I love the story of how you learned Spanish. It is similar to mine. I went to Iquitos by my self when I was 16 years old. I lived with a Peruvian family and went to high school and learned Spanish for 3 months. I got fluent and in college went to live in Santiago Chile for 7 months going to college. This was all in the 1990s so both Peru and Chile were very different then. I knew almost every part of Santiago and used to visit the Vega to eat and enjoy every week. I met my wife there and we go to Chile almost every year but also I get back to Peru when I can. I love the Amazon and have so many life long friends there as well as in Chile. I have also been to Ecuador several times as my Brother-in-law was living in Quito for many years. Hopefully you will get to Iquitos and some of the little villages along the Amazon river. Very beautidul people there. I love Peru and Chile. Both countries are very very dear to my heart. Much respect to you for touring Callao. You have much more guts than I do. Anyway, love the videos and I am a new subscriber.
You are just gifted for foreign languages as your English is excellent, even better than your Spanish. Although it is like magic, you even understand people in Spanish when they are using slang, which myself originally from Argentina would have a hard time figuring out, i.e., "poleras", which in Argentina and other nations are called "remeras" (T-shirts). Have you planned to visit Montréal, Canada? I love that city, which is culturally a Latin city (just like Madrid, Paris or Rome), they love to speak Spanish, which they typically learn in Cuba. In Cuba you would be welcome as well, a safe nation to visit albeit very poor.
Dogs can pick up on fear and emotion, most of them are just trying to survive and won't hurt anyone, unless threatened or abused. Some can be quite vocal but often out of self defence - they could have had been attacked in the past and so this has made them weary or cautious of people. There was only one example of aggression I had from a pack of dogs at night, and it was actually another dog that came between us to protect us.

You Speak better Spanish than English... In Spanish you "Roll" the "R's-RR's" better than me... In English I "Sound" the R's better than you. Biah vs Beer = Cerveza... If you can say Cerveza, you can say Beer, however the way you say "Biah" sounds "Pretty Cool" !... : )
