Zac Efron must have been a very busy actor because obviously he took the part as Link in hairspray but also he was filming high school musical as Troy at roughly the same time so he must been here, there and everywhere that year lol. XD
Every time I see this it makes me so happy and sometimes makes me cry. The making of these musicals is so beautiful and wish I would’ve pursued a singing/dancing/musical career ;’(

Really? Of course it was just acting. They showed the run-through of that scene in this video. The point was to show them kissing on live tv and she realizes her mom probably saw it all.

I loved this movie, and I didnt understand why. Later I found out I was raised listening to this song from the Drag Queen Named Divine, who was ironically Tracy's mom in the original film. The film is amazing, this is when HD was brand new and the quality is still there. This is probably one of the last pieces of film that I loved before Film got too FILMY. The 4k movies and whatnot arent my cup of tea
