ahgase means baby bird in korea. Internationally we are called IGOT7. AH for I, GA for GOT, SE for 7..... their other MV have Birds representing their fans.

@@HiKpopNews It was originally IGOT7, but if you say it fast, it sounds like Ahgase, which means baby bird in Hangul. Hence why our symbols are little green birds (but if you ask Jin Young, we are shoebill storks HAHA)

@@HiKpopNews There is always room for more in the nest. The green color in the video is the color of the fandom light stick. Our fandom name is IGOT7. If pronounced with a Korean accent and dropping off the ending you get "Ah Gah Sey (ven)", or Ahgase. This is the word for little bird in Korean. You will see birds and feathers in many of the MVs as homage to the fandom. Our light stick is called an Ahgabong. The first part referring to the fandom name and the second part to the light stick. Our light stick has the ability to change colors from the fandom green to any other color on the color wheel. We are well know for being a friendly fandom that regularly changes the color to match the fandom color of other groups when GOT7 is performing in a multiple group venues. We do have an "official" fan club too, that can be joined during certain times by going to the JYPE website, but they and we don't require that for you to be part of the fandom. Please also know that many of the title tracks for the past few years have been written by the members, specifically the leader JB who was the one in the center of the spinning choreo on the floor. The members have all written and contributed in various degrees to many of the B side tracks for many years as well. They are all talented. Their live performances have an energy and a level of showmanship that belies their youth. Yugyeom, the youngest and the tallest also competed and won when he participated in Hit the Stage, a show focusing on dance and choreo. JB (under the name of def.), Yugyeom, and Youngjae (under the name ARS) also have released a number of mixed taped on SoundCloud. Jackson has his own label (Team Wang) and he promotes his solo work, much of which is in English, when the others promote in Japan. Jackson used to also promote with them in Japan, but for the past couple of years he has not because he was stretching himself too thin. Earlier Japanese releases included him. The Japanese fans still regularly include his name in the fanchants even though he isn't present. How cool and loyal is our fandom! The Japanese releases are in Japanese versus Korean and are marketed through Sony rather than JYPE. JB and Yugyeom are in a sub group called JUS2. It has more of an R&B flair, lining up closer with their mixtape music offerings. All the songs in their unit debut album are composed by the two of them. JB and Jinyoung (the one in the first chorus with the soft drop) were in a two person group before GOT7. That group JJ Project, is often referred to as a subunit, but it really came first. They did a comeback a couple of years ago with the album Verse 2. It is all self composed and beautiful. To see a huge growth in JJ Project check out "Bounce" and "Hooked" then jump forward to "Tomorrow Today," "On & On," and "I Don't Wanna know (the last two have an acoustic version that really highlights their vocals). The live version ofg Tomorrow Today shows a really unique mirror dance. Jinyoung started out using the stage name Junior (but don;t call him that unless you want trouble) because his name is Park Jinyoung, the same as JYPE's founder. Jinyoung is also an actor and has recently starred in the Korean drama "He is Psychometric. JB is often referred to as the Dad and Jinyoung the mom of the group. Youngjae is our sunshine and power vocals, Bambam the dabmaster turned Zumba instructor is also the fashionista of the group. Mark is our model. The rap line (Mark, Bambam and Jackson) are often referred to as Amerithaikong) because of they come from America, Thailand, and Hong Kong. These three speak English fluently. Jinyoung also does well with English and JB is becoming fairly proficient. Youngjae speaks Japanese fluently and the others are working on it, Bambam Thai (of course), and Jackson and Mark speak various Chinese dialects. They often do their own translating when on tour. They all, of course speak Korean. Jackson and Mark are known for doing MAT (martial arts trciking) and JB is a B-boy. When you said they sounded mature I almost laughed until I cried. Their music, choreo, work ethic, and interaction with others in their field is very professional, but these guys are the biggest crack heads that every lived. They are so "normal" and "real" it isn't funny. Thanks for doing this reaction. I am subscribing and will watch your other uploads, and will hope you react to more GOT7 in the near future.
