To all the new subscribers - welcome to the magic. I also arrived here from the Pethericks, don't know one end of a horse to the other but this has become my favourite channel. I love all that the Moons do and have come to care very much about all the horses. Please hit the Like button as it really helps. xx
What you do is beyond magic! Thank you for dedicating your life to save those beautiful and wonderful souls! 🙏❤ You are true heroes! 5 years ago when our daughter - who was a dressage rider at a fairly high level decided to go to university in in the capital of our country we had to decide what to do with our horses. We had 3 at that time.. We agreed we could not sell them. They were family members. But it is expensive to have horses. But we have always lived by the rule that they worked for us during training and competitions. But after that the time was their own. To be free on the fields and socialize with other horses. During all the years of riding. And they loved it! ❤ We found a cheep place to keep them. I had to do everything my self. There were no service. That went fine for a couple of years. Unfortunately we lost our youngest horse. 6 y.o. 😢 The one we bred ourselves. Due to intestinal loop 😢That was heartbreaking. Later on I had to find another place for the 2 others cos to my physics. I have osteoarthritis in both knees. So I couldn't continue due to pain, lack of strength and balance. Then I found a horserescue like yours. Close to our home. I didn't donated our horses to them. But I pay for my horses to live there. The payment goes to the horses who lives there. Horses from grim stories like your horses. Except this is for all horses in Denmark, not just elite horses. So there are a lot of different horses living there. All with a sad story behind them. Moving my horses there almost 3 years ago is the best I have ever done for them. They loved their new life with gigantic fields - with hills, woods and lakes and lots of friends to socialize with. Our old pony at 28 - looking splendid - comes in the barn every night because she needs more food due to missing teeth so she can not eat enough hey anymore. She needs feeding 4-5 times a day with porridge/mash. But the other a beautiful danish warmblood lived on the fields with his friends all day and night. He loved it so much. They have a large barn they can come and go into as they want. Unfortunately we had to let him go a year ago. He had an injury with his hoof that couldn't be cured and he was under so much pain. I did everything I could to save him, but in the end the vet said I had to let go. There was nothing more he or the farrier could do for him. It broke my heart 😢But I know he had the best life we could have given him in his last 2 years. I am so happy that I found this place. He found so many friends (and sweethearts 😉) in the big heard. He became 22. I am so thankful to people like you who dedicate your life to rescue horses and make their last years as happy as they can be. Thank you so much Moon family for everything you do❤❤❤ You are true heroes! Nothing less! ❤
I cried angry and sad tears when I saw the state they were in and now I cry tears of joy because of the difference you, The Magical Moons, have made to them. Thank you as much. 🏴
The look in Grace's eyes tell the story of when she showed up and now how happy she is. I grew up with horses and love them so much. Thank you for doing this for them and all others who need to die with dignity and happiness at the end of their lives.
CALLING OUT…the only RU-vid we will Patreon…as old, old horse owners and lovers, we cried as did Jen when they rescued Grace and Charlotte…this is what they do. It is what they do brilliantly, gently, with love. If ever anyone wants to support a cause, a passion and pure dedication…this is one. Whether you are ‘horsey’ or not…the Moons rick…Nick and Jen…just…THANK YOU! 😘😘😘😙
When I was a child with four sisters my dad had a little area set up like a hospital for when he repaired our dolls and stuffed animals. He would put his doctor coat on and always checked their heart beats with his stethoscope before he would get to work with the repairs. Sometimes our dolls and stuffies even had to stay the night at the hospital. But we could always visit them when they were sick or hurt. Best dad ever❤️
I'm sure Charlotte and Grace, and the others had no idea what was happening when you picked them up. They had no idea that they would be cared for and loved for the rest of their days. Your hearts are so big and I love the way you love the horses. Your family is beautiful.
Makes me so happy to see your subscriber numbers growing. But so much more than that, it makes me so happy to see all the love and care you provide for these beautiful creatures. I think everyone loves the clip in the beginning of the horses hovering over Nick while he works on his drone. 🥰
How can people just toss aside those beautiful animals because they are aged. With people like The Moons, there is hope. Nick, you always give 110% in whatever you do, whether it’s organ restoring, rebuilding an ancient house or giving horses a new lease of life in their twilight years. People like The Moons always seem to slip under the radar when it comes to honours. Well you both deserve medals. Keep up the fantastic work and look after yourselves.
The opening shot of the horses looking over Nick's shoulders was just precious. They really are like great big children, occasionally somewhat naughty children. The transformation of Grace and Charlotte has been truly magical, thanks to your hard work. Bless you all for what you do for the Legends.
Why do so many view but not like? I don’t get it, like straight away, then you won’t forget, and then you can always unlike, if you feel the need! Support the Magical Moons, it’s not costing you any thing!
Wow great to see so many new subscribers. I can see Michael Petherick sketching the elephant into one of his soon to be children’s illustrated story books so all that hard work on the elephant restoration will be well worth it.
What a great opening scene, Nick with his fellow rescue mates around his head. How wonderful that your voices are now being amplified around the world.❤️
Even though I know that Charlotte and Grace are so, so much better now, it still kills me to watch Jenny cry when first seeing them. It was nice to see little Liv again! Bless. 🙂
I think this is more emotional second time around. Nick and Jenny you have done a marvellous thing getting them on the road to recovery. 🏇🏻❤️🩹❤️🩹🏆🐎. ❤️❤️❤️💕🇦🇺
The filming of collecting these beautiful but neglected horses was very painful to see and yes the law must step in to protect these amazing horses who have given so much
What an emotional, but beautiful video. I think it was when I started watching that you rescued Grace & Charlotte. Seeing the pick up was again heart wrenching. Even knowing they're in wonderful condition now. Seeing and hearing the absolute heartbreak you both felt when you got the girls is a testiment to the immense love you have for these majestic creatures. Thank you for all that you do for not just them, but all the ones you have in your care. Praying for the changes needed to stop cruelty to animals. 🙏🐴❤️
Like many I cried tears of sadness and anger when I saw these beautiful horses condition. Today I cried tears of joy. What a change I have been watchingall the progress. Wow seeing this today you two are ANGELS and all the good folk you attract are too.❤
You two are amazing with what you do. Grace and Charlotte's sad faces when you rescued them brought tears to my eyes. They looked like they had given up. But now look at their happy smiling healthy faces. ❤ you are amazing please keep going xx
So good to see the story of Grace and Charlotte again, and such a good idea to show it again for your new subscribers. Congratulations on the increase. You deserve it and so much more.

Nick and Jen, thank you for what you do for these animals. I remember this video, and I cried all the way thru video with you. Grace and Charlotte look so much better and happier.
Magnificent recovery of Grace and Charlotte! The Magic of the Moon's care and sacrifice for these amazing horses is also Legendary! May the Magic continue to spread. Thank you Moon Family!! 🪄🧙♂🔮🧚🏇🐎
The transformation of Grace and Charlotte from that first day that broke yours and all our hearts is just amazing, it has still made me cry again but my heart could burst for your beautiful girls. They and all your other horses are so lucky to be with you. Love every vlog and so happy the word is spreading far and wide. ❤
So beautiful!!! Awesomely beautiful ... love seeing them kick while running! This is wonderful ... can't wait to see how you all restore this awesome carriage. He is so lovely and you have done an amazing job Jennie. You work magic bringing these lovely thinks back to life. NIck you have many great talents. Love how you all appreciate everything. When You show the horses, they make me smile! Thank you so very much for sharing with us and saving these beauties. I agree Nick, how can humans allow this to happen to the hard working beauties. God Bless You and Jennie for all that you are doing to respect these lovely horses. They deserve this love and care you all are showing on them. Such joy to see them now frolic in the pastures. All the very best to you both. Awesome!!!
It is still very sad to watch. I saw this, when you picked them. The horses looked like they had given up and how it affected both you two and I should imagine all of us watching. Heartbreaking.then💔💔🫏🐎🐎🫏❤️🩹❤️🩹 now 🥰🥰 You have worked the moon magic, they look stunning the coats sparkle. The way they were jumping and running in the field was lovely to watch. Thank you for given them their lives bag. They are lucky horses to be living on the truly magical farm. With a caring and professional family. Couldn't be a better place 🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤
Even though I have followed Grace and Lotties journey since you rescued them and I know how happy and well they are now, I still cried the same painful tears I cried at the start of their journey with you. I've watch Grace become more and more alive with every passing day and Lotties character I am sure helped Grace to keep fighting until the magical Moons arrived to take them home. I never understood any animal abuse and I thank you for each and every Legend you are able rescue and save. Love to you all xxxx
Hi Magical Moons x you get me every time with all your beautiful horses . The difference in charlotte and Grace is stunning they dont look like old horses they look young and so happy in your Magical home thanks to your love and care . The herd horses are truley beautiful in such beautiful surroundings you all deserve the best... the world needs more Jennys and Nicks . Love all you do .
What a beautiful opening this was Jenny and Nick. This always make my day seeing these lovely Legends. I have my English Nana’s Singer treadle sewing machine in its original English Walnut sewing table. It still works. It needs a new rubber gasket so the treadle can work. It’s got beautiful details and very heavy to move. I’m blessed to have this ancient old girl that my nana sewed all my mom and her siblings clothes on during her lifetime. My mother is the last of the old generation and pasted away at 97 last week in Feb 2024. The journey picking up Charlotte and Grace made me cry again. Under your care and love these gorgeous girls are living their best lives and so happy. Once again tears flow in happiness for theirs and all the legends having a good life for as long as they are alive. Thank you for all you do and to all that are able to contribute financially and with products to help in their care. Much love to you all. ❤❤❤
I cried sad tears, then I smiled, then I cried happy tears. You wonderful people ❤. I subscribe to a few RU-vid channels but I only have one patreon and 'The Moons' is it. Please join them ❤❤❤❤❤❤
This is so wonderful to see. They both were always beautiful but now their coats and demeanour match their inner beauty. Good to see Grace getting healthier and healthier. And Charlotte ... cheeky as ever. Thank you for the update
I watched the rescue in real time, and knew they were in bad shape, but I'd forgotten just how emaciated Grace was and how terrible the lice had eaten Charlotte. Large hankie round two, I know they are safe and healthy now, and in marvelous condition due to your care. I think that was when I joined your patreon, right after you got them. Pretty much the price of a Starbucks coffee each month (which I never drink anyway, who pays that much for a coffee?) multiplied by many of us on this end can really help Legacy of Legends thrive. Stay magical1
Horses are so intelligent, as poorly as they were I am sure right away that they knew they were being rescued and everything was going to be okay!! Hopefully they have many happy years ahead!!😢
It's Big Thank you to you Nick and Jen and all your family every time I see Grace and Charlotte I have tears of joy in my eyes. Beautiful filming as always love to all of you Xxxx
Wonderful to see the magical transformation of Grace and Charlotte thanks to the love and excellent care you give to all your critters! Hugs from Honduras! 🥰
It is the fact that too many people abuse animals. These are the people who make me lose all faith in the human race. What you and your family are doing for these lovely animals is so very special. You are tender spirits. To those animals that you have saved, you are guardian angels. Thank You.
I used to service thoses old singer machines at school in the needle work class, that was my job..I hope to get another old one.lsome day. Thanks to u and all other subscribers for thoses lovely horses, they deserve a nice retirement home ,safe and happy and well cared for.
I hoped you would include that wonderful shot of Grace lying down in her blanket when you first got her and sleeping a lot in comfort for the first time in a long while as she began to relax and recover. What a wonderful change in her.
So glad you help & save these helpless horses to regain their health and beauty again. You are a wonderful and caring family. Keep doing what you love in your caring for them. They need you. Greetings and best wishes from South Australia. 💖❤💚💜
The energy of The Herd running free goes from my eyes right into my soul and tears of joy flood my eyes. I know this may be a bit off-putting, but everything inside prompts me to say this. 🐴🐎 The baby elephant is so beautiful, Jennie, what wonderful work you do!! 🐘Michael will be so pleased!! If anyone can restore a 128-year-old Singer sewing machine, Nick, it's you!! Your hands are absolute magic!! This is a very important and essential episode, so everyone can witness for themselves the magical transformation of Charlotte and Grace. Yes, it was heart wrenching seeing their initial condition, but now they are running free, well care for and happy. You can see it, especially in their eyes and how they move. You are wonderful Moon Family!! ❤❤❤
Thank you for the bitter sweet memory of Charlotte and Grace's journey to your beautiful property, and their incredible progress under your care! It is you, the magical Moon family, who are the true legends!!!❤
Just love it, love it, love it, thank you, thank you, thank you for all the hard work you do, I am so glad to help as a patreon to this remarkable family but you give me so much more ❤
It was this video and the emotional response from Jenny and Nick that made me become a Patreon. Rescuing the two badly conditioned horses from slaughter was and is absolutely noble. Please don't sit by and just watch. They. need your support and love. Thank you
