The hardest pill I swallowed was realizing I meant nothing to people that meant a lot to me. Maturity is when you realize people can't give you what they can't give themselves. I know he wants to communicate, the crazy amount of signs and syncs I have seen lately back that up. I am closed off for the moment because he needs to learn to love himself and not rely on external people, places and things. He chose that, he chose karmic energies both times now over three decades apart. He's put those energies first above his own needs and wants. I'm not being stubborn, I just don't want him being codependent on me and my energy. He did pick up mood and energy wise when we reconnected and didn't the karmic hate it. We were childlike and young again because we remembered what it was like when we were together as teens, when things were good. Our happy place before it all went south. But he knows what he has to do, he started doing this last year after we reconnected. But for now, I need to focus on myself and my own healing and growth. I have to protect my energy as he did bring a lot of his generational karma into our connection again. Something I pointed out last we spoke nearly five months ago now. I'm not saying NO but right now I'm not saying YES either. I did it 18 months ago and got burnt so now he has to come forward authentically and independently, not codependently with the karmics attached. It's just where I am on my journey.
