I was just like you and had just had these thoughts already but the problem with me is that I have again developed compulsive behavior {msaterb*} which stops me. what I have come to know is that you talk to yourself like this when you are feeling exhausted, hopeless, and a little depressed and you are just mindful of the things that really matter, it's a blissful feeling really loving one. never forget these felling's when you find happiness, if you do forget this, it will be like losing a dear friend. {I may be wrong}

Life is not how we imagine it,Thea. I wish it was a fairy tale but it's not. We seem to have these sort of feelings when we are at comfort. When we have all the necessities and comforts of life. Like if you take a ruined houseless (not home because,home is a state of mind) person who's starving,with broken teeth which are hurting,HE or She can't appreciate or even register beauty in nature,does not matter how pretty it may be. If you're having a migraine,even Mozart or Chopin will irritate you in your head. And raw nature is is extremely merciless,we as humans have been making advancements to protect ourselves from it,so far. When we say Nature then that includes everything. Volcanic eruptions,floods,earthquakes,drouts,hurricanes,lethal storms,predatory mammals,snakes, poisonous species in plant kingdom and the list goes on. If we just subtract aircrafts and cars,which fall under material world,we'll be in trouble. Or just trying to make fire without any modern tools,again the list goes on and on a much bigger scale if you also subtract electricity and fuels,then we are totally doomed. Pretty simple and basic,nothing complicated in there. So no,we can not be in nature in that sense. To a billionaire,yes a garden is of interest. And also the suburbs and gated communities which have that part of nature integrated within them are pretty expensive to buy and live in the first place. And no patch on earth is actually free,it's owned by someone. All this race and everyone running a marathon,if we ask anyone that for what,how many will answer that ,for for having a 100 trees or 10,000 roses. And here's the catch, that upon a closer look,we naturally tend to like material or physical stuff. How many will choose a base model Ford over a BMW M series. Don't we naturally feel attracted to BMW. or what ever. Which begs the question that we might we something that is hidden from our oneself. I don't know or understand the idea of being some divine beings,I think of us more like machines. A guy named Arthur C. Clarke' long ago said "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic",and it makes sense. What ever is out there,god or what ever,it or they must be using some tech,to us it seems like some divine magic because we were never designed to comprehend that level of technology. Even just switching terminology changes the meaning. Angels become Aliens,Haunting becomes invasion. And as long as greed and or jealousy goes,they are also built into us. We can forcefully suppress those feelings but they are a part of us. And those are the one that keep the economy going. If someone bought something and I like it,I want it too. It's shocking to a level where we have cinnamon-flavoured dental floss on one hand and starving people on the streets. That line was by the way was by George Carlin,if you are not familiar with him. And another aspect on nature vs artificial is that what we consider artificial is also natural, like metals and everything,including plastic,it's a bi product but it all comes out of earth,so it's natural. Everything is natural,it's just somethings are not good for us or our health. That where we separate and raw the line. That's my take on this topic. Did not mean to offend you at all or anything like that,you see it your way and I see it my way.

And what to say about human gods. That's also pretty important. We don't know if there is a god or not,but people certainly make humans as some sort of gods. Like movie people for example for bands. Millions and and million of people bowing down to a bunch of people. And they they dont; even care about them. Even if someone is a good actor or a singer,just watch or listen and appreciate the talent and that's about it. You have already paid for their services. But people are like crazy for them,and they even charge you for getting a photo with them or a signature. Seriously......? I mean Jesus and Micheal Jackson are more or less equally famous and praised,or other bands too,people can do what ever they like but at least than they should be clear on Jesus vs bands aswell. If you worship a stone idol,it will not give you anything but it won;'t cause you any harm either,but when you worship a human,He or She will ruin you. I'm sorry ,Thea but the world is pretty distorted. And if for seeing all that,I'm someone negative,than there is nothing I can do about it. There are good things too,but countable. And they also get affected by what dominates. I agree with you and wish that we care fro each other,but we are afraid of each other,how many safety precautions and measures we take in our routine lives and how we build things.
