What's up Bros? It is part one of the Summer House reunion and part 1 of our recap! In this episode we dive deeper into the break up with Lindsay and Carl. What is also important to note is it seems like a lot of the people in the house have somewhat changed their tune with Lindsay since the last episode... The day of the break up is rehashed and we find out that Carl called the cameras and they had a fight 45 minutes before they started filming that scene. We also discuss Kyle and Carl's relationship and how they were able to come back together over the summer as well as their current status at Loverboy. Andy asks about Kyle's involvement in Lindsay and Carl's relationship and from what we saw, he did a fairly good job of staying out of it for the most part. On a brighter note, the house was pretty solid all summer. The ladies were getting along with one another and we saw the dudes get along as well. They certainly made Summer fun again. @@patclark2398 well to be fair, the pickings are SLIM among Bravo men, sadly! Her two best friends are dating Bravo men and it worked for them despite Kyle and Craig's past, so she probably thought she could "fix" them (something that many women are tempted to do when it comes to men)

Carl is weak and enjoys playing the victim. They have never liked Lindsay, so they are quick dismiss her experiences. Instead, they shouldn't take sides and understand there are three sides to every story. Even with Danielle admitting to reporting info about Craig to the press, they were angrier at Lindsay for telling on her friend instead of Danielle for allowing her friend to be blamed.

What show are you watching? Lindsay is the one that plays victim. She can't take ownership of her behavior and is always blaming others. Nothing is EVER her fault. At least Carl recognizes that they are both to blame for the breakdown of their marriage whereas Lindsay ONLY blames Carl.

I’ve recently just started to warm up to Ciara. I viewed her as a bit cold in her first couple seasons and after this reunion it’s clear that she’s guarded and probably has some trauma that we’ll never know, and shouldn’t. I hope she finds the strength she needs in friends like Paige and Amanda.

You guys find every black woman "Cold" if she doesn't talk a lot something. She came into the house as the ONLY black person and a woman and she took shots with the girls, she defended Hannah against Luke when he was playing both of them, she warmed up a lot in that house despite being the obviously different one and she was still "Cold?" What was she supposed to do to be MORE warm? Sing and dance for you guys? 😂The high standards you have for black women but you get to be cold, passive aggressive, and Medicore is astounding

I was making no comment about race - I was speaking about the fact she didn’t interact warmly with some of the cast in earlier seasons. I can use another word, if you’d like? Hesitant? I think Ciara herself said she doesn’t open up easily to people. Please don’t put hateful words in someone’s mouth.

@@lindsey2002 You could not have watched the earlier seasons because I gave examples of Ciara's behaviour from the first time she came on the show and that doesn't reflect a person being "Cold" Secondly, a person choosing not to divulge their personal life makes them does not make them a cold person; they are guarded OR they don't trust the person they are around in order to share their personal life. I never heard that if a person doesn't tell me their life story they are "cold." The fact of the matter is that most Non black women, such as yourself, have this nasty need to set high expectation and highly scrutinize black women on how we must behave around you. As if we need to dance, sing, and now share our personal life. if not, we are angry, rude, cold. The funny part is non black women are actually way more cold, unfriendly, catty, and passive aggressive. the irony.

@@keepingit100-ss3hx Sure, I respect that. Let’s say “reserved” then. I’m not going to parse words, I know what my intentions were in my initial comment, and it was nothing negative or derogatory. I’ve been much more critical to Carl and Kyle and Danielle in this thread, if we’re keeping it 100. We’re all allowed to voice opinions in a respectful way, but it appears that I can’t because of who I am.

I’ve been dreading this one. I’ve always said I love my friends cause I don’t have to date my friends. West would be a legit buddy but might not be a great boyfriend. Ciara needs to look outside of fame hungry Bravo-lebrities for boyfriends cause it will always be a storyline and a heartbreak.

Okay....THANK YOU! The whole Carl not having Kyle as a groomsmen thing is exactly how I felt about it all. Carl was intimidated by Lindsay and didn't need her to say the actual words....he knew if he made Kyle a groomsmen there would be conflict and he was too "afraid" to do it.

The other rumor is that Lindsey was supposed to be on traitors but was replaced by Ciera because she is with child. 😮 hate hate hate to speculate on that kind of stuff but… Also. West doesn’t deserve the attention, negative or positive. And for no reason at all, he reminds me of “Doofy” from Scary Movie. He doesn’t care about Ciara as a person but he’s thrilled that he, as a 4 (in personality and looks), conquered a 10 (in virtue, looks, plus she cried). He loved every minute of her tears. He’ll continue on his quest to sleep with anything sliding in his DMs, and if he’s lucky, he won’t catch some incurable disease. 😵‍💫🥴 This peasant is no prize.

Exactly. On the after shows Gabby had been driving me nuts doing too much and actually being Lindsay's mouthpiece. However, during this part of the reuinion, I was glad she had Lindsay's back, especially since the Bedsore Brigade was going to do what they always do...flip on Lindsay and come for her because they genuinely do not like her.

Lindsay was totally calm this season except the first argument of the summer. He had been jobless for almost a year. She asked questions that he couldn’t answer so he blamed her instead of looking in the mirror.

She was rightfully so wanted him to decide on a career path by the time they got married, as I have a feeling if they did get married the plan was to leave the show, she'd get pregnant one day one of the honeymoon and then she was going to be a mom influencer so she would need Carl's benefits! He in no way shape or form should have proposed and she should have not said yes!! IT WAS NEVER GOING TO LAST!

She’s not at Andrea’s wedding, they released the official statement but says they are going strong. Don’t know if that’s just PR to keep the rumor mill at bay or if it’s serious. Saw some very blurry video of Kyle rubbing a girls arm at a club

Shooter made a great point tho about the non housewife shows vs housewife shows, the reunions cannot compare. I think the difference is the non housewife shows the cast are usually friends outside of the show whereas housewives they’re not always really friends until the cameras are up. Also, housewife’s get rewarded for being mean & shady if they do it right, a non housewife going off on another cast mate might not be received so well bc it’s usually out of character & gives “try hard.”

In Carl’s confessional during the season he didn’t say Lindsay said not to have Kyle. He said she didn’t say it but he knew it was implied. He is a weak man and she is hard work, I wouldn’t want to be with either of them. As for West, I think he really did like Ciara but maybe after three months of dating it just wasn’t going to work long term. It doesn’t mean he’s an awful person, we’ve all dated people for a few months and known it wouldn’t work

It seems like his last ditch effort to 'activate' her to justify his victim mentality. He seemed flustered when she would not overreact to his on camera efforts before. Maybe he thought surprising her on a day they hadn't planned to film would do the trick. As much as I have never been a fan of either, she has gained my respect for her growth. I am not sure how I would respond to that level of disrespect. All I can think of is how he belittled her career as an influencer claiming she made more as a woman. While women tend to get more brand deals they tend to get paid at least 30% less on those deals, so perhaps she used her experience in PR to negotiate better deals. Either way he 'read' as jealous and insecure about his own partner's success and used it to justify his own lack of ambition.

You guys are so obsessed with remaining “neutral” that you refuse to call Carl out. Lindsay was treated so unfair this reunion part 1 bc no one calls Carl out for straight up lying and gaslighting. It’s giving Katie & Schwartz! Nobody wants to hurt poor Carls feelings (a grown man mind you) but to h*ll with Lindsay’s! 🚮 There are situations during the season where Lindsay was wrong, end of. There were also situations where Carl was straight up wrong, yes that’s right. The only situation in which they’re both wrong is the one in which they thought getting married was a good idea.

Lindsey/production came up with 🌺 boy for filming the wedding, Lindsey wanted the on TV wedding she would be paid for & receive tons of attention/deals. Lindsey can't articulate bc her REAL story is shallow and greedy. I think her bravo produced bridzilla showed Carl who she really was. The same person who wanted to exploit a wedding and humiliate the men on highly publicized TV. And that's the real story.
