@brickybeast Even meat eaters care about animals. Not all, Yet most of them. Remember every living thing eats or absorbs some way or another, other things. Some people are ment to eat meat. Some are not so much. People can try to be vegan all they want too. It is healthier to have some meat in your diet. I believe all animals should be treated well. Even one raised for a food source. And we all should repect each other in how we choose what we eat. Most bad treatment happens in big corporate farming. Not all. Just alot of it does.
@@ThePolish_Crusader they dont hate the taste of meat. they hate how its made. thats why they make other ways to make food that tastes similar to meat.
Damn i would expect it to be cheaper than regular meat cause its plants but an impossible burger patty at the store is more than regular ground beef 🤦so i actually believe this comment
@@zhangwei2969 According to the Department of Agriculture, processed food are any raw agricultural commodities that have been washed, cleaned, milled, cut, chopped, heated, pasteurized, blanched, cooked, canned, frozen, dried, dehydrated, mixed or packaged - anything done to them that alters their natural state. In this instance, the keywords are cooked, mixed and packaged.

@@ionutvlasceanu8288 So did god breed cows into their modern form where they are either milk machines or slabs of meat, or was that a couple thousand years of humanity doing their own Thing?
Thats because most dystopian worlds usually have some form of mass produced "nutrient paste" thats made to look like normal food but its only to hide the disguesting paste it was made from.....atleast its better then the "protien cubes" from snowpiercer
This reminds me of the line in Subnautica where the robot says that animal meat is just as safe to eat as the synthetic foods the player’s character is used to
"It is common for those accustomed to synthetic foods to be repulsed by eating an animal carcass. Remember that humans survived this way for millennia. You can too." I love basically all of the writing in Subnatica and below zero. I think my favourite is the databank entry about the 'What can we learn from the hive mind of Strader VI?'" We would do well, as scientists, to remember that our goal is not to paint the world as we see it, but to see it as it truly is."

i have never heard that from someone who calls themselves a vegan. paleo, organic maybe, but oreos are vegan. their main concern is the use of animal products
I doubt this will ever take off, it’s more expensive to grow all those ingredients than to simply get cows which make more meat and make more of themselves.
Imagine you get home from work, you're really hungry, you go to make dinner, and then the damn printer hits you with the "Low fat cartridge." notification, even thought you didn't even WANT the damn fat
It won’t cook anything without it, so you have no choice but to buy the fat amongst other things I’m sure, including colors. It’s gonna be just like a regular printer, always needing ink or in this case fat too. 😂
Imagine you're a slave mate, and you come home from your slave work, and you wanna have nice slave dinner. Have fun gaslighting yourself that youre indeed no slave ;)
@@xYzBuLlet im saying, the titanic submarine sinking was a distraction while the FDA approved lab grown meat and in order for the cells to reproduce fast enough they need to use precancerous cells and that's kind of dangerous don't you think? And OP, the fat is what holds together the printed stuff, just like how you need to use milk to bake a cake. the milk contains fat.
@@MyStomachHurtsbutokI don’t get why the hesitance. Because they may lie? Companies already sometimes lie about food, what they use in it, the proportions, how they source it. I don’t get it?
I’m just saying. We live in a dystopia if I have to tell my future lover that I’ll be right back, I gotta grab cartridges to refill my printer so I can make chicken
Of all the problematic developments one could call dystopic, this seems like it would be very low on the list… imagine 50 years ago if someone said the same thing about frozen meals.
@@6ThreeSided9 Until the cartridges come in different flavors and maybe introducing the ability to create different textures in the print I can't see this as anything more than a gimmick and certainly not a widespread marketable product (like frozen food)
This isn't a steak. This is an amalgamation of several different crops amassed and broken into a protein blob. It's the symbol of human contempt over the natural order. It's hubris manifest. Said that, I want one with extra fat
Yes the animals are selectively bred ....pumped with hormones and antibiotics and put on a conveyor belt to be processed..... welcome to the future folks !
yeah we are but vegans think otherwise, even though they kill about as much animals as we do just so they can get their stupidass plants to eat and feel better about themselves.@@KaiCross
@@burningtank160 dont everything got random chemicals nowadays? Also animals are often fed with soy, so you might get the "soy chemicals" anyways. Antibiotika infested meat is also a thing. So for me its still meat alternatives > meat but meat's just too tasty to quit for me
