sure that I was financially able to and I waited til the last minute to pay it off but i was praying and i just kept telling the Lord that I will trust him in the midst of the situation and step on faith. God worked it out my job approved my time off and made a way for the finances to be there!!! Thank you Jesus

Whenever temptation comes ask the Holy Spirit of God to provide a way to escape and to uproot the seed of lust, fast and pray and Ask Jesus to heal that area in your heart. Thank you for the opportunity to share! God has been showing me that he doesn't need money (the world's currently) to meet my needs. I am in a financial mess right now and He has been guiding me through it so gently by showing me how to economize on what I already have from meal prepping to creating delicious dishes with the ingredients I have on hand to also changing my palate to enjoy homemade food, instead of eating out. I am so humbled and grateful for where He has led and is leading me.

My obedience recently has shown me how true to His word our God is! Instead of trying to do things my own way, I let go and decided to rest in His promise to provide for me. It's been about a week and already he is proving that I don't have to worry about a thing. I pray that I can continue to follow His voice and eliminate the distractions that have hindered me. Ohhh I’ve been tested but my most recent one was saying no to someone I could see myself being in a relationship with. I can’t lie I still struggle because I just want to know why especially when we have so much in common, the chemistry is there too but the moment they said let’s actually talk God was like nope and I was shook and hurt still am but I have to keep listening and obeying because I know what’s on the other side is better than I can imagine. This test been rough but I will stand ten toes down and let my faith and obedience help and guide me through.

I obeyed God when I learned to accept the rejections to jobs that I’ve no business applying to anymore. I’m pivoting from ~10 years of doing nursing into event management. It has been challenging but I know that my breakthrough is near. Question for anyone who can provide an answer. Keep in mind that I recently returned to church & giving my life to Christ. How do you discern between your which voice to acknowledge, obey, or ignore completely? Sometimes I’m not sure if it’s my thoughts running around like an unsupervised child or if it’s the Holy Spirit?

Amen to this! This is certainly on time as I believe I am in the presence of God's testing. For a moment, I wasn't sure, but the Lord is revealing to me that the uncomfortableness that I'm feeling is because His will for me is to push through, and ultimately, pass. I'm so used to staying where I'm comfortable and when things begin to appear hard or I can't quite figure out how or where I fit into the equation, then I resort to remaining in the very places that don't serve me or advance His Kingdom. I am ready to advance Jesus, and I am staying the course. No matter how it feels in the moment, You will receive the glory!

I’m currently in a season of testing. God called me to go to Bible school last year. I didn’t get in because of finances and drug abuse. This year I wasn’t gonna reapply, but God pushed me to do so, and while I doubted I would be accepted, I got in! But the testing is that I don’t have the finances to pay for tuition. Even though I don’t know where the finances are gonna come from, im not gonna back down and continue to press forward. I started a Go Fund Me that didn’t get as much support from my community as I expected, and while it’s very discouraging, I know that if God told me to do something he will make a way.

Our obedience unlocks the blessings and favor of God to pour out in our lives. I obeyed God when He told me not to move back to my hometown after my divorce. I knew He told me to leave where I was, but, I didn’t know exactly where I was going next. I ended up renting an apartment in the region where I heard Him tell me to go. Ever since I moved to that place, He has been blessing me with everything I need and desire. It’s like His hand of favor and grace has been on my life since I moved to where He told me to go 🙌🏽 Even the bad stuff has been working out in my favor. Our God is amazing!

I prayed & stepped out on Faith when I left my corporate job in 2020 it didn’t make sense why I was making this decision but the work environment was toxic. I didn’t have a back up job but I had a nice 401K & benefit package to take with me…..I would have to take off from work to take my mom to the dr sometimes…. I had no idea there was another reason I felt it in my spirit to leave my job…..shortly after that, my mom started having health issues and eventually I had to become her caregiver. I started to realize how much my mom needed me during that time but I later discovered I needed her MORE during that time because she eventually passed last year in July🙏🏽♥️🕊️it’s been challenging , I’m pursuing my vision and trying to rebuild. I had to start over. However holding Gods hands through this, talking to him, growing in Him. He is Amazingly seeing me thru this🙏🏽I TRUST HIM with all my ♥️

Now I’m going through another extremely sorrowful test but I already know it’s something big on the other side and to lean not on my own understanding. I remember when I was applying to graduate schools and felt called to one school in particular, but going there would literally be stepping into foreign territory. I prayed to God for clarity and He was basically like “Yea, that’s where you need to go. Don’t worry about anything else and let Me be God.” Fast forward a few months to when acceptance letters are being sent out and I’m waiting on mine, I began to feel like I made the wrong choice because my letter was taking so long to come while my peers were posting about there’s(plus this school was one of two schools that I had applied to so I was like I have no back up plan of this doesn’t go as planned). While I’m still waiting God was teaching me how to be patient in a waiting season and I’m glad that I obey Him because a few days went by and when my acceptance letter came… A SCHOLARSHIP CAME WITH IT!!!

Thank you so much for this video❤ I feel that I should watch every day because I am currently going through a difficult season where I am facing a break up with my partner of two years and I am caught in a place where I have to choose to walk away or mend our relationship, but I have taken a decision that I can't do the relationship anymore, and it hurts so bad, but I am so attached, that to numb the pain, I go back to him. I have been praying and crying hoping that God hears me but I think I got my answer in the video. I know that I should move away from my partner which is the step that will ensure that I pass the test. I don't need to wait no more, I have to move.

It is a test from God when He requires you to do something you aren't even prepared for. When he is asking you to do something which you know is scary because He only requires your obedience. Obedience is taking action to what God is asking you to do regardless of you being prepared, healed or not. And when you pass the test, you will receive what you are hoping and praying for and you will know that it is God's power that carried you. Lastly, praise God. Worship and thank Him for what He has done for you

Playing basketball was all I knew but I couldn't help but get the feeling that God had something more for me. Although, it was scary he has been showing me more of the person he's called me to be. For me the breakthrough is always the refilling of His Holy Spirit and i learned about that perspective thru reading the scripture. Beginning of this year finalizing my study visa was crazy, so much that the trials seemed to intensify, but like you said, I acted in faith and crossed borders saying "I'm going to school, I'll deal with the visa later". I got to school and registered without a visa, for a degree better than the one I had applied for, and in turn, that breakthrough resulted in me being filled with God's Spirit even more. Same way as the apostles in the book of Acts and same way as Jesus after the wilderness.

I feel like I am going through a test now. My lease with my partner ended, but so did our relationship. I had to move back to my family’s house with our 9 month old. It has not been easy and it’s only been a couple of weeks. Yesterday I feel like I got to a breaking point/rock bottom. I’ve been saying for weeks that I was going to fast, but I’ve been putting it off because I wanted to be 100% on what to fast from. When I hit rock bottom yesterday, I said that’s it and I removed my social media pages aka distractions. I feel like God was saying remove the distractions and focus on me. It’s only day 1, but after watching this video, I feel good/refreshed. I’m ready for this breakthrough and praying that God will walk with me and see me through

For me it would be really giving Him the control. Most recently I had no money to register for the second semester. I went through a lot of emotions during that time, I was even considering in dropping out and carrying on next year. However, after really taking my devotions seriously and just giving it up to Him, at the last minute I was able to pay for my semester and now I get to continue with my degree 🥰.

In terms of the question around tests, this is a good one that I have to really ponder because I’ve been wondering lately what am I currently going through and what is the Lord testing me in. And as I’m typing this the Lord brings it to my mind. In this season of my life God is testing my faith and patience in him. One of the things I’ve been struggling with are conventional next steps for my stage/age of life, which is buying a home and starting a family. While conventionally it makes sense for me to be doing these things I’ve seen friends and so many people I know moving forward in these areas where I haven’t and it can be so discouraging. However, I am having to remind myself that God is faithful to His Word and that He hasn’t forgotten about me and that it’s *HIS TIMING* and not mine. A mantra I’ve recently taken on when I get caught in the comparison trap is *my race, my pace*. In that my pace is attuned to God’s timing for my life. So while I haven’t arrived to the other side as yet, I’m writing this as a reminder to myself and to others that trusting God’s timing won’t ever steer us wrong or fail us. Hoping to return with the testimony in the near future!

I recess job offer and than weeks later, July 19 I lost my brother. My faith is definitely being tested. But I’m waiting on my breakthrough 🙏🏾 This my second brother passing. He has brought me through it before I know he will do it again.. This is a test of my faith. But God will never leave me!

I’m in my test right now, especially when it comes to my channel. He had me pivot from beauty to faith and femininity content and I’m trusting him with this!

Currently going through trying to land my first software engineer job. I have given up so many times and feel likeI have no strength to keep moving and working as I try to at least get an interview. My social phobia is getting the best of me currently.

One of my test was trusting Yahweh's timing that He would make a way for my rent to be paid last year without being evicted despite receiving an eviction notice. I would pray while being worried due to me being evicted before. I would not always have enough to cover all my bills due to hours cut or with me having health issues at times which caused me not always able to work. Once I would pray, believe, and stopped worrying causing me to have anxiety, he turned it around and I did not get evicted. He blessed me with several assistance which paid my rent up for half a year! Once I ask seek without getting angry or mad and just be patient in the storm, He will bring me through.
