Im not hearing how they are off myself. He gives the command Shagom Marsch there is then the correct pause of a beat and then the fife and drums start. The drums for the attack after he yells follow me going into the charge is also correct .

What makes it off beat? The drum beat is easy to march to, the drum strikes when the left foot hits the ground almost like its saying "left...left...left...left right left...left...left...left....left right left..." Also drums were used to issue commands too not just keep everyone in step.
