Back then, there were only three stations. We lived in NorCal, in the gold country foothills. We could only get reception for NBC. But in the late 60s, dad installed a new antenna that was directional. I then became a full time remote control-not just on/off/volume/horizontal/vertical, but I was charged to find the antenna’s sweet spot for each channel. We didn’t get a color TV until the mid 70s.

I got all but the very last one. I've never even heard of that show before. It's so funny how some of these theme songs made me remember what shows came on right before or after them. Some of my favorites weren't on here, like Gomer Pyle, My Three Sons, Dennis the Menace, Leave it to Beaver, Rawhide, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Dragnet, Gilligan's Island, Mr. Ed, The Courtship of Eddie's Father, Perry Mason, The Adventures of Superman, The Munsters, and my all time favorite... Kung Fu. 😃

@theexmann

@@roberthughes9856 Thats funny. Great minds think alike. What do you think of my slight obsession with the Avengers? I have the box set of the series. I didn't start watching them until they first went into syndication and thought it was super cool. Must have been early to mid 70s. Didn't find out about the Honor Blackman era until after college. I was first introduced to her as Pussy Galore. I'm a big Bond fan too. I don't have the movies, but I have the soundtracks. I guess I enjoy British TV. My latest binges are All Creatures Great and Small, Grantchester, and Call the Midwife. Brilliant!

I could not identify five of the tunes (due to having never watched the series), but not bad for a Brit. The Hawaii 5 O made me smile. When I was a police officer in the early 80's we modified one of the series catch phrases from "cuff him, Danno" to "cuff him and stuff him Danno" whenever we nicked a villain.

Trivia: Both Lorne Greene (Bonanza) and June Lockhart (Lassie) ended up flying around in outer space (Greene: Battlestar Galactica / Lockhart: Lost in Space). Although both their earlier roles were definitive pieces of Americana, neither was American. Another fun quiz that brought back my childhood (which took place in the 50's & 60's) And yes, I got them all (full disclosure I confused Daniel Boone for Davey Crokett for a second, and thought Rin-Tin-Tin was F-Troop) and am now OD'ing on the nostalgia. (recognizing Laramie and Bat Masterson provided the biggest nostagia hit, while Bonanza gave me the warm fuzzies...Sunday Night at mu house: The Wonderful World of Disney, Bonanza and Ed Sullivan 7pm, 8pm, 9pm,) I Love Lucy should have been in placed in the 'easy' category. It is still aired locally at least 3 times a day, so I think even most millennial kids would get it.

I had known most, except for the 1950’s programs like Rin-Tin-Tin, Laramie, and another.

Hey TV Show Quiz Channel - I caught you in a big mistake! That wasn't the theme from Bat Masterson you played, you played the theme from Maverick.

Where did the Lone Ranger take his trash? 🤔 “To the dump, to the dump, to the dump-dump-dump! To the dump, to the dump, to the dump-dump-dump! To the dump, to the dump, to the dump-dump-dump; to the dump, to the duuump-dump-dump!” 🤪

I thought the Dr Who theme should have been in the easy category as it is still on, and it’s opening credits is just a variation on the same theme
