@Kaiffu I have a question. How would you feel if the chat quit wishing you a happy birthday? I ask because every vod or stream I catch there is always a person saying happy birthday, however you always negate the wishes while remaining polite to the commenter. Isn't your birthday Thanksgiving? Either way just a random question I wanted to as, hope everyone has an awesome day.
@@corvosweet-moon8629 True! There is such a loophole. Maybe it should be a monthly series, Self-improvement with Stan, or Stanprovement for short. Each time tackling some difficult topic, maybe the next installment would be actually installing games on that SSD.
@@Dalzedur The best part is Sam was yelling at him to look up videos on how to install SSD but Stan being the guy he was made excuse saying he doesn’t know how to look it up
Ah.... the SSD rant. I love this whole stream. Also, i love you can hear Sam understanding and like "i know life can be daunting" he has that "im not mad, just dissapointed" vibe
@@Kaiffu I did just have a thought that if Stan can stream on twitch from his phone or something he could make this a stream and have his chat walk him through it?
Worst part is Stan has an SSD, he willfully chooses not to install anything onto it. They are joking that he should just have two SSDs and no regular hard drive, so that he won't have that excuse anymore.
You guys just need to invade Stan's life for a day, make sure he has his wallet and drag him to the nearest tech store, make him buy a SSD, take him home, force him to install it and video him doing it.
God that SSD rant. I know you guys have been giving him so much shit for not doing it, but DAMN Sam went the full nine yards on Stan. Ah, reminds me of the old WoW days....
Stan: I’m scared of unplugging 2 cables and breaking my computer. Me: what happens if I connect this pin to ground? 💨 mystery short circuit smoke💨 Hmm 😕 Time to tear apart this circuit board my team and I spent 9 hours a week, for the last month and a half. Never found what short circuited.
That Sam rant was glorious. Not gonna lie. Also Sam has a point. And he has... *hears the can't look stuff up part* ... ... I... I... But... I... But... It... *AdahyBullet.exe has stopped working*
Them trying to explain to Stan how to install an SSD reminds me of the time I spent 2 and a half hours explaining to a couple friends how to get through Mt. Moon over discord.
I love so many of the mechanics in this game, i.e.: - being able to spectate your friends when you're in a chair - props acc fall apart when they take damage 9:59 26:00 57:29 1:56:17 2:45:32 - you can see through props when you're hiding behind them 34:12 (like Witch It) - you see the outline of the prop you're aiming at to know what you can turn into (like Witch It) - you can see the Killer's outline/ aura when they're near a chaired Survivor 2:47:56 - props can acc fit inside other props 13:17 25:52 36:57 57:57 1:07:28 1:55:30 2:06:03 2:24:09 - you can make your prop stand upright 21:12 - you can self-reanimate when you're down - completing objectives adds more time 49:13 - the last survivor gets a speed buff for objectives 50:59 - you slowly regenerate health over time (5HP every 30s, capped at 70%), etc. I wish other prop hunt games & asymmetrical horror games like DBD & Gmod Prop Hunt would add a lot of those features tbh.
I can't catch streams very often, but stuff like that Stan SSD bit is exactly why I often like watching VODs over edited videos. Doubt that'll be included in the final cut if this gets one, but so funny!
I played this game with a couple of friends recently and it was VERY fun so I’m excited to watch this I had a brainfart and i worded it wrong so here is the correct thing - "I talked to a couple of friends recently about playing this and we thought it looked VERY fun" Excuse me for being a dumbass
@@Kaiffu there's a streamer who once played hardcore rlcraft multiple times and has an ongoing joke that whenever he dies and starts a new playthrough and someone asks on his chat if he died or not, they insist that nothing of the sort happened and that it's still their first playthrough and then ends those sentences with "smile' Maybe Sam watched them? Who knows?
While it might seem like a small issue and Sam blew up, I can honestly understand where he's coming from. If you have to keep repeating yourself for the betterment of your mate and those around him for what, years?... then it just gnaws at you and annoy you more and more until it just blows over or blows up.
Kaif about the drilling a hole in your old HDD thing the data could still be recovered if the person trying is determined even a drive lost in the sea for years could still be recovered for the most part. Usually they copy the data on a new drive of the same model considering well a hole is drilled in it or depending how badly it is damaged
i like how the two animal things you can transform into are known for hopping, cause the jump seems pretty good (didn't see the blob fish before writing this lmao)
I understand the fear of doing it yourself, I've got anxiety and I've never done it before, so what I did was I went to a nifty place nearby called a computer shop and paid them to do it for me. Stan even mentioned he might pay someone to do it for him, if he knew that was an option why didn't he have it done 2 years ago T T
Stan and his SSD in a nutshell: I don't wanna change it but its not because I am afraid of losing money, it is not because I am afraid of breaking something, it's because I am lazy to do it. And I will come up with as mamy excuses in order not to change it.
Stan in his 20s: afraid to replace a hard drive with an SSD Me in my 20s: Fearlessly built an entire PC with new SSD and hard drive Even managed to bend the pins on my CPU and still managed to come out with a working personally put together PC >>"
2:16:26 The Banshee is pretty cool. One thing they probably haven't realised is that the Banshee can acc fly into the air, which they can use to scout around the map or get up to high places 2:07:18 2:07:41
This would've been better as yet another prop hunt game, the dead by daylight elements of repairing the machines are so long and people seem to have more fun toying with the killer and hiding.
Ehh I disagree, prop hunt is fun until you realise nobody is going to find you I like the tension of hiding, but knowing I inevitably need to fix those machines, it gives you that chase you want from a prop hunt game
@@Kaiffu that us true but I feel like the means of doing the gens are boring as just hold it and occasionally press space maybe if they added something like a button sequence or smth like that
It's essentially like DBD I guess, in reality you shouldn't be able to sit and do an entire generator haha It is a bit boring but it's not something I'm bothered by tbh
hey people who watched the video and are angry at me for what I said to stan regarding his ssd, do me a favour stop taking your anger out on people who have nothing to do with it, all Kaif did was be there when I had a go at Stan regarding this whole SSD topic there's a lot you don't see or understand regarding this situation and what's lead up to it so do me a favour and chill out for anyone who enjoyed the video and didn't get angry i love u thank u for being good
Stan in his 20s : *afraid of changing ssd cause its his first time* Me when in my 12th : *first time learning how to ride motorbike, almost died on the road, back to learning it as soon as im back being healthy*
I understand Stan's side in a way since I suffer from the same problem. I don't like doing stuff even if people say it's easy. There is just this invisible barrier stopping me from trying. Sometimes it's because of fear of change, it feels safe keeping to what I know. And sometimes it's about fear of messing things up even if there is perfect guides on how to do it. I've just messed things up too many times I have no confidence in my own skills. There might be other reasons as well behind it but still. I know how it feels when you should do something but you just can't and everyone keeps pressuring you. Not saying pressuring is bad. It's ok as long as it doesn't turn to shaming and negativity. It can help the person struggling but doing it too harshly can also make the task harder.
Pressuring the person in good taste shows you care about them. If you don't do it you just leave them on their own and they might never do the thing. So don't feel bad about reminding your friends to do something. They might react negativily or not listen but later they hopefully realize you ment well.
Oh and one way I procrastinate doing something is "oh yeah I should do this thing, well now is not a good time, I'll do it later" *much later* "Oh yeah I was supposed to do this thing, well I don't feel like it right now, later" *much later again* "Oh yeah! This thing. Well I have no time. Later" etc etc. I remember the thing at worst times. For example just when I'm going to sleep XD I really should start working on this flaw of mine
I understand you want to apply your own feelings to stans situation. But the reality is, Stan installs games on his hard drive where SSD space is available I would be happy if he took the hard drive out entirely and didnt replace it Two years of this shit haha
@@Kaiffu Hopefully he finds a way to do it finally. I can understand the frustration as well when someone doesn't listen to good advice. Haven't had to deal with someone not listening after years tho fortunately xD Glad to see you can still find humor in it and don't take it too seriously. The chemistry between all of you guys is so nice, even tho some saltiness does happen here and there.
This game is amazing. I especially love the art style 22:38 & abilities 39:32 2:00:32. Ngl, the game mechanics are obviously very similar to Dead By Daylight, Gmod Prop Hunt & Witch It, but they also remind me of Last Year: The Nightmare lol. The art style also reminds of Last Year, Grounded & Back4Blood tbh.
So DBD had a kid with the prop hunt game from a bit back. And has a Stranger Things vibe to the kids. Looks fun. And certainly more stylistically memorable than DbD for sure.
I know Stans pain, I am exactly the same. I could get locked into an abandoned building and I would be fine, no fear. But if the slightest computer related problem pops up I immediately get to 80% stress.
What hurts is hearing that the load screen times for WoW went from 2-3 minutes down to 30 seconds. Bruh, it's only ever taken a minute at most on a hard drive now down to about 5-10 seconds at most on a SSD. And it's even quicker on an M.2
Stan and his fucking SSD. Just. FUCKING. USE. IT!! Edit: Jesus christ, listening to him going "I'm gonna find someone to do it for me" removed the little bit of hope I had for this man.
0:00 I can't tell if Kaif means The Silence or The Whisper Men lol. I haven't watched Doctor Who in a few years, but those are the only creatures I could think of that he might mean.
Hope this makes it to the main! Subtitles will be hard won’t it? Heard you say these subtitles are hard to make and I better enjoy it, and I do, part of what makes the video so funny!
11:45 56:58 57:46 1:00:10 1:01:06 I love Kaif, but I wish he didn't camp & tunnel. I wish games like this & DBD had ways to prevent stuff like that tbh. I know a lot of killers use it as a reliable strategy but it always feels less fun imo since you're preventing ppl from getting to play the game just to secure a kill. It seems like the devs have made an effort to counter it since: 1) stunning the killer lasts long enuff to free Survivors from the chair (to counter camping) 2) you can see the Killer's outline/ aura when they're near a chaired Survivor (to counter camping) 3) you can self-reanimate when downed (to counter slugging) but clearly it's not particularly effective.
