That's Don Brooks. He did all the harp on Waylon's records. The "This Time" album has some amazing harp on it. Check it out.

Whew! I love “Outlaw Country” and especially sexy Waylon Jennings! So glad he didn’t get on that plane, the day the music died…

Outlaw Country is the only Country Music I ever listened too. Also most admit I enjoyed that Bakersfield sound too as a kid. (Don Rich) I’m sure you have listened to Willie. His son Micah will no doubt carry on his dad’s legacy. If you haven’t listened to Micah here’s something he wrote that’s worth the time .m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Ec7ZEfF19Sw.html&pp=ygUnaWYgaSBkaWUgaGlnaCBpJ2xsIGJlIGhhbGZ3YXkgdG8gaGVhdmVu

@@curtisphilumalee1447Yes Ty! 😊 I love Dwight Yoakam aka Bakersfield Sound too, glad I experienced him live, and absolutely love Willie and Kris K. Have listened to Micah before and glad he’s carrying on his dads tradition, so cool.

I was exposed to a lot of genres in my house. My parents were big Country Western fans. Every Saturday night, growing up the Saturday night line-up was Country Western shows and big band. If you wanted to watch tv, you learned to watch what your parents were watching. You learned to appreciate and respect other people's music. I dont know what I miss the most... sitting in the living room watching tv with my parents or those shows on tv. I'd have to say... both. Best days growing up.❤ May you rest in eternal peace my loving dad. 🕊 Happy Saturday... thank you for sharing! 💖 Happy Holidays! 🎄✨️🎁🦌🎅🤶🧑‍🎄

I know what you mean. Saturday's started in the afternoon with Porter Wagoner's show. My mom was a fan. Later in the evening there was Lawrence Welk. My Dad just thought Joanne Castle, the pianist, hung the moon. Often they would have the Grand Ole Opry on radio later at night. Not necessarily my cup of tea, but I miss being together and watching all at one time.

Is it just me or is Waylon's outfit a little unusual for him? I don't think I've ever seen him dressed quite like he is here.....especially in 1975. Waylon and the band were on fire at this time!!

You ain’t gangsta ‘til you’ve done time with the Folsom Wolf, like Johnny Cash. Jennings was only arrested and not charged.
