I always think that when we died our soul will not go up there as most people said when they meas went to heaven instead we stay close to our loved ones. My husband died 25 yeasts ago and I never feel alone because he is by my side at all times. I also believe that perhaps we are particle of God, since we are also a pertcle of the universe. We just choose to have an experience in this planet and will go to another dimension when we are reunited with all people who we love. Together will start another adventure.

My question is..if we are already there, behind the curtain, in consciousness, and are even aware and in agreement with this fact, why do our loved ones who are "behind the curtain" feel so far from us. I lost my 22 year old son almost 3 years ago. He has sent me incredible signs, so I KNOW beyond a shadow of a doubt that he still exisits. Yet, I still so dreadfully, miss him. If I am indeed there with him now in consciousness, why do I feel I must wait to be "reunited"with him until after this avatar of mine expires? I don't want to wait! This body feels like just a hundrance to me communing with him again. What are the next steps of truly living in this mindset? How shall we then live, having this knowledge? The author has an iota of understanding of what death is and where we go after death. Most of the positive reviews are either paid reviews or their total ignorance about the phenomenon of death as most people are in this age of spiritual decadence and moral cowardice. When people die, they are inhabited in their astral bodies and go to one of the seven regions of the astral plane or spirit world depending on the level of their vibrational frequency, and will one day reincarnate back on the earth plane. Advanced souls with a high level of consciousness are inhabited in their spiritual or causal bodies and will go to one of the regions of higher spiritual planes and will not be incarnating again. Where people go when they die is entirely determined by their spiritual development during all their past lives and the present life just concluded. I wonder if something is required to observe nothingness. When that nothingness cannot be understood. Since it is not just a lack of anything, but really, nothing at all. Which has no meaning to the conscious mind. So such a condition cannot be observed, but only understood as an unconsciousness. Which only begins to understand the world at the dawn of consciousness. But, before that, there is nothing.

If we are avatars than what about child birth of living life's, it might be we all are cells who driven by energy and certain cosmic rules which use to consume and transfer energy to each other around the environment. There are a lot of well worded and formulated presuppositions to work through here. It feels closer to truth than the dredge of mundane, seemingly meaningless existence but it isn't observable, and feeling right, as we are all well aware, does not equate to being right regardless of the longevity of held ideology on the matter from one consciousness to the other. In a sense, it builds it's own identity within our beliefs of it, a god in and of itself, for us and by us. That's the collective aspect of it. In this sense it seems a perversion against what God would be, truly beyond and outside of whatever it is we wholly are, as we are most evidently the created and not the creator. Not to say we shouldn't have much more to be proud of in terms of our value as creation, but let's not get narcissistic on the matter 😆

Dear Deepak my own Self 🙏🏻 You speak so well and yet leave one major point fuzzy. It is absurd to say “you” are the avatar as if you are “avataring” into existence and later you will “avatar” or appear somewhere else. The consciousness you so eloquently lead up to has no ideas of “you” in it, since any notion or idea of self is an idea not Self itself. Instead of saying “you” rather say Consciousness or That is “avataring” as “you” or me or everyone and everything in creation. This is the objective perspective Then there is the phenomenology perspective, where everything is experienced as a projection of Self from within as it were. But even then, there is the “you” or idea of self arising in the consciousness (or Self) in which there is no you for the reasons given above. The idea of a dreamer dreaming himself in the dream is common in the Yoga Vashistha that you alluded to. Please therefore consider re-formulating the language into a self and a Self or a you and consciousness or cloud and sky etc. What happens when we die? Nothing dies.. The material of the body avatar gets recycled according to conservation of mass/energy laws, looking from the outside. The ideas of “me” need not remain, in which case consciousness knows itself without self awareness as an individual Jajnavalkia says to Maitrei .. there is no individualized consciousness after ultimate extinction. Mahasanadhi or Paranirvana are terms used in such cases. However if the Self (not I) continues fluctuating it may, as it does, reappear as anything It chooses as it will. Saying that everybody is an Avatar defeats the purpose of speaking about an Avatar. Though the same divinity is behind every person, it isn't manifest to the same degree. An Avatar is conscious about being an incarnation of God and teaches humanity a way to realize God.

I've had memories from previous lives (including a future life) play out from childhood all the way through late adult life and thanks to the internet and asking the right questions I've been able to string together the identities of several recent lifetimes. I've even contacted relatives from that most recent life, but since they're benito trump supporters I no longer feel obligated, existenttially speaking, to unburden them from any fears they may have of living and/or dying. Memories by the way have more to do with a Soul than a brain.
