That same theory applies to house selling too. A few gallons of paint, a pressure wash, clean windows...all elbow grease and a few dollars can get you easily another $10k or more

Stop using a claw hammer to beat on thinks get a small Ball Peen hammer to beat on metal parts. Claw hammers are made out of a softer metal than ball pean hammers.

Nothing more orkord than having your shaft lube mark pointed out to you. The moo's seem to know where you want them to go. I wonder if the med gives the water an off taste. I would like to have seen a jack stand under that mower. (please) Good video. Pax.

Keep in mind those are torque to yield bolts on that mower. They torque at a ridiculously amount plus 90deg. I hope they don’t break from reusing them. That’s the luck I had. I had to replace mine and the nuts. Great mowers. Love the content.

I am guessing that tractor did not look that good when it came off the delership lot. The mower repair looked like a real knuckle buster. I snapped the end right off one of dad’s 36 inch breaker bars using a pipe like that. I can still picture the look of disappointment on his face when I did it. Is it too soon to suggest you should have ceramic coated the new shoe rack as well.😂

I like the farmer mentality. If it is broke, you bring in YOUR knuckles, break them, and fix it!! Amazing how you tear into things, figure them out, reassemble them, and make them work. Great video guys., Thanks for letting me watch.

Liked the repair part of the video, it's always good to be able to fix what you can. About a week ago I found a John Deere repair technician channel called ZK MasterTech out of Illinois or Wisconsin, I believe. It's a great example of why these modern tractors need to be sent into an implement repair shop for so many different repair jobs.

Winter project. Make a fram for the disk mower were you can push it around. Probably make it easier on getting it in and out.

You need a U Joint impact socket. they have red Locktight on, so a little heat helps. Use locktight when you put it back together

crazy tip. If you hook a length of chain onto the FL bracket of the forks and lay it down the fork under the other chains it will largely keep them in place while they largely keep it in place with it just laying up there.

Fix it vids are really good shows the up and coming farmers what is what also gives them an idea of what to expect when doing repairs. Do it yourself repairs especially for young farmers is not just mandatory it is actually a survival skill

Hey Brian, do you think a chainmale curtain during ditch hay would be enough to save cab glass? Like a fireplace screen between. 0.30 Clear vinyl curtains would only last a season or two and haze over @ $30/yard. How fast are the rocks coming at the cab? Thanks for sharing. -EZ

I did the "Sonne Farms" traditional throwing of my hat through the combine to celebrate the end of harvest. Mine turned out just like yours. Hardly any damage but a few wrinkles. 😂
