Cause I couldn't get the idea out of my mind.
Seriously, it's been nagging and nagging and when I finally sat down to edit it, I was done in about 5 hours.
This whole vid stemmed from that opening conversation between Rose and Donna. I love it. And I love how true Rose is: The Doctor is so good at making everyone around him feel like they're "brilliant". So I wanted to show lots of his interactions (I'm sure I didn't get them all, no matter how hard I tried, lol) with his companions and other people he ran into, showing how he helped them believe in themselves and they, in turn, helped him as well :)

ps. I don't know why it says this is the "explicit" version, cause it's NOT. And I would appreciate if you kept your comments "G" rated, I do NOT like reading curse words, even if they are meant as a compliment.

This is amazing..... made me miss David Tennant, Rose, Mickey, Rose's mom, and Donna more. I love all the Doctors but, David Tennant just was so perfect for the role in my opinion. He would've been perfect for some of the episodes from last year and this year. I'm glad I stumbled upon this video.

This kind of illustrates my frustration with Moffat's female companions. They start out "perfect" and he adds a minor flaw here and there as the story requires it. I much prefer the Companions who find their perfection during their travels. Rose, the Shopgirl; Jack, the Wanderer; Martha, the Student; Donna, the Temp. They all started out as such small versions of themselves, and then the Doctor saw something special in them and gave them the lenses they needed to see it in themselves. The best compliment in the world would be to have the Doctor tell you he thinks you're brilliant, and the best day of your life would be when you accept that he was right. :)

LittleHobbit13, I agree, (except for Rory, he went from being just the "friend" and nurse to the Last Centurion). As for Clara, while Jenna Louise Coleman is a great actress, the character is my least favorite companion. She seems to be the only one who isn't her own defined character. Instead, at first she relies on the Doctor, and then Danny Pink to give her definition. After so many strong companions, it's a shame to waste Coleman on such a weak role.

I'm so glad I stumbled upon this. I'm having a rough day. My step-mom's in the hospital with cancer, I'm working alone because someone has to look after the family business, my ex-girlfriend got jealous of one of my friends and started sending a lot of hate my way last night, then she convinced my probably-soon-to-be-ex-girlfriend to hate me as well, I'm afraid my best friend may follow... I'm so angry and stressed and depressed and I needed this. I need the Doctor.

Oh lord, I can't even tell you how awesome this vid is! I love love LOVE how you didn't just stick to the "main" companions; the appearances of the less-thought of characters, from Lydia to the Master, really helped to put the message of this vid across.

Okay, listen, I seriously watch this twice a day, if not more. The hope it gives me, not just for the show, but for life, and humans in general, is inspiring. I mean, look what the Doctor turns people into, it's AMAZING. And we're all capable of the things they are, whether it's facing a fear that's been following you or simply accepting your dreams for what they are - possible.

I just love these kinds of videos. Those where nothing else interests your eyes or ears than them. The clips were put so well together! And the effects... the music.. just everything! For every great video about Doctor Who I stumble upon, I fall more more and love with the Doctor. Thank you SO MUCH (!!) for creating this.

when ever I watch this video it always reminds me of why I love doctor who and what great relationships he has with his companions. The doctor does believe his companions are all perfect in their own way and they all hold a special place in his hearts. I love this video a lot and it shows me that even though they make mistakes the doctor still loves them and has made a big impact on their lives. :D

I always like to think that the meaning of this song is - even if you don't think you're perfect, to someone else you always are and it seems like all the Doctor's companions were to him and vice versa!

I love this. It's really good technically, the clips are synched perfectly, there's a great mix of clips, the editing and sound and stuff and... it's so true. Because that's what the Doctor does, to everyone he touches. Well, either that or they die, but the point still stands.

Beautiful!! Love this song! Love the inclusion of all the people he touched, more than just the Companions that travel in the TARDIS with him (Rose, Jack, Mickey, Amy, Rory, Donna, Martha, Sarah Jane). Yes, he does make them feel important, loved, and valued for who they are. :)

I also loved that you didn't just use the "main" companions, but people like Lynda as well. Gah love this! You know for all the fire and Ice and the risk of getting burned the doctor can cause he is amazing at bringing out good in ppl who feel they aren't good enough or are going nowhere. One of the many things I love about him. His faith in humanity (even when it doesn't always deserve it) is lovely!

Oh a new one~ :D And that AN is so true. It is what the Doctor does. Good touch with "bad decisions" when Amy pressed the button. Most of all though, I really loved how you included Jack, Vincent, Jenny, the Master, I forget the bus girl's name, and you even have Nancy and the wedding couple in there. You put everyone in. 1:15-1:21 made me feel bad because it wast he jealous boyfriends. But that was a great idea. Having Mickey and Rory confronting the Doctor in there. Then 1:58-2:24? Perfect.

I do as well, and obviously some people didn't get the hint and they're leaving comments with the "unclean" version in them and I roll my eyes at them. I think the song is much more powerful without the cursing ;)
