Im a 14 year old girl who has suffered a lot the past years and ended up having to grow up so much faster. I usually pray in the shower just like this man and while I was on my knees with my head lowered down, my feet started to lose blood and started to cramp because of obvious reasons (to much pressure on them) so I just sat up with my legs crossed and prayed to the holy spirit to take to pain away from me feet and give me strength to stand up and get out of the shower despite how badly they hurt and he helped me, I felt his presence. Now I am in bed and I was watching one of Gavins videos and was praying for everyone, but I felt more empty than usual and I started getting a bit scared again so I prayed to God to show me anything else he would like me to see and I received this video, I will admit that a few tears fell from my eyes while watching this video because just gavin talking about how he prays in the shower and the stuff about feet washing. I'm so sorry to hear what you've written. Sadly enough, I too have lost my entire family, most recent my father to cancer. Everything I loved is gone. I married in 09 to someone who said they were a Christian man. I went to school with him. It ended up being the worst mistake I ever made in my life. This man caused me so much pain to the point that my relationship with God was nearly destroyed. My heart and mind was not prepared to face the evil that was poured out on me, from losing my baby during pregnancy, my entire house burned down and I lost everything except the clothes on my back, I experienced near death situations..I could continue but I don't have enough time or space to tell it all. I became so angry with God..I thought he left me totally and my life kept on speeding out of control with nonstop trauma. Friends walked away, so called Christians left me. The pain and outright grief of what happened to me broke me like nothing ever! And sometimes I think all of this just because I longed to be married and have a family with God leading us? But here I am. Still trying to recover. These prayers that I stumbled upon from Gavin have helped me tremendously lately. I can truly sense in my heart that it is God using Gavin to speak to my pain because I don't trust easy at all. I pray for you too. No one can truly understand pain and trauma unless they've been there on that extreme level. And in this day and age where most everyone is consumed with their own life and hate and only care about what they are saying and don't even recognize those who suffer right in front of them, it's extremely easy to get lost and become introverted cutting off the world around us. Hearing HIS voice may take some time and lots of practice and I'd encourage you to keep seeking HIm and you will hear and know HIS voice clearly over time. GOD speaks to us in many different ways... if we are open to hearing and seeing from HIM... HE speaks to us in many different ways... it can be through our thoughts... a still small voice... bringing scripture passages to our remembrance... HE can also speak to us through movies, art, music... by looking at nature, the sky... GOD is always speaking to us... the key is to keep seeking HIM and you will hear and see... Often, GOD also speaks to us through unexpected ways... e.g. other people... situations that may happen in our lives etc... if we keep asking HIM what is HE saying to us today... we will hear and see... As we draw near to HIM, HE will draw near to us. (James 4:7) Hearing HIM often comes from first being still (recognising and acknowledging) and knowing HE is GOD (Psalm 46:10) - whether it's through prayer or reading/meditating on HIS WORD or listening/singing praise and worship songs to HIM or even sharings like this video... I had a dream that Jesus came with a golden bowl and washed my feet and then I washed His feet, at first I refused because He is God, how can I let Him wash my feet, but I let Him and He said that go do unto others. I lost everything, five years ago: job, home, car, belongings, reputation within this small community, then finally, my hope... I tried to end my life but the Lord wouldn't allow it. He spared me, yet again, for His Glory and to fulfill what He has called me to accomplish in the Earth. If I hadn't been walking in willful sin, none of those things would've happened. I was looking for a parking space in a mall here in the Philippines. The area was packed as there was a festival for the child Jesus at that time (Sinulog).... When... Out of nowhere, a man with short curly hair appeared pointing to a parking space... Following his lead, we found ourselves parked right outside of the mall's backdoor!!! The man was wearing a plain shirt and was not even a security guard. He was just a civilian and his gesture was super unexpected. Sometimes I'd like to think that it was Jesus, but I feel unworthy of such... But... Hearing you now.. I know it was the Lord's way of showing me His love and tenderness. I have been through so much all my life and this is making me feel so so loved, my heart is overflowing with peac and joy knowing and FEELING that God loves me so much! 🙏🏼❤️

From a life of inner chaos to a life of restauration. 2023 has been painful and healing. I come from a family where I was isolated, spiritually and emotionally manipulated, I was told that as a woman I had to obey and serve my father and could not leave the house until I got married. I was told that my heart was wicked, that It was not God’s will for me as a woman to work or study. I was shamed and I was so afraid of God. In 2023 I barely spoke to God. I was attracted to new age practices but it never filled me like Jesus did.
