I love that your channel is not only building RC cars but also the skill sets to master RC car building, such as brazing, soldering, 3-D scanning, and 3-D printing
Dude I'm actually in the market for a cheap entry level scanner. I'm designing my own parts and having them cut by send cut send. I tried using your old code, no dice lol Thank you for this video man!
I would not mind that light on my TX. The other stuff needs to be in a pocket for me, but that light and wheel are good ideas. For a joke, you did pretty good at throwing a good idea or two in there.
Just got mine in. Tried it on a part that was 3d measured with a blue light 3d scanner. At a diameter of 113.65 mm (verified diameter by blue light scanner) , the ferret measured 113.485. quite impressive really
That's a COOL idea for Tools, just a 4 way nut driver is all that needs added... Where's the print files to use LOL 😆 Thank's for Sharing Josh ⭐💯⭐ 👍😎👍 AOAH =Association of Addicted Hobbiest 🙏 SSPH =Stay Safe and Play Healthy My Friend 🎊🏁🤩🏁🎊
So while not perfect I have had some good scan. Just wondering if you have updated the firmware and how it is working for you? I just got my and never used it with the older firmware so I don't know what difference it made.
I have to admit I thought this whole thing was silly and over the top.... until I saw the Chapstick holder. I gotta say that really sold me! Now we just need Matt to make an infomercial for it.... "For just $199.99 you too can own the HD Thingamajiggy, now with EXCLUSIVE Chapstick holder!!". 🤣 All kidding aside, great video! That steering wheel is legit..... sell that bad boy! 🤓
You joke but I'd would print that(minus the can holder and pic rail) any chance of stl and build list lol one thing you should have added a little slot so you could ziptie some zipties to it
I have the creality cr 01 scanner and was blown away by the first scan of the front of my dark grey car in a dark garage even, large scans is what it does. I am thinking of also getting a scanlizard for smaller things and between the two should cover everything from coins to cars. Maybe another with lidar for topology mapping buildings, and the self driving giant mower project that won't run over anything or into anyone or anything . The sabretooth 24v rc controller running wheelchair motors and maybe tank like tracks eventually moving snow from the comfort of the living room, or while vacationing many tropical miles away. 🤔 Rock on.
