I can see why I haven’t heard this specific trio song this yet. Clearly it’s been kept hidden for our health. All three alone can deviate with how iconic they are but TOGETHER??
I just saw LaChanze three times in Trouble In Mind on broadway and am so blessed to have this recording of her singing even more, those high notes are soo mmmmmmm
look her up on youtube, she is as big a broadway star as TV. A tony winner who starred in the recent revival of She Loves Me (which was filmed and is streaming) (Tony nom), the revival of Nine (Tony win) and Grand Hotel (Tony nom), as well as this first Company revival, the original bway Starlight Express, the SJP revival of Once Upon a Mattress, and Guys & Dolls on the West End, as well as notable non-bway turns as Lola in Damn Yankees at Encores and Mabel in Mack & Mabel at LA's version of Encores. She is absolutely amazing. And if you haven't seen her in her other TV series Ally McBeal and Th Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, you need to check those out (especially Kimmy)!

The show started previews in August, opened in October, and closed in December, amassing 43 previews and 68 regular performances. It was nominated for the TONY for Best Revival of a Musical, and Veanne Cox was nominated for the TONY for Best Featured Actress in a Musical and the Drama Desk for Outstanding Featured Actress in a Musical.
