It's unbelievable to witness seeing someone become ecstatic for regular everyday stuff. I heard someone complaining about aging and the fact that people don't see him/look at him. Meanwhile, people are treated like she explained (soley due to needing simple things like food and clothes).....and he was concerned about that?!?!? Offering someone food (if you ca ) and allowing them to take on the position of ordering what they need and you discreetly slide in to pay, really makes some people feel good about themselves.

I've never really been homeless and I'm a homeowner now, but anybody can imagine what it would be like to need serious help, only to be given an empty pizza box or be given fake money. People can be so incredibly cruel.

Hopefully he’ll see this comment, and take the kind suggestion to make a few backpacks with plus size clothes in them. I was caught off guard when he said no I don’t have those sizes lol. Still a wonderful man tho he’s help so many, also thanks to his subscribers for helping also.

I was a plus size woman, unfortunately, due to bad health I no longer have that extra weight, but I know how hard it is to find clothes. I cannot imagine being homeless and having the need for larger clothes. Nate, I hope you see this comment, and that we can somehow have just a few things made up for women that are larger, it would help their dignity along with their needs.

Necessity is the mother of invention. I would imagine that the backpacks Nate & his girlfriend make are filled with items that people told them they could use. Now that Nate knows there is a need for larger-sized women's clothes & shoes, he will make some new backpacks.

He talks to them person to person ,Human being to human being that's respect and kindness

So many just do it for the views but it’s easy to tell Knate does it because he actually wants to help.

As a person with severe anxiety and panic disorder,I immediately recognized that. He could help her apply for ss benefits and housing. For someone like that,the streets can be a very dangerous place!

Very likely PTSD too or c-PTSD. People with PTSD end up on the street so, so often and just end up being retraumatized over and over again... It breaks my heart and makes me very angry. I agree maybe Knate could help her get benefits and disability.

I watched this and didn't cry. It sure does not mean I don't have a soul. However, it does pull at the heart strings and i watch knate all the time. He's a good man and i help people where ever I can especially the not so fortunate.

I don’t understand it, how are they can be able to pay the tickets? We give all these benefits to people flooding over the border illegally, but have so many people struggling and dying on our streets already

@@NaterBater Both should be getting benefits, it doesn't have to be one or the other. You don't need someone to lose for someone else to win.

The sad thing about it is, most cops, not all but most, only see the homeless as less than and writing them tickets or putting them in jail is more money for them and the city/county. They know they can't pay the tickets and are expecting them to get warrants because of it because it looks better on the Cops for having more arrests or money coming in by dehumanizing these people and not seeing them as anything but another dollar sign. It's honestly sad and wrong completely.

If you have time, ask your God to end the suffering of all these people.

Do you have any old clothes you no longer wear in your closet? Bring them down to a shelter. You don't have to donate money to help them out. If you outgrow a jacket keep your old one in the car and give it to someone in need when winter rolls around.

That was Sparks Police. Downtown Reno has ambassadors who respond over nuisance calls and try to show the homeless what resources are available. Reno also has a community court. So you either do community service or get services only available for certain small crimes. If they don't show up to community court then it becomes a normal warrant and then through normal courts. Not all cities have this program though. And if the ambassadors feel police response is necessary then they call and an officer responds. But they get really good training.

They know where to get resources etc but most people choose to live like that

I know where she's coming from because I'm large-sized, and I wear a lot of men's clothing. It's easier to find something that fits, including shoes. I can put together a nice outfit for certain occasions like weddings and funerals, but I'm retired and I'm not picky about day-to-day clothing. Yeah, Knate is truly a good person. I really do love that guy.
