Definitely not Guns N’ Roses. As others have said maybe it’s Steven’s band. The singer is great and is incredibly close to axl!! As a guitar player myself and a big fan of slash I could tell those solos weren’t him. Definitely in a slash style but it’s just not him.
Agreed. Not signture slash. I enjoy stephens singer. He actually sounds better than axl these days. I think axl destroyed his voice with smoking and a 3 - 3 1/2 yr long Tour of illusion's. Steven has groove and rock n roll. Half of illusion's goes to soppy and glam. I liked rock n roll roses. Not the 15 piece Big brass band pop n roses.

But maybe regarding axl’s voice, seems like a difficult vocal style to maintain for any extended period of time, and especially as one gets older. Even in GnR prime sometimes to me it seemed like it was tough to pull off regularly, probably because it’s like screaming and screetching. It always seemed a bit hit or miss, sometimes sounding like skelator. He sounded good with the AC/DC tour but that might have been a last blast, since then he seems to use the falsetto voice 90% of the time for high register stuff. I also like Steven’s drumming better and obviously AFD better than the illusion albums. So good tunes on the illusion albums but many that aren’t so great.

Steven es tan querido por su sonido único en los primeros discos de la banda. Pero para los Your Ilusion, definitivamente el indicado era Matt Sorum, una máquina demoledora y sigue vigente. Los dos grandes talentos.
Para mi la estructura musical del los use se adapta mejor al estilo de matt, más técnico y en esa época muy pesado, a pesar que el sonido no era heavy, tenía una dureza perfectamente producida. Una locura total!! Si abre visto el solo de matt mil veces jajaj hermoso y al pecho!!!! Todos queríamos ser matt sorum. Batero versátil puede tocar todo. A mi entender no es un virtuoso, el tipo sabe poner el condimento exacto, como slash otro escritor y ejecutor de la nota justa. Que épocas!!! Que discos!!!! Pocos y épicos. Hasta el spaguetti me vuela el coco jajaja hermosa adolescencia escuchando a estos dementes únicos... los guns suenan a los guns. Pocas bandas han logrado eso... viva los gunsss and fucking roses. O Steve Addler foi o melhor baterista do Guns n Roses.Ele não tinha a técnica do Mat,mas ele tinha um swing é uma pegada forte tipo John Bonham que o Mat não tinha.

Esse take não seria definitivo. Estava em evolução. Acredito que o Adler iria impor seu ritmo e mudaria as entradas e viradas ao longo deste desenvolvimento. Até os vocais ainda estavam em desenvolvimento, pois apresenta diferenças do que foi gravado depois, frases diferentes e finalizações diferentes.. Não ficaria igual ao Mat Sorum, ficaria igual ao Steven Adler, para mim, muito melhor. O peso, os pratos, tudo ... Um banda de garagem de fato.... Mas Axl queria uma pegada pop rock.... Pois é.... Steven sempre foi o melhor. Escute essa prataria galera, é muito Rock Hard Rock fodahhhhh

I think Mr.Scrotum actually copied Steven Adler's recordings and made them his own when Popcorn already had nearly done it or was on the way. Shame ,If Steven played U.Y. I it would have been burning.
Sí vamos a la línea de historia de Guns recordemos que él tocaba doble bombo y una batería más completa, en las sesiones de ensayo de AFD los mismos compañero de banda Izzy , Slash lo limitaron a tocar.. quitándole cuerpos y platillos a su batería dejandolo solo con tres cuerpos y dos platillos, y aún así grabo el mejor disco debut de la historia sin ningun redobles o rulos de batería..

Não sou estúpido o suficiente para não saber que a música foi escrita por Izzy Stradlin. Insisto, a música é originalmente de Adler e Matt a replicou adicionando seus próprios arranjos.
Essa linha de bateria é bem da hora, mas a versão do Matt é bem melhor, apesar dessa ser legal é muito simples perto da que foi pro disco, os arranjos e linhas a mais do Matt fazem muita falta. A voz é muito boa mesmo, mas não me parece o Axl, tem muitos algos diferentes...

@@Bansidhe that’s correct. It is one of the first songs they wrote. For some reason they didn’t record it for Appetite, but they refer to it on the innersleeve with the lyric “with your bitch slap rappin’ and tour cocaine tongue, you get nothing done” great track. And great to hear Steven playing!
This is obviously not Guns n' Roses. It is very likely that several early recordings of You Could be Mine may exist but none of them has leaked so far (none is in circulation)

@@erredoffo É a banda do Steven Adler! Ele tem os direitos de tocar essas musicas já que foi ele que fez as linhas originais da bateria, que logo depois o Matt Sorum veio e regravou. Varias músicas dos Illusion 1 e 2 foram gravadas com o Steven e tem demos pra comprovar. Você está totalmente por fora!
