I'm so glad that more and more Korea show are taking Malaysia in their route map for overseas filming, more exposure on how diverse our country, live in harmony although we are multicultural, multiracial country... you can find sooooo many interesting attractions in Malaysia, from well develop cities/ urban life, to richness of culture/ food etc, beautiful natures (especially the islands in Borneo) etc~ you can even have various type of program coming here in Malaysia~ plus most Malaysian are super friendly~ and if you can speak English although just the basic, you'll have no problem travelling in Malaysia~ I think Flower's vocalist (Koh Yu Jin) also came to Malaysia (Kota Kinabalu) to play golf and he also got an award few years ago in an event in Kota Kinabalu~ and recently Yoo Seung Ho (actor) also came to Malaysia (Sarawak) for Discovery Channel Korea~
@@wongsifui2321 Yes, you can. I'm from Borneo (Sarawak state) and have crossed Brunei a few times before to go to Sabah. If you live outside of Borneo, you just need to fly to Miri and enter Brunei through land (if you want to).
@@dellaryn if you want to go to Kalimantan provinces, yes, you can use land transportation through Sarawak (I don't really know if you can go through Sabah). However, if you plan to go Java island, Riau/islands, Sumatra, Papua, Bali, etc, you need to use air transportation (Idk if you can go with sea/water transportation(s)).
@@dellarynFor ferries: To Sumatra can go via Melaka, Port Dickson or Muar, common destination is like Dumai. From Johor Bahru in the other hand can go to Batam/Tanjung Pinang in Riau Islands.
You can across Malaysia to Indonesia through Sarawak, Malaysia to Philippines through Sabah, Malaysia to Thailand through Kelantan and Malaysia to Singapore through Johor
I'm still thinking on how to cross to Philippines via Sabah.... cause I live in Brunei and I never knew this.. I think you meant crossing using the sea/air?
as a johorian its so weird to see jb on korean shows like these, because whenever people come to malaysia they always go to kuala lumpur (or maybe i just havent come across those that don't)...also when they reached the hotel i KNEW that it will be forest city, i just knew it 😐
@@zhenmeiheng4917yea it had became a ghost town after the pandemic but I saw an article somewhere stating that they're trying to revive it? Not sure, the last time I visited was way before pandemic. But comparing to what I saw then and what I saw in the video, there's a visible 'downgrade' like it was not well upkept
Korean singer also lives in Malaysia too..His name is han byul...My favourite korean male singer forever...I am just want to say he is very great singer...And welcome to our country Malaysia...Enjoy your trip ☺️☺️
not only Hanbyul and Isaac, but South Korea's actress Chae Song Ah also live in Malaysia, if I'm not mistaken she has a restaurant in Johor as she (and her family) live in Johor
The taxi fare is quite expensive considering johor is quite near to Singapore 😲 if any tourist is watching this, I think it's better to take other transportation like bus/ train or even airplane & can directly fly to many different states in Malaysia. Unless u have few people travel together, then I think taxi is fine
For any travellers to Singapore and Malaysia, taking a bus to Malaysia from Singapore will still be a better choice. You will regret paying that overpriced taxi fare and getting stuck in the causeway traffic jam during peak hours, weekends and holiday seasons which the video failed to show. Train is definitely the best choice, so plan ahead if you can.
can understand why it is precious for them. They cant move in and out of the country by land freely due to North Korea being their neighbours and it is locked. In a way, Singaporeans and Malaysian really have to cherish this freedom....
@@yassin5255yydepends. During peak hour, 1-2 hours is normal. So do not cross the border during peak hour 5am-9am, 4pm-8pm. Tapi kalau waktu biasa tu. 15-30 minit dah boleh lepas border
felt like they were overcharged. i think in general the cost is only half of what was asked of them :) dont feel shy in bargaining if you are planning to take a taxi too
that’s why when kpop idol do Asia tour but not included Malaysia we will say “please cross the Singapore border then you will arrive Malaysia just less than one hour” 😂😂 p/s : Lee Mijoo please come to Malaysia 😭
Bukan x nak, tapi paham2 sendiri...briged bawang kita sume boleh kata terpaling support artis local...so kalo invite artis luar lagi2 artis korea,paham2 sendiri lah diorang punya meroyan tu camne
1:88 actually there are 4, (if you do not want to go straight to Johor Bahru) you can take a plane from either Changi Airport or Seletar Airport to get there.
and then north into thailand for under RM100. You can take the bus/train there from KL. If you have even more money, you can take the bus/train from KL to vietnam, cambodia, laos, myanmar. If you're in east malaysia, take bus from Miri to Brunei. In fact if your nationality is any of the ASEAN countries you can just DRIVE to those places yourself, just make sure you have a passport, driving license, and other documents required by the country.
Lmao Forest City is not even upperscale rich. Go to China and it’s some of the cheapest overnight stay you could get. Same with Country Garden. Don’t be fooled guys. Johorean here too who likes traveling and see things.
Soon you can cross the border between Singapore and Malaysia via a rapid transit rail network - the first of its kind in this region! It is as easy as travelling via subway.
Yeah, but some Singapore people still like to illegally buy subsidised petrol meant for only Malaysian in Malaysia’s petrol stations bcoz it’s pricey in Singapore…most people caught doing this acts own luxury cars though 😂
..and some Malaysians still like to illegally bring drugs to Singapore and when they get caught, they suddenly change themselves as mentally disabled whereas when entering Singapore they are normal.
@@kenhew4641 Haha!!! I hear the same exact word from Japanese expats here 🤣 "Bright North Korea", to be exact. Apparently the FIRE community is pretty much in agreement of that sentiment, they pretty much know which country it is the second you mention Bright North Korea 😂
I mean if for $90 they take you from Singapore to your own personal destination, and plus the fact they were carrying around their luggage, i'd say it's a reasonable price factoring in the convenience. Wonder how the causeway jam situation was like tho
Dunno if you're Singaporean but that's an insane price!! It would be cheaper to take a bus (SGD$2) and then take a taxi from within Malaysia to your personal destination (prices within Malaysia are very cheap so I'm assuming $10, 20 at the maximum). The bus takes exactly the same direct route as the taxi, it's comfortable and super quick and there are no extra stops.
As much as i would consider $90 singapore dollars to be expensive, it’s wiser if they should spend $60 to larkin sentral and from there take grab to their hotel which is more cheaper
Gotta love that there's no need to check the passports because Singapore has likely not used any ink stamps even for most international passports and is so secure you don't worry about it. haha.
90 SGD or RM 300 actually very expensive for us Malaysia. Maybe we are cheap people. I don't know what Singaporean think about the that price. Trip to Singapore from JB usually cost me RM 10-30 max.
Singaporean here, I'm totally willing to pay for comfort/speed, but why would you hand over SGD $90 when there are soo many equally fast and comfortable options available for $5-15😦
