Where the church is there also is God's SPIRIT.

"forsake not the assembling of yourselves together". Additionally, not doing so when you are able will inevitably destroy you because you can't walk alone spiritually. Beat me to it, though to be fair, I would've said it's a mind set, it's not "you have to" it's "You get to." I was watching a video a while back and it said that if ones father, great relationship, always been there, provided, etc etc had died. And you found his letters you'd read them over and over and over again why? Answer that question and that's the mindset that should be of reading the bible.

Can you provide some scripture to help us understand what you're saying? The gospel message in John 3:16 seems clear. Once you believe, you are saved.

I think reading the Bible with an open heart and mind is way better than subjective recollections of severely stressed individuals who claim they have been to hell. In fact the Bible is clear about hell being a future advent, not yet prepared.

Nobody has been to hell and came back except Jesus Christ the Lord after His death on the cross,before His resurrection. There are no real NDEs. Once saved always saved is on the premise of persevering faith. We can go through this life with utmost confidence that when we believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins and we are made righteous through His blood, and thoroughly repent and live the abundant new life in Christ. ❤

@@OmgKyo Just start reading the New Testament. The entire NT is very clear on this subject. Just start with Matthew 7:21. This verse is talking about those who have claimed to have known Christ but never did because they never repented of their sins and start doing the will of God. God's will for us is simply to believe in Jesus and Obey his commandments. But yet like IFBBJacked states those who believe in onced save always saved will state that Obedience is a work. James in Chapter 2 Says I will show you my faith by what I do and in his conclusion his states that Faith with out works is dead. Now the works James is talking about is not work on the Mosaic Law but it's the works of show the fruits of the spirit. If you have faith but not love, you have a dead faith. Just start reading the NT and pray about it and verses like this will just start jumping off the page. Onced Saved Always Save Doctrine is indeed a dangerous doctrine to put your faith in. Satan wants you to believe in it.

If you hate reading the Bible ask the Holy Spirit to help you understand before you read. Or if it’s the reading part, you can listen instead with Bible app. If we don’t put His Word in our hearts we are prone to being deceived and following our own way of loving people than His way to love people.

Interesting how God influences and protects us so that we can find a way back to him. I JUST saw the answer to this in another video, so, if someone you love leaves behind letters to you, will you not read them? That is the word of God, his guide and memoirs and guidance to find our way back to him!

If you love the Lord, you will want to know more about Him, you will only know more about Him by reading His word. If you don't want to know more about Him and talk to Him and learn more about him, you don't love Him. The enemy has placed that thought in your mind, that disobeying Him is okay, don't be fooled.
