Piece by piece he puts it together, pretty simple, if something is complicated, then just make is smaller and smaller until its doable, then proceed, step by step to achieve it.
Nomad sculpt is actually pretty easy to use. Everything is labeled so there's not much you have to figure out on your own. It took me only 20 minutes to make something decent, compared to other apps where I spent hours trying to figure out how the app works
you can tell by how intentional the placement of each primitive shape is that you are incredibly prepared and know exactly how you’re gonna execute the model and it is a treat to see!
So like $15 US? That's not that bad, actually. I might have to get it and mess everything up because I'd have no idea what I'm doing 😅 They made it look so easy
YOU CAN DO 3D ART ON YOUR IPAD?!? I’ve been wanting to learn but all I ever like to use is my iPad and Apple Pencil with procreate so this looks right up my ally thank you for sharing!!!
Nomad is super fun and pretty easy to learn, I have an iPad Air and it works pretty well so long as I don’t try something super complicated. You can also export the models and paint them in procreate! It’s super cool. You should definitely try it out, I believe in you!

i thought the same, i think most of 3d artist have a complex about details of the process and the "correct" way to do a model, even if its just a toyart model. this relaxed and artistic workflow is inspiring af
I've been using Nomad too! The only thing is you can't really pose them and move them around well 🤔 but it's still really nice to use for putting ideas down just in your hand held device 🤭✨
Nomad is more of a 3D sculpting app, more like digital clay. Something like blender is more focused on animation and rigging which lets you add a skeleton and pose or animate the models. Theoretically if you made your character in a clean T pose in nomad you could export it to another app that does rigging and posing or even basic animation. I can’t help with that though because I’ve never done it and I don’t know if it’s even possible on iPad… but it’s worth looking into if you’re more interested in complex poses and finished renders. I do run into the same issue though, because it’s so much easier to work with everything mirrored for speed, symmetry.. etc. but then you end up with a boring mirrored pose that looks very artificial. I tend to just duplicate my layers once I have a nice base, chop off the limbs and move them around and then stitch it back together in the pose I want and clean it up. It’s brute force but it works pretty well for me. I just do as much as I can with symmetry on, and then start adding asymmetric details and then start chopping limbs! Haha you can go as general as you like by just adding a twist or lean to the body, do a bit further and chop limbs and move them around a little or go full crazy and start cutting and adjusting individual fingers and whatnot. It’s not actually as time consuming as you’d think… you already did most of the work, you’re just cutting an arm off, repositioning it with the gizmo tool, and then cleaning up the cut/join area. So just keep that in mind when you sculpt because an “A” pose with slightly bent arms works best for this. If you know what pose you want ahead of time, sculpt the starting pose in the position of the least articulated limbs; for instance if they have one hand on the hip and the other waving, sculpt the pose with the wave first, and then you can cut the other arm off later and add the more extreme bend and twist to get the hand onto the hip. Start with the most “basic” pose and work from there. It’s kinda hard to explain… I hope this helps. I know it isn’t perfect, but it’s something that works and I hope it helps.
Hi, you are very good doing 3D works. This is 3D sculpting though, modeling in the other hand is more likely means poly modeling. This is more of like a sculpting in irl. Didn't intend anything just wanted to be specific for those who are trying to learn 3D. They could have a significant difference when entering 3D industry. I'm trying to learn it too ✨ App used was Nomad Sculpt available on IOS and Android.
I made a shortcut in my phone so I can just type a few letters and it automatically pastes “I’m using Nomad Sculpt on iPad Pro 2022 👍🏾” - I have to paste that about 50 times a day on this video thread! 😁👍🏾
