My father used to sing me this song when I was a child whenever I felt bad or just to let me know how much he loved me. In Jan 2021, the last time I visited him in the hospital before he passed away, I sang him this song to let him feel good and that he would know how much I love him. The day after we lost him :(. On the stone of his grave there are the words "You are the sunshine in our hearts". Thank you for this sweet song, your voice is like an angel singing this song ♥

In 2015 as my brother was being taken off life support in the hospital our whole family sang this song to him as he took his last breaths and went to heaven. You sang this beautifully Jada and your voice is amazing! I wrote a different version of this song same melody, but in my own words, I haven't recorded or released it but one day I will. I found your music a few weeks ago, I keep finding more songs that I could listen to over and over!

I absolutely love this song. When I was really young my biological mother got pregnant with my youngest sister. When she was sad or scare and crying in her crib I would sing this to her and she would laugh and then fall asleep. Thank you Jada for all the beautiful music!!

I am 13 and I also play guitar and as a baby my grandpa sang this to me and he died when I was 3 and now my mom sings it to me and this song is my only memory of it so thank you for making this ❤😊
