They definitely need to cut back on the voice acting. The player needs to be able to immerse themselves into the world, the quiet moments really help the atmosphere. Imagine if in Outlast the character talked ever 10 seconds, it wouldn’t be nearly as scary. Doesn’t help that’s he’s not a very good voice actor.

The stuff at 8:09 is called โอ่ง Ong or ตุ่ม toom in Thai language. You can ask your Thai friend for correct pronunciation. It is made of soil. Thai people use it to contain the water. It is rarely seen today, especially in the city, but you can find it easily in the villages or countrysides. There was old Thai horror comedy movie about 20 years ago which had the scene that the people who ran away from the ghost would hide in this stuff.
