*OMG!* Over 30 years ago, I was DJing at a big sports/dance bar in a posh hotel in Tampa. On Sundays, they had a casino night. I loved this, because while most people watched the NFL games, the rest played the casino games, and nobody was trying to dance. So, I could throw on mix tapes I'd made, and go and gamble with the fun money. The manager was cool about it, I just wasn't allowed to win anything at the end of the night when they counted up everyone's chips to see who'd won the most. The prizes were like t-shirts and bottles of champagne. This is where and when I first learned how to play casino games. I played Blackjack mostly, but when those tables filled up, I wandered over to the Craps table and the dealer was cool enough to start teaching me the game. He also taught me either this system, or one nearly identical, and I have *_always_* been trying to remember it. The only part I could remember was that you were basically betting against yourself using the don't come bets, and playing both pass/don't pass to on the come out. But, I couldn't remember the rest! Quite often, I could turn my $10k chit into $25k or more, and of course, _dreamed_ of doing it on a real table someday (I never have). Since I've been watching your channel, I've dreamed of coming there, describing this system to Daddy-Dave, and seeing if he knew what it was and could show me again! This is *SO* cool that you showed this today! The stuff I have learned here, _especially_ about Roulette, has given me a running dream of coming to Vegas and not only meeting all of you guys in person but trying some of your strategies on real tables. I can't tell you how much joy and escape you have given me over the last few years as I took care of my Mom in her end days, along with all the nightmares of covid It was the hardest thing I've ever endured. The escape you brought me was something I looked forward to every day, and it helped me more than you will ever know. Thanks, you guys.

You can lose. You absolutely can lose. On your 7:30 mark in time on the video: the bullfrog loses $30. Shooter comes out with Point of 8 and then immediately comes back and rolls the 8 - your down $30 on your $25 increments through the DC. I typically play a $1k on the DC having to lay $1,200 on the Dont Pass. A bullfrog can hurt you and when you look at it from a money management viewpoint; it is not worth the risk.

You're more likely to tip if you win so wanting you to lose doesn't make sense. Most dealers also don't care if you're counting cards. That's not their job, their job is to deal smooth accurate game. Their supervisors job is to catch card counters. The dealer might hint at the supervisor if you're not tipping while counting cards though.

I"m confused, this only works if you hit a 7 (a bit later on) or don't hit the point. If you hit the point, your pass bet won't make up for your Don't loss. So if you have a 6 or 8 point, you have a good chance of losing it seems.

I used to play something like this, but then they changed the machine craps game(My casinos don't have live craps) and they programmed the machine so you cannot bet like that with a DC and a Place Or Buy bet. I had notified the floor manager that something was wrong with the machine and they basically told me the machine is right and any dealer would tell you that you cannot bet like this. Sad as it worked faily well for me.

I wished this video was a little bit longer so there would be more scenarios that could come into play. First off when they had at least three DC bets on three point numbers and they also placed $15 on 4 & 10, $20 on 5 & 9, and $24 on 6 & 8 (not shown in the video) my question is what do you do when let's say the dice rolls on a point twice again? Say i.e. 4 gets rolled before 7 out, this means that the $25 from the DC is lost but you would win $27 for the 4 being rolled (profit of $2). Now my question is do you make another DC bet of $25 to get anywhere between 2 to 3 total DC bets at any given point to get maximized return or don't rebet the DC? Now my second question is at any given moment when you're up a little from this strategy is would it make sense to press on any of the bets at all? And my last question is to protect the Pass/Don't Pass Line bet, it would be smart to bet a hard 12 as a hedge, say like a $1 minimum 12 crap bet to win $30 back to cover the possible $15 loss if a 12 gets rolled on the come out. Any other little things we should know?
@theadvantageplayer7777
@theadvantageplayer7777 Год назад
In addition to the add on, I have thought seriously of ways to tweak this strategy even further. For example, after the come out roll when a point is established, you would bet on the DC with $25. Now it would make sense to cover that DC as a hedge with a C&E bet of $10 which means when the second roll happens to be an 11 then it covers the $25 with a 3:1 payout for $30. When he says you cannot lose at 7:30 that's incorrect. That's where the hedge of playing C&E would make sense to cover the initial first DC bet.
@theadvantageplayer7777
@theadvantageplayer7777 Год назад
Last question is simple, how do you adjust your strategy to a hot point shooter?
@toxsickdog
@toxsickdog Год назад
@@theadvantageplayer7777 I would rather put $2 on the (15:1)YO & forget the $5 (7:1) C&E bet. The DC bet loses when a YO is rolled, But makes $ when a Craps is rolled. I guess the C&E would be okay if You are looking for more action.

When the button is off, a pass or don't pass line can be played (after that a point will pay pass line, 7 will pay don't pass, before point is made, don't pass wins 2,3 loses on 7,11 and push on 12, Pass Line wins 7,11 loses on 2,3,12. The payouts on 4,5,6,8,9,10 are more from out side to middle (4,10 pays 2 to1 because they are more rare to roll where 5,9 pays 3 to 2 and 6,8 pays 6 for 5 because they are a more common roll) It's exact opposite if you are betting for the 7. You can bet on numbers any time you want, you don't have to play the pass or don't pass. You can pull your bet's anytime, except if you played the pass line or played the Come bet. Don't pass and Don't come can be removed anytime you want, but you have the best odds if you go that route and should never remove them. Prop bet's are one time bets that you can bet anytime you want, field is a one time bet anytime you want, and hardway bets you can bet anytime you want, those will sit there until a 7 rolls out, or you hit the hardway and win, lose if the dice combination equals to the hardway bet (2,2 hardway bet 1,3 would make you lose the 2,2 because it's also equals the 4) It's easy once you see the structure of the game.
@blake_lively_matters6553
@blake_lively_matters6553 Месяц назад
It's easy to understand once you realize that the dealer places each player's bets according to where they are standing around the table. You don't really need to know anything about the bets in the center of the table because they are all high house percentage bets and should be avoided anyway. Other than that, there is only the Pass Line, Don't Pass, Come and Don't Come (which are the exact same as Pass and Don't Pass, except they are not on the first roll, or 'Comeout' roll), then there are the box numbers (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, and 10), which can be 'placed'. The 4 and 10 should be 'bought' though, which means that you pay 5% of your bet in order to ensure that you get paid the true odds of two to one, should the number hit. That's why this video sucks (one of the reasons) - the host tells the bettor to place $15 on the 4 and ten after they are rolled. If, then, that number were to hit, the 15 would only be paid at 9 to 5, instead of true odds of 10 to 5 (or two to one). By betting $20 instead of 15, you can then pay another dollar (5%) and get paid $40 when it hits. Odds bets are optional and casinos vary in how many multiples of your original bet are allowed to be bet as odds. Some places go as high as 100x. Others keep it low at 5x, and others still lower at what is known as 3-4-5, meaning if the point is 4 or 10, you can bet 3x odds; 5 or 9, 4x, and 6 or 8, 5x. I'm sure you understood every word of this rambling explanation. Coffee does this to me, damned instant, I made it too strong.

I'm not sure what his deal was because I never really had any big rolls where im pressing up and taking down a lot. Maybe just a bad day? But when I cashed out the pitboss stared me down too I won like a whole $43 dollars total or something lol I'm like ??? alright I feel like I'm not wanted in this game at all.

The Do/Don't get's you to where you can cover the Don't Come. In this case only the 11 will take you out of the DC. If a 7 rolls while in the DC and you don't have a Don't Pass bet, it works against the strategy. The end result is 3 don't any number out of the DC, and then playing against the place bets. In this case you want to play the Do/Don't

The bubble craps game I play on will not let you place both a pass and don't pass bet.
@UnknownScorpion
@UnknownScorpion Год назад
ya everywhere I've seen they block most of the hedge bets on the bubble craps. And if you play the don't pass alone then after a point is established it also won't let you make a place or buy bet on that point # either. But what it does let you do is when the don't come bet travels to a # you can buy/place that #. So for that part of this strat, you just wait for a point to get established and then run the DC bets and then keep covering them with buys on the 4,5,9,10 and place on the 6,8. This strat is sorta headed into the territory of how I play. I start with all across bets and run continuous DC bets. do a progression, up a unit on loss and after a winning session regress units or if back in profit then reset back to 1 unit again. the beauty of this is normally after a few loss rounds you catch a decent 5+ roll session and if it covers most of the numbers and gets some repeaters, especially 4 & 10 then your right back into or near profit and with this strat when you reach that point you do not regress the bets mid session, heck no all that beauty setup is already in play that's what you play it for, especially on electronic tables where you can increment by $1 that's the time to start pressing all of the buy & place bets by like $1 to $3 on each hit, absolutely awesome setup when you get on a banger of a roll.

@@UnknownScorpion I’m going to Vegas soon and was hoping to play this on bubble craps. Can you explain your strategy a little more? So $5 across ($6 on 6 & 8) what would be your DC bet amount on the continuous bets?
@UnknownScorpion
@UnknownScorpion Год назад
@@matthewclippard8680 I usually start off with other strategies and when I'm ready to regress them after some hits sometimes I switch to this continuous dc style. you just buy/place the same $ amount across the 6 box numbers and when a point is set, include the dc bet for that same amount. when your already in profit and doing this, as the numbers hit, bump up the buy or place bet by $1 or whatever your like so on a repeater they get a bit more and on red the bet is mostly covered. Your in good shape when 3+ are covered especially with 4 & 10. sometimes I get this progression up high and I'll include the horn high on the 11 and the same bet in the field, then whatever the horn and field add up to, make sure all the 5,6,8 are gonna win double the horn and field loss. you get on a banger roll like this with $25's to $50's on the bets and you'll see some wild swings in profit / deficit. keep control and know when to walk, if your revenge betting to make up losses stop & cash out it's time to take a break. Here's another one, I just got home from playing this and doubled the bankroll. start with $6 each / 36 across and power press. you treat the 4 & 10 as a pair and treat the 5,6,8,9 as a set. when 4 or 10 hit, press them $3 each. when inside hits, press the 4 inside bets $3 each. Keep pressing until new high bankroll is reached and reset the bets back to the base again. if red shows within the 1st 3 presses, I'll repeat bet, otherwise if bets were pressed higher than 3 times just start over at $6's again, cuz you gotta keep protecting that bankroll, you can't keep fighting for new bankroll high if you keep pressing away and repeating them after a loss that's a bankroll killer. good luck!

explain how you can overcome a 1.5% house advantage? Let's see your mathematical proof. The longer you play, the more likely you will lose... which is why for the life of me I do not understand why casinos are so afraid of $5 craps. I play with a $200 bankroll. That's all I can afford. at a $15 table, If I seven out without hitting anything, I'm leaving the table. If I hit a lot of numbers before I seven out, I'm leaving the table. Lose/lose situation for the casino. I stay WAY longer at $5 tables.

I was a dice dealer at one time, so this is based on experience: Some players may not like you place bets on DCs, and actually verbally object to it. My response would be some form of the following statement: "Fuck you, this is a free country." Lastly, ALWAYS tip the table i.e. the dealers. This is Las Vegas; everything depends on tips. By tipping, you keep the dealers happy, they don't give a shit how much money you make, it is NOT their money! Think of tipping the way you think of tipping the waitresses EVERY time you order a drink. And, if you don't tip the waitresses, then you are either a Canadian or a flaming idiot or both; expect to get sick after a few drinks and no tipping!
